February 2022 by Derek D.
February 2020, Eddie and Mike came to my business to solicit business banking. I listened to the sales pitch and started an account with them (why not help a local bank?)... They use third party companies who are under investigation by the BBB... They've switched employees several times since I started this account. This particular branch doesn't seem to be much help and often refers me to the Anaheim branch...

The only bank branch I've ever been to in which the employees are better than our account manager, customer relations manager, and regional managers. They are very high quality staff. Consistently warm and friendly is a great bonus, but they truly shine in how they quickly and efficiently resolve every diverse problem I've needed help with. Every other branch I've been to (including some Comerica branches, but also Bank of America, US Bank, and Chase) tries to pass the buck, not this one. Customer service like this is why we deal with our ~$500 monthly service fee for our larger business account. Adeva, the branch manager, is a wonderful asset and the reason we did not take up an attractive offer to switch to Chase.

I love Comerica Bank- *all the ones that I go to in San Diego and ones I visited in the pass throughout LA/Orange County. But... this Cypress location upon walking in I really was not impressed or should I say disappointed because I didn't get a greeting or a warm welcome. There were 3 employees a customer at the counter and one person ahead of me in already in line. No hello, no friendliness, NOTHING! :( It felt like everyone in there just was there! NO ENERGY whatsoever of any kind - no smiles from anyone including the customers! It was also oddly warm and stale feeling inside especially coming from a 75 degree-ish outside. The air seemed like it was never even turned on & it was like 3 o'clock in the afternoon! I I was in there only about 5mins with waiting for the most part. So the teller did do her job- she accepted my deposit and I walked out- I didn't say a word to her, because I didn't need to!! WE didn't even have a complete convo :( as I walked out with all eyes on me by staff-no thank you, no good bye - no nothing!! AGAIN! The only thing I liked was the convenience of the location, and it it was clean but what Comerica branch isn't? Ugh... I felt like the red headed stepchild! I probably should have just done my banking at the atm in front :( and I wouldn't have had to write this sad a$$ review! Lol Not sure if I came in on a bad day or if it's like that there all the time?? Just wanted to say thank you all my Comericas in Daygo where no matter which branch i walk into, I feel welcomed & loved!! I'll do all my banking here at home next time before I head out to LA. Lessoned learn.

This is such a nice little spot in the area. There used to be a totally different staff back not to long ago. They went through a little of a ruff spot but now they have a good sting staff. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

Comerica has been my bank for years and I am very happy with them. I always go inside to complete my transactions and have never had an issue with cashing a check or making a deposit. Every staff member says hello when you enter. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and eager to assist you whether it be with cashing a check, applying for a loan or getting a document notarized. Comerica's fraud system is the bomb! Even before I knew I had unauthorized transactions on my debit card, I was contacted by Comerica's fraud department as the transactions were deemed suspicious. I was able to shut the card down and file a claim over the phone. My $ was returned in a timely manner.
