Update 12.14.23. still five star service. I arrived pretty much on time for my appointment and was seen within a few minutes. I was a little bit embarrassed because I hadn't been able to take them in for a while, but the vet and the staff were very friendly and just gave them their regular shots and checkups. Had a nice chat about my cats and the vets own pet lives too, and it was quite nice. One of my cats is really hard to handle, but they got most of the exam done without any issues, and I was satisfied to hear my cats were still in good health ?. I forgot to ask them a question about my cat's teeth before leaving, but I will probably send them an email, as they seemed open to communication after the exam. Definitely will be coming back again, and still biased because I still live right down the street. This reviews a bit biased just because of how close I live. Literally walking distance to this vet, and my cats are indoor/outdoor and take walks with me.Because of covid, a lot of businesses have been struggling so I guess I was lucky to get an appointment to here. Was able to schedule an appointment about a week out, and was seen promptly when I arrived.Doctor saw my cat for a regular checkup, and hopefully these guys will be my regular vet from now on!(Pic is of my cat that was seen, not the business)

Fantastic *small* veterinarian! We chose this vet because they offered laparoscopic spaying for our Bella girl (dog). The doctor is extremely experienced, and carries an amenable "laid back" attitude. That means that he doesn't push certain care just for the bottom line.Keep in mind this place is small (which I prefer). That means that it can get very busy. If you are impatient or can't be flexible with your schedule to a reasonable degree, I would recommend you find somewhere else to go. Just this week, I was there and a customer had something else to do at the same time (drop child off somewhere). Within 5 minutes of waiting, she left and missed her call for care. She returned shortly, and it became an unnecessary scene (because of the customer). The staff responded very professionally. This is exactly the type of situation you should avoid when scheduling ANYTHING, let alone with a small vet.The staff is seasoned, extremely nice, and most importantly, fantastic with your pets. This includes engagement, inoculations (painless), communication between staff, and especially cookies for Bella. And obviously the procedures. Bella's spaying was as good as it could have been.Enjoy this vet for what it is, a wonderful "small town" vet that can do or arrange whatever care your pet needs. To the staff, Bella says hello!

I love the folks at Cupertino Animal Hospital. They’ve been taking care of my dogs for a few years now. The staff at the front always remembers my dog’s name and knows his story. All my interactions with the resident vets have been excellent. I get good information and trust their advice. There’s also none of the woo-woo stuff I’ve experienced in the past like “herbal supplements”, cold light therapy, etc. They describe the situation, the treatment options, the risks , and let me decide. Highly recommended.

THANK YOU, Dr. Kureshi and Great Staff, Tara, Chrissy, Julia, Tatiana and Claire. From the 1st day of my dog, Latte’s urine infection in April to his surgery for bladder stones removal in June, We are grateful for having you, a great veterinarian and hospital care team.Thank you so much for taking such good treatment, due diligence, compassionate, capable and care of our beloved family fury member. Without all the great specialty, diagnosis, treatment, compassionate, capable and very caring my fury kid received at your hospital he may not have survived his illness. Latte's father, mother and sister appreciate all the effort that went into his recovery, THANK YOU!!!

I do not have words to praise and thank the entire staff & team of this hospital. The staff on phone was so supportive and nice that it made me decide to come all the way from Sacramento to treat my 15 years old cat here. Even Dr. Kureshi was SUPER nice when I met him. Very humble and extremely professional. The whole experience was HIGHLY IMPRESSIVE. THANKS for your services

My mother brings her cats here. The staff is very patient when answering questions and spends lots of time with pet owners. The care her cats receive is great.

Whoever answers the phone might need some customer service training; it's not okay to be rude to customers for no reason. We are not investing our money here anymore, sadly.

Dr. Munir Kureshi is a wonderful vet. He has taken care of my cat, Tux (for tuxedo) who has serious ear problems. The doctor is gentle, compassionate, capable and very caring. He has always taken the time to patiently explain to me what is going on and what might be needed to make my cat feel her best. The entire staff at Cupertino Animal Hospital is friendly, kind, and affectionate.Having had far less comfortable experiences with veterinarians in the past, I am very thankful the I have found such competence at the Cupertino Animal Hospital. Speaking with other owners of cats and dogs in the waiting area, everyone is also very happy with Dr. Kureshi.

Dr. Kureshi found a foxtail inside my dog's ear while she was under for a laparoscopic spay procedure. I can't thank Dr. Kureshi enough! Regarding the laparoscopic procedure, Dr. Kureshi did an amazing job. Well worth the extra cost to see your dog recover so quickly from an operation. Lastly, everyone in the office was very helpful.

Our dog got hurt while we weren't home and the contractor onsite doing a kitchen remodel took our dog to Cupertino animal hospital. He explained the situation and they took care of our dog free of charge! We called to inquire about the diagnosis and recommended care and they were very kind and answered all our questions. Thankfully it was a superficial cut and did not require much. Very impressed with the quick care and responsiveness.

There aren't enough words in the dictionary to express how grateful we are for Dr. Kureshi and his team. Our 3 year old otherwise very healthy cockapoo has been having stomach issues and significant weight loss issues for almost 6 months, and we could never seem to figure out what was wrong with him. He was lethargic, dehydrated and didn't have consistent or normal stool since October. Over the course of 6 months we took him to 3 different veterinary offices all of which who said nothing was wrong other than that he was allergic to his food, & tested him for Giardia and COVID. They said he could be allergic to protein or gluten which all seemed strange to me to happen out of nowhere and didn't seem to express symptoms of allergies. And that his lethargy was just because of the type of breed he was. As I nurse, I knew to trust my intuition and that none of these seemed to really explain his underlying conditions so we continued to search for the right answer. We were introduced to Dr. Kureshi and his team by a family friend & again couldn't express how grateful we were for him. After 6 months of beyond frustration and searching for answers he figured it out within one exam. Dr. Kureshi was the first person to take us seriously and LISTEN to what we were saying. He took the time to explain everything and perform interventions that nobody ever offered us before. He cared enough to think outside the box and knew it wasn't a food allergy or anything else that was a waste of time or money. He actually preformed interventions including a series of X- rays and ultrasounds and came to the conclusion that our dog Charlie had an obstruction. After two sets of x-rays and an ultrasound that he recommended, we finally had an answer and realized that he had intussusception, something that nobody else took the time to look into and was not normal for a dog his size or age. Without him, I'm not sure if we would have come to this conclusion until the very last stages. This all happened right around the time of our wedding and despite their schedules being busy they always made time to fit him in within a matter of 15 minutes and work around our schedules. They made every effort to help our dog get better. Within a week Dr. Kureshi had figured out what was wrong with him and send him on a road to recovery to be a happy healthy pup. As a nurse and working with health care providers on a daily basis it is truly a blessing when you find someone who is patient, kind and most importantly listen's to what a parent or animal owner says. It is truly such a sense of relief to find someone who is compassionate about their job and cares about those that they are working with. Thank you again soooo much for all you and all of your staff who listened to my ridiculously long list of possible diagnoses, questions and concerns and probably 20 phone calls over the course of a couple weeks. You never made me feel like I was bothering you or wrong about our dog. You have the absolute best team and are the only place we will ever recommend others to or trust to take care our animals! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Charlie, Steph and Al
