Incredible experience there! My dog is so shy and timid and they made him feel right at home. The veterinarian is a professional but yet light hearted and he made the whole experience of my dog getting treatment smooth as can be!

I brought my dog here for a possible UTI.The vet performed the following “procedure”: he pulled the loose skin on my dog’s back upward as far as possible, and while holding her skin in that position, claimed to be demonstrating that my dog was dehydrated and needed an IV fluid treatment. Then he presented me with a quote for that and other services, and medications, totaling nearly $800.He did NOT test her skin’s elasticity by seeing how quickly it snapped back when let go of (immediately for my dog). Nor did he give her a pressure or dryness test on her gums (blood returned within 1 second; her gums were wet). He performed only the improper test I described which would indicate that every sharpei and bulldog is dangerously dehydrated.I said that I needed a second opinion and left after paying an $85 exam fee. After collecting my thoughts, and because my CC requires it before filing a dispute (something I have never done before), I called to demand a refund of the exam fee, and he angrily granted my request. A Vetco vet that I brought my dog to later that same day did not corroborate his claim of dehydration.Another review here by Fabio Costa describes a nearly identical experience. Please read that review. I wish I had before coming here.I leave it to the reader to judge whether or not these facts suggest that this veterinarian is dishonest.I definitely recommend that you do not bring your pets here.

SCAM ALERT. They are out for your money. They couldn't care less for your pet. My wife and I rescued at stray cat and brought it to Fox Hills Animal Hospital. While in the waiting room, the receptionist asked me about the cat, I told her a few details like "She drank water for minutes when we first put out some water for her". Later when we were having the consultation with the "Dr", he pulled the cat's skin and said "It's dehydrated". Then proceeded to push me a $150 liquid treatment along with many other injections and medicines, blood test and urine test. Total $765 dollars. I said I couldn't do it and they dropped the price to $715. I was worried for the cat, that was in very bad shape, so I approved it. What comes next is what is appalling. They took my cat to a back room, for about 5 minutes. Then they came back, the cat was bleeding a little from its back. I asked him if he was able to draw blood and collect urine for the urine test. He smirked and said "yes I got what we need". And sent me home. The next week, I called in to ask for the blood test results, and the "Dr" said "everything is fine. Is the cat ok? Good have a good weekend."I was not given any details about the blood test... and it's obvious to me now that no blood test took place. No urine test took place. Nothing. They simply STOLE $715 dollars from me. And didn't do anything for the cat. I will be reporting these scammers to all pertinent agencies.

We started coming into this office after our move from another state. Our beloved dog’s health took a sudden turn for the worse. Dr. G. acted fast, running test, and making room in his schedule at the last minute. Even after our dog was taken to a specialist at the animal emergency room, he called us daily to check in.We are so appreciative of his kindness and care. I’ve never had a vet call to check in even after the pet is transferred to a specialist. We will continue to trust Dr. G with our little fur babies.

Fast, friendly, and cheap! Very happy I came here.I came to this place right after our male pet rabbit got hurt (he got loose, ran off, and had a bad fall at some point in the night).I called *at least* 6 different animal hospitals in the area to ask if I could bring him in, but none would take him due to the fact that they did not treat rabbits ('cats and dogs only' is what I kept hearing over the phone).I finally decided to give this place a try after I heard that they did treat rabbits, as well as cats and dogs, and other pet animals. When I called, someone picked up right away and offered to see me that same day and set up an appointment for that afternoon. I was able to bring our rabbit in just a few hours after I called.I spoke directly to the doctor and he did a complete exam + x-ray within a short amount of time (I'd say I was there no more than an hour or so, max, as I got in at 1 pm and was out by 2 pm-ish).He shared his insight, explained how he examined him, and even gave us a copy of all our paperwork and x-rays as well. He was also very up-front about the costs of everything and had every part of the service printed in writing, so I knew what the total cost would be before I agreed to it.I also saw other customers coming in and out with their pets (they were busy!) and the doctor and staff seemed very friendly and sweet. I was very happy I came here and I will come back!If you're looking for a tiny little mom-and-pop-style vet to take your pet to in LA, then I'd say this is your place.

