Lovely environment for a sunny, Saturday afternoon lunch. Servers were both friendly and excellent. Lovely setting just off the street with the doors wide open. Great food! Very pleasant!!

Beautiful spot! Spectacular really. Great happy hour, although only until 6 and best part is they don’t force you to sit at bar! You can sit anywhere and make reservations. We had an absolutely horrid bartender ERIC - he literally ignored us when we spoke directly to him - twice, when he was done he said, ok what is it u wanted. He could have acknowledged our presence but no- ignored us until he decided to. When I asked him what the cocktail of the day, he said “high noon” so I asked “what is a high noon” and he literally took a box of premade cans of high noon out of fridge - plonked it down in front of us - the entire box - and left it there!Thank goodness another bartender RUBIN showed up and he was courteous, pleasant, funny and friendly.OVERALL, besides for Eric, we had a wonderful experience. Ohh the happy hour food is well priced and tasty.

Our waitress was SOOOO slow and offered terrible service. I literally had to leave my seat to get our waitress to bring our drink. I thought the food was very expensive and just so so, but the room was lovely. Thank you for your time.

Last minute celebration of our 31 anniversary. Made a reservation for 2. Never dined here before but have walked by in the past. Simonette accommodated us by adding a third seat for us when our daughter joined us. It was a packed Monday, and the restaurant told us there was all evening happy hour. The food was fantastic. Mussels were great, oysters, happy hour hamburger as well as the nicoise salad were all fabulous. They humored us by giving us a little candled creme brulee for our anniversary. Thanks Simonette! We will be back.

Although I love Simonette's food and ambience, I am troubled that the clientele has to accommodate reservation glitches. My party had a 4:45 outdoors reservation. When we arrived, the hostess, not the manager, (who was standing next to her) informed us that there had been an error and that a private party was using the outdoors space. She said we would have to sit indoors and I should have been contacted, which I was not. To add insult to injury, she came to our table later and informed us that we would need to leave by 6:15. Is this proper restaurant protocol? Because, our treatment felt disorganized, unprofessional and unwelcoming. Simonette is lovely, and it's a shame when such incidents leave a bad taste in one's mouth.

What can I say? Except this was very disappointing. We had been really looking forward to trying somewhere new, somewhere French, somewhere warm and cosy on a rainy night. Sadly it was hard to find and quite hard to park, there was a valet, but in the dark we missed it, but we were hungry and the menu looked promising that is until we were given a long list of things that were no longer available at 7.30 on a Sunday night, but as long as they had the risotto we were good - one of our party is vegetarian - we ordered, they came back, they didn't have the risotto, and no other warm vegetarian options, they offered pasta with cheese ? which is not what anyone goes out to dinner to have, so we left, found another place that had more than one vegetarian option on the menu which wasn't just salad. Come on Simonette, it is 2024, its LA, a lot of people here don't eat meat, time to offer a few more options or make sure that you do have the option that you offered, maybe that's why it ran out in the first place. We won't be coming back to check.

I had a great time at Simonette restaurant in Culver city. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere and a fun ambient. The bar was filled with people enjoying their drinks and conversations. The wine selection was good and the food was decent. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place for a casual night out with friends or colleagues.

Loved the surprise ?to set the tone for Valentine's Day. Busy, crowded and loud but a positive buzz w great soundtrack. Coursed meals + wine pairings were delicieux. Sounds funny maybe —but wished servers weren't so quick to drop food/wine and run— runner literally dropped amuse bouche and started to run off; we didn't know what it was... a little more calm presentation of the food — explaining— would have elevated service. (We know it's busy but stop and smell their own roses— they all had ? ) We've eaten there before (several times) and were super pleased with the execution of the holiday prix fixe menu. One of our best meals there. Bravo x Merci! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but my experience at Simonette was exceptionally bad I feel the need to help others save time and money. The service was very poor- took a half hour sitting at the bar to get a drink (it's wasn't that crowded). My husband and I had to share fork until we finally just got up and found another one ourselves. The steak was tough and hard to cut through. These are just a few of the highlights, I'll spare the rest of the details. Don't waste your time.

We were seated immediately. Server came by to take our drink order. Drinks took a long time to arrive. We ordered appetizers, which arrived at average speed. After appetizers we ordered entree and another drink. My wine arrived with the entree but my wife's cocktail seemed to be taking a very long time. We asked several times about its estimated arrival and was told that bartender was by himself and struggling to keep up; we eventually cancelled the cocktail because she was almost finished with her entree. I guess they were having an off night.

Don't go for dinner. Everything is waaaaaaay too salty (inedible), over cooked, and they have a terrible wine list (it's barely a wine list and the selection is horrible).

Atmosphere is nice but small. Food is just okay and menu is small. I wouldMore suggest going here for the drink menu and bar vs food. Food took a very long time for simple breakfast and service was slow on a Sunday.

A prime example of how poor management can just leave a bad taste in your mouth! Excellent food and lovely server, hostess, and bartenders. Unfortunately we were pushed out of our table at my birthday dinner by the rude manager (Matt?) after being seated late at our reservation. I was still finishing my glass of wine and contemplating dessert as we were told our table was reserved or another party after less than 90 minutes. Not acceptable for a place attempting a fine dining service.
