Our recent visit was nothing short of brilliant. We had a gift certificate for a champagne and oyster tasting, and it exceeded all expectations. The oysters, provided by The Bywater next door, were paired with a variety of sparkling wines and champagnes. These weren’t your typical big-brand selections; instead, we enjoyed unique wines from small, intriguing wineries. Ryan, the owner, expertly guided us through each tasting, answering all our questions and helping us appreciate the distinct characteristics of each wine. It was an absolute treat.

“The perfect neighborhood store. The folks there are very kind and the owner has a great sense of humor, often joking and laughing with customers. I always leave the store smiling. They have anything you’d expect a corner store to have and the beer selection is better than any 7-11 out there. The owner offers to even order specific items you want but don’t see there. That’s a level of customer service you don’t see at stores much these days that’s for sure. Great spot.”

“World Market is my happy place. I was cheerfully greeted once I walked in, and I found a bunch of cute kitchen stuff and gourmet grocery items to bring home. The clearance section had so much fun and interesting stuff. I'll definitely be back.”
“I went by to check out the place to see if they have an outdoor tasting area for guests. Not yet but hopefully soon. I bought my favorite wines one Sonoma Zin one red blend from Rutherford. My favorite CA Chardonnay and a Brut Sparkling Wine from Anderson Valley and a Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley. Everything is very well organized and I enjoyed discovering their wines. The staff are excellent and answered my questions about Brut vs other Sparklings/champagnes. I left the wine there because I was on a walk from home and picked it up on my way home. They have a lot of other countries wines too. Maybe next time!”
“Awesome store, clean and well stocked. Went in today to buy some of the KitKats from over seas. Mai was checking me out at the register and I asked if they had any larger bags. Cause I bought two items at Micheal’s and they didn’t have any big bags. She helped me find one that fit perfectly. Also told me about signing up for the stores incentive program. Which was free and got me 15% off my snacks. Which was amazing. Saving my day on the bag situation and helping me get a coupon on my snacks. I will totally be back! Kind employees with awesome customer service.”

“I come here from time to time to get some good bbq. The tri-tip and brisket are smoked to perfection. The portions are hefty and can be shared. They have a great wine selection and a large variety of spirits tequila in particular. I highly recommend a visit to this local market.”
“This Total Wine and More is my favorite. The selection is amazing, and they regularly have wine tastings which are fantastic. We go almost every week on Friday or Saturday to try the wines they have out for tasting and choose a couple of bottles to take home. Last week Oliver was doing the tasting and he was awesome! We got to try several wines that he thought we would like, and we ended up taking 4 bottles home with us!

“Ordered from their online store and they sent me Tequila Ocho Reposado and I ordered Tequila Ocho Blanco. The Reposado bottle is more expensive than the Blanco, keep in mind. I reached out and let them know that they sent the Repo instead of Blanco and they happily shipped me out another bottle of Blanco FOR FREE. It's not cheap either. 5 Stars all the way. 110% recommend and will be doing more business with them. Can't recommend them enough. Customer service is fantastic.”

This Nob Hill store is chill, has most everything I need, and the employees are pleasant, helpful, and have been there forever. “Pretty good place, but not a big selection of wine or soft drinks. Went by Monday at 5:30 pm (5/11/20) door was locked at the place seemed empty, though the sign says they are open until 7 pm.”
