bugs in the bed didnt get sleep waste of points but needed the room and they had one.Noteworthy details: expensive rate is 3X what the orange county rate is for a less desirable location.

GREAT location. Walking distance to many yummy food places. Short Ubers/Lyft's to places in La to check out. Beds were comfortable. Staff friendly.Hotel itself is GROSS. Gloomy rooms. Loud bathroom fans. Rust in shower. There is no onsite maintenance as far as I could find out. So, if something breaks or is making noise. You're stuck until weekdays. The vending machine outside the room was making an alarm sound. No way to reach the plug. It was so loud even with earplugs made it difficult to sleep. Had to switch rooms at 2am. Keycard broke and had to switch rooms again. This place has potential, but it feels more like a Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn than a "Wyndham Light." Especially for the price.

Very easy public transport to beach and airport from the hotel. Good sound insulating windows although it is facing main street. No breakfast provided but there are plenty of good restaurants options within walking distance. But bathroom definitely needs update.

We reserved this hotel for only two nights going back to LA from San Francisco and by the price is good. Clean but, need improvement.

This place surprised me! It's just a basic motel so I didn't expect much, but the beds were really comfy and amazing water pressure in the shower. Great option especially if you're needing to be right here in the area.

Terrible experience at Travelodge by Wyndham in Culver City. Stock Photos used in advertisements - what you see is NOT what you get. The hotel was dirty and beat up. Our first room was adjoined with another room that had a 2 inch gap at the top- and while the door was technically locked it would have been easy to open as it was pretty wobbly. There was also a barking dog in the room that was excited to hear people. The room wreaked of weed - like freshly smoked. I have no issue with weed- I just don't want to sleep in it - nor do I want my clothes/luggage - or myself for that matter to smell like it. We called the front desk and they changed us to another room that smelled like crazy cat lady, very musky, and the air conditioning unit didn't work to even cycle the air. We decided to leave in the morning to get a different hotel (we were meant to stay for 4 days). When we went to the front desk we heard a woman complaining to the manager about staff using abusive and inappropriate language in front of her minor children. The manager did only charge us for the one night without issue- which was great. The hotel overall - should NOT have hotel status- rather Motel- because that is what it really is. Travelodge came in and bought a crappy motel and put their name on it- that's it. Security was minimal- anyone could get in through take front door and use the elevator. Rooms are all open to the outside (again- think Motel) and walls/doors are thin- you can hear everything. If you're on a budget - I'd still recommend something else. Terrible place

Great rooms, large and comfortable. Very friendly staff that allowed me to keep my luggage at the front office!

My main need in a hotel is a good mattress for a good night's sleep. Mattress was awful. I lifted the mattress pad up and the mattress looked like it was a roller coaster. Valleys and peaks. I wouldn't even try to guess how old it was. Came over on the Mayflower, maybe?- Overpriced at $200 per night. Reality should have been around, maybe, $75.- Mold in the shower - that was disgusting.- Tired old building.- Building, rooms need to be totally updated.- The Internet is slow and difficult to connect to.- A/C unit was noisy and would never stop running.- Room is dark and gloomy.- Construction going on the back side of the hotel so the noise starts at 8:00 AM.- Plugged up sink so when the toilet is flushed it backs up in the sink.- Can hear people in the room above walking across the room.- The toilet paper holder did not have the spool that the toilet paper goes onto. Too expensive to have them replaced, maybe? Was someone stealing them? I was moved to a second room after complaining about the first room and it was the same situation in both rooms.- Small detail, but the light bulbs were all of different brightness so all had a different light. Just a tacky detail.I would never stay here again nor would I suggest it to anyone.Let me add that I complained about all of the problems and was moved to another room. It wasn't as bad but not much of an upgrade at all suggesting to me that all of the rooms were all about the same condition. I do have photos and will post them on other sites such as Tripadvisor, Agoda, etc.Photos posted on Tripadvisor.Notice the replys from the GM. All the same response to all of the complaints. Just a cut and paste reply with no solutions."Rest assured, we will promptly address these concerns to ensure that they are rectified and our future guests are provided with a more enjoyable stay. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention."Yeah, right! Stay away from this fleabag.

The area was fine but the room was awful. The bed was terrible, the bathroom was falling apart and moldy, the floor was sticky, and the room was slanted. The hotel seems like it is about to fall apart. Here are some pics of the slanted room with a bottle of deodorant rolling across the floor.

I just realized i should have taken pictures of the rusty tub and the broken AC in middle of a heatwave. THe room had a cigarette stench! The front desk guy who I think may be the owner said "there is not reservation for you" when my name was clearly on the list. all requests and complaints were responded with "tomorrow" can i get some clean sheets "tomorrow, no one is here" The AC isnt working "tomorrow the guy will come" overall gross, i was too tired at 10pm to leave and find another hotel, I cant believe Wyndham is associated with this place. There was no breakfast! I would give no stars but this will not post without starsWalkability: it was near restauants and coffee shopI just realized i should have taken pictures of the rusty tub and the broken AC in middle of a heatwave. Ok place. Pretty sketchy parking lot, no bathrooms in lobby, tiny lobby, TV has issues, smells like drugs, decent enough to stayFood & drinks: You get a 10$ coupon for breakfast by the nearby cafe, no good options and hella overpriced. can't afford to do breakfast within the hotelNoteworthy details: Don't recommend staying long term

Not a great experience. Our air conditioner was broken (it's august). The Wi-Fi doesn't work. I went to the office to let them know and the person there basically shrugged and said she could reset it, but the wireless doesn't really work. We were kinda counting on it to take care of some stuff before we travel. It's also very noisy starting from 7am on a Saturday. And they gave us 3 towels for 4 people. Even if you're a budget hotel, seems like they could do so much better with not that much more effort.
