Highly recommend. This is a no frills, reasonably priced, organized, get-the-job-done-kinda-place. Steve is an honest guy. I came in having trouble with my brakes. He didn’t try to upsell me. The dealership quoted me $980 and I ended up paying less than $200. I will be back.Service: Brakes

n 7 8 23, I went on yelp to screen this business before I brought one of my cars in for repair. The results were mixed so, I decided to give it a go.I met with STEVE at the business because my van would not start. Steve found that my battery terminal was loose. He tightened it, and told me NO CHARGE.On my 2nd car, I paid STEVE $90 to change oil and rotate tires. From my previous maintenance records, I knew that 90 dollars was reasonable.From my experience, I see myself returning for future service.

Very capable, honest and reasonably priced. Have been regular customer for over ten years. Dealer workshops would say my (including my dad's, daughter's and son-in-law's) cars needed such and such repairs or maintenance and give estimates in the thousands. I'd take it to Steve Hao and he'd find most of these recommended jobs are unnecessary, then do ones he thought advisable at a fraction of the cost at much lower prices. As a bonus he's a very decent and affable person.Services: General repairs & maintenance

My son's car broke down in Cupertino and I live three counties away. There was smoke bellowing from the engine compartment. I looked at various reviews on Yelp and decided to try Cupertino Auto Tech. My son had his car towed there and I anxiously spoke to Steve on the phone about our situation. Given how far away I was and that my son was not too familiar with cars, Steve could have "found" something wrong and charged us and I would have paid. However he inspected the car and called me saying he could find nothing wrong. We wracked our brains about what could have caused the smoke. I told Steve we just put on new brakes and my son had gone down a steep grade before the car started smoking. Steve realized it must have been the new brakes overheating and smoking which made a lot of sense. Steve put the car back on the rack and inspected the brakes which looked fine. So after all this, I had to insist Steve to accept payment for his time. The posts you will read on Yelp about Steve being honest are on the mark. Thank you Steve for your help that day and for being an honest and decent person. Next time we need auto work anywhere near Cupertino, we will gladly come see you.

I had taken my car earlier to another auto repair, who bungled it up. This place is amazing. The guys immediately identified the issues and fixed them. Also usually when auto repair shop people try to charge you more. After analyzing the issue the people here actually told me that the actually will cost half as much as what the repair store that actually bungled up my car was going to charge me. What amazing people. This is my new local auto repair store. Seemed to me to be very kind and honest people!