DrG gets a 5 star rating every time. He and Jonathon are a great team. But unfortunately the new team, including Wendy at the desk, one other woman are working hard to put Dr G out of business. If you can't see Dr G go elsewhere. Having to endure what I went thru with Wendy at the helms was absolutely horrible. Here is my original post, in part..A 1 star review given.I am currently sitting outside of fox hills hospital waiting for a dr to come out. I have been a client of dr g's or a long time. He has been excellent.Wow, things have changed. And for the worse. It is so bad now that the health and well being of my dog, who is currently on medicaion and special food, per the care of dr g, is at risk. [Dr G was horrified when I told him about this..it put him in tears].Wendy, the new office person is so incompetent and completely uncaring. I have been calling the dr's office over and over for a perscription for the special food for my pet. [dr g was on the first vacation he has taken in over 30 years, and had returned, was available for two weeks. i duscovered dr g spoke to the new attending vet often throughout the day..new vet is Dr 's son!]Wendy said on three occassions she would get my perscription sent to me via email. Crickets....Not only has she ignored my resquests she is refusing me to speak with dr g and the attending dr when dr g is not in the office. Dr g typically calls me to make sure we are on the same page. Now...crickets...Did Wendy ever say anything to dr g? Most likely she forgot. [Wendy never ever spoke to Dr G..she purposely refused to provide Dr G or the new vet any info or request from me. Upong reading my star review Dr G called me at home. He would have never known had a review not been posted].Today, Saturday, Wendy tells me to wait until Mon to call. She told me on Frid to call Sat. This is a pattern. When I went in last week, still not able to speak with dr g, I got rations at an inflated price. Not once did Wendy follow up with me. absolute crickers...This was not typical and very unusual. At this point I was frustrated so I called her out on her behaviour. She hangs up on me. Then she answers the phone and rather than have a discussion to get my dogs food, she sets the phone on the counter. I then hear Wendy and another lady laughing at me in the background! They then hang up on m again.I offered to see the dr on staff with Stella since dr g as out. That offer received zero response. Not a yes, not a no. Nothing.Three weeks of this!!Wendy then says she talked to dr g and he told her that i couldn't get any of stella's food or meds. i would have to wait until Monday.Three weeks at this and while Stella is still on Meds, and without perscription food, this treatment is opposite of what have experienced in the past.Dr G's previous staff, Beatrice and Marylou were an extension of the dr, and they provided exceptional cust service.WITH WENDY AT THE HELMS EVERYTHING HAS ONE DOWNHILL.WENDY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ANIMALS AT ALL.I TRIED FOR THREE WEEKS AND WAS FLATLY IGNORED. STELLA IS THE ONE WHO IS SUFFERING HERE.I sent an email to secure my pets records for my now new vet. I specifically requested Stella's to be sent to me via email today by 1pm, because this is at a critical stage and she is at her new vet's office. [records were never provided].That vet asked that I obtain her records. My new vet said I could do this and a special request was not required to secure pet records.I have been with Dr g over 15 years. He has helped me with all my pets. With the current level of abuse and flat out ignoring my requests, I didnt see any other option. A review had to be posted. On a final note. When I went to the office, rather than help me, Wendy chose to videotape me.Wow, how horrible.-----Staff are supposed to be an extension of the Drs in the office. Wendy is definitely not that. The decisions she makes/made can be/have been detrimental to the health and well being of your/my pets. This is something Dr G worked years to avoid.Wendy needs to go.

I started bringing my golden retriever to Dr. Girgis during the pandemic. Even though the office, its atmosphere and the staff were not exactly confidence inspiring, Dr. Girgis was very nice and his prices were lower than all the other vet clinics in Culver City. Fast forward to now, and something has occurred whereby Dr.Girgis now charges 4 times more than before, highway robbery style. For an ear infection treatment he suggested I pay 879 dollars. Just two weeks ago I had my dog receive a rabies shot and flea medication for a 300 dollar bill. I am taking my dog to a new vet and will never return to Fox Hills Animal Hospital.

We have taken our cat to Dr. G. a few times for emergencies, and annual check-ups. He and his staff have always been very friendly, and generous with their time and information. they have been reasonably priced, and high quality service. We love our fur-baby, and have complete faith that Dr. G. and his team have all pets health at their top priority. Highly recommended.

Pretty good vet! I brought my puppy in for her first check up since owning her. They charge $75 per regular visit on a weekday. Then additional per vaccine etc. My bill was about $175 after the visit. They also prescribed a flea oral medication based on my puppies weight. I think that was about $30 and I appreciated that they sold it for a monthly dose. The vet explained questions thoroughly and gave recommendations based on his expertise. As a client, only the puppy goes into the hospital and you wait outside in your car until the appointment is finished. Appointment lasted about 35 minutes. They also kindly gave me a folder to hold all of my puppies documents to bring to her next appointment.Very detail oriented.

