“Wow, I didn't anticipate how difficult it would be to get a regular old styro (or cardboard pulp) shipper in the greater Palo Alto area to check on the plane to safely transport 12 bottles. After a crushing visit to K&L- who had hooked me up so many times before- I made half a dozen phone calls before I found these fine fellas who understood the issue and had the box I needed. While I was there, I picked up some world class Chard from James, a super nice guy. Neat little shop, in a bunch of rooms, in a repurposed doctor's office. There are some fairly serious bottles in here, but not everything is super pricey. Definitely something for every wine lover in here. If you're in the area, definitely worth a stop. Not surprised to see that they have very good reviews. I concur!”

“We ordered sandwiches here and they were very good. I tried the OMG tripe and it was delicious. However, there were only two people working, so service was a bit slow. It took about an hour to prepare four sandwiches. Since it was around noon, it’s understandable that it would be busy, but having additional staff during peak hours would definitely improve the experience.”

“Freddie’s liquor is pretty much a regular liquor x2. They have a large selection of alcohol but it’s nothing fancy. Come to think of it they also have a large selection of chilled beverages and snacks as well. The guys who work there are as friendly as liquor store employees are going to get. Definitely recommend swing by if you’re not sure what you want to bring to the pregame.”

“The perfect neighborhood store. The folks there are very kind and the owner has a great sense of humor, often joking and laughing with customers. I always leave the store smiling. They have anything you’d expect a corner store to have and the beer selection is better than any 7-11 out there. The owner offers to even order specific items you want but don’t see there. That’s a level of customer service you don’t see at stores much these days that’s for sure. Great spot.”

“Pretty good place, but not a big selection of wine or soft drinks. Went by Monday at 5:30 pm (5/11/20) door was locked at the place seemed empty, though the sign says they are open until 7 pm.”
