Excellent outdoor setting with free events including concerts and movies. Great for families and can even bring a dog. Lots of places to sit and some seating but we bring our own. Can bring food and drinks for a picnic. Summer Music festival has been excellent except for AllDaySucker. ADS are good musicians but mostly long boring intros and music selections. The crowd was underwhelmed. All the other bands were great. Lots of good local food and drinks places on site and across street on Main Street.

They've done an excellent job with this area! There are lots of local restaurants and an Erewhon connected, which makes it convenient to grab something to go and enjoy it al fresco on the steps. There's a parking structure underneath, but it can get full during busy times.

The Culver Steps is a new retail and public plaza situated in the heart of downtown Culver City. It offers open green spaces, creating a vibrant and kid/pet friendly atmosphere.[Parking]: The Culver City Steps parking garage offers the first hour for free and charges $1 for each additional 30 minutes, with a daily maximum of $12. [Shop]: The plaza has been expanding since late 2019, and it now houses a variety of shops that cater to different tastes. You can find popular establishments like Salt & Straw for ice cream, Philz Coffee for a coffee experience, Pop's Bagels for bagels, Mendocino Farms for sandwiches, and the recent addition of Erewhon in March 2023. Additionally, two more restaurants, Yunomi Handroll and AFURI Ramen + Dumpling, are set to join in the near future.[Surrounding]: The Culver Steps enjoys a prime location with the Culver City Farmers Market taking place every Tuesday from 2 PM to 7 PM just across from the plaza. Moreover, the Citizen Public Market, a convenient modern food hall, is also located nearby.Whether you're looking to spend quality time with friends or explore trendy shops, the Culver Steps is a great spot to immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere.P.S. - It's important not to confuse the Culver Steps (retail and public plaza) with the Culver City Stairs (aka Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook) which is a separate location known for its scenic views and exercise opportunities.

Culver City Steps.... Sounds pretty easy right, we'll don't be fooled, this difficulty is pretty intense but the cool thing about it is that u can Taylor the difficulty based on how fast you go... Challenge you to try and run the little distance from bottom to top.... I like that once u get to the top there's alternate paths and a nice walk down if u don't wanna go back down the steps... The video I included is a meditation type event they have every month

Very nice and modern public area for hanging out and congregating. Feels bustling and safe, and there lots of restaurants and other activities all around. There aren't many spaces like it in LA!

Great place to hang around. Coffee, restaurant, ice cream, shops, lounge area, and parking are on point. My favorite options are Salt u0026 Straw, Sephora u0026 Lululemon. NEW: There’s an Erewhon that just open this week. One hour free parking.

10/27/2021Great place to hangout or meet with others. There's coffee nearby, food, theater when they open again. Relax, read a book or your phone, tablet, whatever. Just a good place to chill and let your kids run around.

Fun area with a lot of things to do, and lots of places for food and drinks. Also like the decorations. The best thing about it is there is still few places open around night time and not everything closes so early

More steppy than I thought! Had ice cream and they refused to validate my friend's parking. I expect to speak to the curator of the Culver Steps themselves! Approved by the DDG.

Just outside the historic Culver Studios lot, the Culver Steps pavilion is a beautiful and energetic social oasis. Aside from the many counter-service restaurants with fresh and colorful menus, the campus-like atmosphere is peppered with liesurely foot traffic made up of happy families and busy professionals taking the air. The pavilion is dog-friendly, and it was hard to tell if the dogs or the humans were happier to be there.