Dr.G and his staff were absolutely amazing! My girlfriend and I were extremely concerned about our puppy as she was not acting herself- she had loss of appetite, and was not being playful. After calling several vets and not being able to secure an appointment we were overjoyed that Dr.G was able to see Zoey the following day. When we took her in we appreciated his honesty and urgent care. We ended up leaving her over the weekend and Dr.G called us every day to touch base, which we appreciated greatly. Thank you again to Dr.G and his staff for the amazing customer service and for saving our puppy Zoey. -Lia+Kenny

I had an appt. for my new puppy to receive a vaccination. I had to work so my boyfriend offered to take him. He left work an hire before the appt but there was a traffic jam casing him a delay. He called and informed them right away and called again with an updated eta. They said no problem; however, he got charged $40 for a no show fee. I called the receptionist to ask why when he actually showed up, she said it was up to the dr. I told her I wasn't happy with this since the policy states the charge occurs with a no-show and said I would be looking for a new vet, she said 'you do that' and hung up!

updated o 5 stars..Dr G called me today. Thankfully, Dr G reads his reviews. It was the only way I knew to reach the Dr. I now have a personal number so I can alert the Dr should I encounter problems such as this, again. my initial review...posted 1 star. i changed to 5 stars after speaking with Dr G. He had no idea what I was going thru. He was extremely concerned and apologized over and over. ____ part of original review.. I am a very long term client of Dr G's (over 17 years). He has helped me with several pets over the years. Dr G and his staff were aways accomodating and caring, until now. Wendy is now at the helms. She has effectively blocked me from getting care for one of my pets. Over the past three weeks I have called and have gone to the office twice in an attempt to reach the Dr, to get my ederly dog, Stella, her food. For one reason or another Wendy has failed to deliver messages to the Dr. and now, on a Sat Stella, my loving pet, today, only has 1/2 can of perscribed food remaining. Wendy told me, in a very creepy laughing tone, that I need to come back on Monday! I said/asked Wendy, " I have been reqesting this for the last three weeks, what happened? Do you realize Stella will be without food? You said you would take care of this and still nothing. What happened? Do you realize Stella will be left without eating until Monday? We need to come up with a solution. I did not drop the ball here, Wendy. You did." Wendy's response, "[crickets]". Then she hangs up the phone on me. As a result of Wendy's blocking, and actions, my poor dog, was left without perscribed food. And I did not wait until the last minute to get this food. I have made several requests and atrempts to speak with Dr G. I even reqested an apt to see the Dr. on duty today and was flatly ignored. It was as if Wendy didnt hear my request. I know she did. I have a very distinct loud voice. This is very sad news indeed. I really liked Dr G. but, I cannot continue to rely on he or his office to help me with my pet care. Being ignored, mistreated and videotaped when I come to the office, and completely blocking me from getting the care I need for my pets is unacceptable. I do not really believe that Dr G knows I have been trying to reach him for the past three weeks. For over 17 years I have NEVER had a problem like this. Wendy and the other lady in the office are not compassionate or loving towards animal or their owners. Wendy and the other woman (who would not give me her name) are the reason I am now taking my dogs to another vet clinic. When I called back and pleaded for help, I realized Wendy had placed the phone so the other lady in the office could hear me. While I am in tears pleading, they were in the background, LAUGHING. Yes, laughing. As a business owner, myself , I would never tolerate abuse of my customers like I have experienced over the past three weeks. All I needed was to obtain my dogs perscription food or a perscription so I could pick it up elsewhere. These were simple requests of which, were seemless in the past without the need for my constant followup, groveling, pleading and tears. During my several attempts to get this food, Wendy said she would make sure I was taken care of. She even cofirmed my email address. Results...crickets....and furthermore, Zero follow up. If Dr G had a problem or question, he would call me. 17 years the Dr has helped me and my pets, 17 years. Wendy knew that Stella was extremely low on food for three weeks (I did secure two cans at a huge mark up prior) and Sat she knew that there was not enough food for Stella until Monday. Did she forget??? Probably and now she is using a powerplay to dis me and prevent care for my pet who is under the Drs care. Not good to trear very loyal and long term clients in this way. If Dr G knew about this he would have called me directly, and right away. In fact, he would call me anyway and ask me how Stella was. That is Dr G. Dr G and I have worked together for years. I helped he and his office staff with a serious legal matter a fe
