Been a member for several years, everytime I've gone there I've gotten top notch excellent service! From the tellers to the banking associates, all great. Never had a bad experience here, may have to wait a bit sometimes but it's well worth it. A big thank you to Joseph in the Culver City office who helped me with a quick issue! Definitely my favorite Credit Union. Thanks Joseph!

worst bank. they lie to you. I've been a great customer for 9 years. no overdrafts. depositing over 100k a year the last three years. but when you have issues, and they will lie to you. the at, never accepts cash. they will reject mobile checks based on bogus issues that they admit when you go in to the branch. bye lafcu. I reCleve over 30k a year from zelle alone but to this gd day I still haven't been able to resend Zelle back to customers....EVER. They lie and say it's the other party. Then it says the limit is reached. What limit and why I've never gotten a straight answer. WHY DO I HAVE A LIMIT. IVE NEVER HAD ANY OVERDRAFT OR ANY ZELLE ISSUES. KICK ROCKS LAFCU.

Used this institution for a solar loan more than 3 years ago. Sold the property, subsequently the remaining loan balance was satisfied through escrow. There was a balance owed to me, and falsely a notice of delinquent account status. I attempted to settle the remaining balance and clear the delinquency as none existed, went into the Culver City Branch in person after almost 2 hours the issues were resolved and I left with the remaining funds in my pocket. Not too long after I received a check for $5, in effect completely closing the account in its entirety per the attached correspondence. Thinking all was handled, I continued to receive statements! Thinking this supremely odd I wrote and requested for the correspondences to cease, no response was ever received. Today I receive a notice stating I will be charged for having a balance below $50, this notice was dated on April Fool's day, so I call, I'm not so happy with the representatives who answered my call, they acted as IF I shouldn't feel how I'm feeling, I was even told "I need to get approval from my manager to close the account so you don't have to come in", well that statement sent me to a special place of annoyance, I won't even quote the representative after I protested needing to make any more effort, I requested to speak to the manager. Thankfully he saw the time period and could empathize with my angst, my only request was for him to use what happened to my loan in totality and the responses by his staff as a teaching moment.

Most knowledgable staff, Manager and his team are extremly helpful. I end up opening more accounts When i visit for more information and i am very pleased with their service!

Terrible service, I made an appointment to close an account however I was called the morning of (twice) to change my appointment for an hour earlier, I came in and sat waiting for an hour after checking in, my original appointment time then came around and finally the only person available was done with their hour lunch. No one else could help me while multiple employees were free and available during that entire hour. The whole service ended up being a quick 10 minutes, it was baffling why they made me wait so long especially with having an appointment.

I have been a LAFCU member for many years and have always been pleased with their services. I was looking for a loan and worked with Araceli. I felt compelled to write a review as she went above and beyond to help me close the loan under a tight timeframe. I am very grateful to the Credit Union and Araceli for helping me through every step. Thank you and I look forward to our continued relationship. They will take your money if you don't notice.Unwilling to resolve my issues, they charged me a transaction fee for every transfer between my saving and checking accounts. Those bad excuses don't look good on them. "Oh I am sorry you are no longer a silver member, and now you are a bronze member so you are not protected anymore" What is that? I have been a loyal customer of this business for years. This is nonsense BS. I would give to them 0 stars but there is no such a thing.
