Ken was very helpful! Got me the bike I needed and was very considerate about my needs and desires for what I was looking for. Very happy with my new bike!

These guys are the best! So helpful when purchasing a new bike. Extremely helpful with tuneups. Just popped in to help get a bike ready to donate. Immediately helped. So grateful!

Today, my brother brought his bicycle to the bike shop due to a valve issue that occurred earlier in the day when he attempted to add air. He arrived at Wheel World around 2:30pm and encountered two employees, Alberto and another slender man. Regrettably, upon entering the shop, he wasn't greeted, and he noticed the employees were in the midst of their lunch. Despite extending a friendly greeting to both of them, the slender man turned and looked but did not acknowledge or greet my brother, while Alberto did acknowledge him but pointed out they were on their lunch break. My brother simply needed an inner tube, but they informed him it would take 45 minutes to provide him with a new one. This was surprising, given that the store was open. However, things took an upsetting turn when another customer arrived, and suddenly they were willing to assist this new customer. It's essential to note that the other customer was Mexican, while my brother is Black. The blatant racism my brother experienced was deeply distressing. Despite enduring racism throughout his life, he maintained his composure and inquired about the cost, only to be quoted a staggering $30!!! This price appeared exorbitant, as one can purchase 2 brand new inner tubes on Amazon, which is generally marked up, for $16 or $8 each. Therefore, the $30 price tag seemed excessive, because it was $22 more than Amazon!!!. It's disheartening that my brother wasn't treated with the same respect as other customers due to the color of his skin. I'm sharing this review to shed light on the troubling racism displayed by the employees of this establishment.

Called this place and was told by the service dept they could help me with my e-bike which needed a hangar/derailer fixed. I brought the hangar and the bike in and was instantly told they couldn't help me fix it on the spot because the hangar was not correct and they tried to refer me to somewhere else. A complete waste of time bringing my bike in to this place.Instead of trying to assist me after I showed them what Huffy the manufacturer sent me they told me it was wrong and wouldn't work. I showed them the original part and explained if it can be ordered and i'll pay for parts and labor, they simply just did not want to deal with it. Be weary talking to these guys on the phone, they will tell you one thing and then once you bring your bike in. They will shoo you away like they don't care for your business if it isn't worth their time and effort.

This place sucks. Selection is limited. Their prices were a bit confusing. Some items were overpriced, but for the most part they're prices were about average compared to other shops in the area. My one star is for the service. The service guy was working alone so getting help was slow, but he was friendly and clearly doing his best. When I went to Pay for my tube the young guy at the register asked the old guy (manager??) working in the back who owned the bike parked out front. The old guy then said "the guy in back with e-bike" Young guy said made a comment that it could be stole sitting out there like that. Old guy "so what, not my problem" I'd rather give my money to a shop that at least cares about their customers. I needed a few other items, but decided to purchase those elsewhere. Definitely won't be back.

I went in needing to buy a helmet, a new seat, a bike lock and a saddle. Walked in and got a glance - no greeting or even asked if I need help. So, I looked around the whole store and left. Went in again and it was the same service. Had to ask for help although they were just talking amongst each other at the front. They do have a good selection of bikes, locks and helmets. I got what I needed and I prob won't be back

My husband and I have been in the market for E bikes for a while. We decided to go to Wheel World in Culver City. I'm really glad we did. On our first visit we met Elmer. He was so nice. Super knowledgeable about the whole bike buying process. I'm short, 4'11" and he helped me find the perfect bike. He got it ordered and delivered to the store. It was ready for me to try when we got there, no pressure to buy. He explained everything so well on the whole operation of the bike. Elmer was great. I wish I could give him 10 stars.

This place is the best!! I bought my bike at wheelWorld a few years ago, and have stopped by a few times for little tune ups/repairs since then. Every person I've talked to or have been helped by are super nice and friendly, always (sorry I don't remember anyones name!!). They're also SUPER quick with their turn around times - often I'll pop in during my lunch break and my bike will be done by the time I'm off work. My bike was also a very reasonable price, and I can't get over that they do free repairs when you purchase from them - I feel like that alone should convince you to come here. I ride my bike to work everyday and I'm so grateful to have found a place to rely on for my bike needs. I recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

One word. Alberto! He's amazing. Everyone there is super nice and helpful. Alberto has a great understanding of bikes and is just a kind soul. Took my bike here because I collided with a car that didn't stop at a driveway entrance to the street and hit me because he was looking at his phone. Thankfully I got away with bruises, soreness and a hurt ankle wrist crotch and back. And seemingly minor damage to my bike and hopefully no hidden hairline carbon fractures. They took about a week to fix it which is amazing considering the holiday craze.I need a tune up, a new derailer, new rear brakes and some other small adjustments. Hard these days to find great labor so hope they treat Alberto and all those like him very well! Oh and they don't price gauge! Easy to get to by car bus bike or train.
