Match Stoneware is a one-of-a-kind studio and showroom in LA, filled with hundreds of hand-thrown pieces on display. The front room has unique and intriguing items, while the back has shelves stocked with plates, bowls, mugs, cups, trays, vases, tea pots, and candles. The pieces are beautiful, wonderful, exquisite, and unique, used by Michelin Star restaurants and local coffee shops. The staff are amazing, helpful, friendly, approachable, passionate, and not pushy. They wrap items with the utmost care, especially for gifts. While expensive, the price is worth it for the handcrafted and unique style. Customers can pick the clay body and mix and match colors for custom pieces. The location looks small but is incredible, with an artistic display. Photos do not do it justice, so it is recommended to check it out in person.
Found out about this place after looking for US alternatives to the ceramics we were shopping for in Japan.
By far one of our favorite shops - we bought several items from here and the wife is already asking to go back.
Products are on the pricier side, but we like the quality and selection.

Match Stoneware makes beautiful plates and cups. I stopped by after seeing their tablewares in different coffee shops and restaurants, notably Destroyer right across the street.This location is both a studio and a showroom. I got two wonderful salad plates and have been using them since. Loved them!
