Found this wonderful resource online and had to make a visit. It’s a wonderful, unique source for handmade paper and washi paper. Take the time to peruse through all the wonderful items in this store. The parking is convenient too.

Quaint, yet beautiful hidden gem of a paper store in Culver! Great quality products and a large selection of handmade and machine-made papers from various countries for a price that is truly reflective of the quality of their goods. Will definitely be back to shop more!

Great customer service in store and over the phone! As a novice bookbinder I love your grab bags and bookcloth small cuts! The bookcloth I purchased online for in store pickup-- the pictures don't do it justice-- it is so gorgeous. Premium materials.

A diamond in the rough. L.A. is not short on arts and crafts supply stores but it is when it comes to niche areas. Having a place like Hiromi around that specializes in paper both hand and machine made, is a very welcome sight for any artist or artisan looking to stock themselves with fine art papers from Japan and Europe. They have a wide variety of paper types, textures, colors as well as patterned and large format too. Whether your project is a simple stationary one or a large scale one, they definitely have you covered. The prices are reflective of the quality but also super affordable. You’ll also find some smaller type supplies like stationary pieces, calligraphy tools and inks and even imported paper decorations to hang in your home.Highly recommend coming to Hiromi for all your paper needs. Especially if you’re shopping at Graphaids which is just across the driveway.Plenty of parking in the rear, though do be mindful they share the lot with a few other businesses. They don’t mind if you take a spot just don’t linger for too long and you’ll be fine.

Beautiful supplies, great selection, a little pricey, super source of inspiration. I purchased several items including "paper" made with vegetables or fruits. Really cool. I'm looking forward to playing with them.

They have calligraphy brushes and a lot of really nice papers. Good ink selection as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend visiting. It's a pretty small store but lots of good eateries are nearby so it could be part of a very cute day trip!

The workers here are super helpful! Every trip I take to California I scout for washi paper for my mother for the crafts that she makes and sells at craft fairs so it's really helpful to FaceTime her when I go shopping to double check with her before I purchase certain prints. It didn't help that my internet connection was wonky that day but the worker allowed me to take photos of the designs and text it to her which worked and we were able to get the ones that we wanted.
