Went to look for appliances for our new home and John G was super helpful, patient and really heard what we were saying. Stay with us and worked out our entire selection process. He helped us look through all the info including pro and cons. He set us up for delivery, and walked us through insurance options. We paid him right there, at the selection screen, no waiting. Thank you John for being of great service to us. You're the best!

Warning - if you are buying anything the is to be delivered - DON"T unless you are able to lift and carry whatever you purchase. A few years ago, I bought a bedroom set. I made sure before I got it that they would deliver and take it upstairs. Not only did the delivery company say nope, but they also don't do that they left it outside in my front yard. Now, we purchased a television that we were guaranteed would be delivered, installed, and the old one taken away. NOPE - the company that delivered the television was nice enough to bring it upstairs, but they don't install or remove old televisions. In short, COSTCO hires companies to do their deliveries but, fails to make sure what the responsibility of that company is and what is required. COSTCO refunded our installation fee - wow!! Think twice before making those purchases.

The lady at the hotdog pizza counter asked for my Costco card ..I got my card from my husband in 2 minutes and she asked me to fall in line again . She sounded rude and commanding. Do I need to get such treatment for a hotdog?

Just a friendly consideration for mothers. I was wearing my 4 month year old during check out with a pile of groceries. The young lady assisting with the bagging didn't offer a box (I usually get asked) while bagging my groceries. So I asked for one, but she didn't help. It's challenging as a mother getting groceries as it is alone. It just would have been a friendly gesture to ask and help while I had my hands full. Thank you

I frequently shop at Costco and this one has the worst customer service. The workers here have the worst attitude especially the people working at the customer service section. White lady with long black hair working Sunday the 18th around 5:30pm. She must be miserable working there. I'll get her name next time if I ever stop by and see her again and I'll update this review. Go to the HB or Fountain Valley location instead :)

This place can be madness during the weekend. The parking lot is a nightmare to find an empty spot. Lines are long. I recommend coming on the weekday if possible.

I want to give my thanks to the pharmacy Department again (for doing a wonderful job). Leanna is always so pleasant professional. Karina took the call and Leanna took care of me again when I came in. They're always amazing. Renee is also very pleasant professional when we go there.

Went to Costco last Friday the lady was in the frozen food department handing out samples of Asian dumplings. There was a family of a mother and father and two kids waiting before me. Once the samples were done I noticed she only made a very small batch which didn't make sense but I let it pass. When she took the dumplings out she placed them in a bowl of sauce then picked each one up in her hand and cut one piece into two pieces using scissors and placed them in a cup. The dumplings were very slippery in her hand with the gloves. I wasn't really feeling the whole idea of her handling the food in her hand gloves or not they could have been cut in the bowl then by using tongs place them in the cup, but this isn't my complaint it gets worse. So the small family in front of me took that batch so I circled around for the next. I noticed she hadn't taken the gloves off yet but the food was still cooking ... so she picked up the spray bottle and had a very small napkin that she started to wipe down with .. complaining to me that she only had that one napkin and that everything was sticky and messy. She continued wiping off trays etc.., with the gloves. She was wearing a puffer jacket and noticed that her sleeves were sticky from the sauce so being that the paper towel was used up she sprayed the sleeves on her jacket and started wiping them down using the gloves. The food was finally ready and you might have guessed by now that she did not change the gloves!!!!! A small group of kids just walked up and I told their mother what happened and she pulled them away. I reported it to the manager. So this kind of stuff really makes me angry because you go home end up sick and have no idea what has happened not only that but I always let my kids eat the samples there it's almost criminal to me. Some bacterial infections can kill you! She should have been let go as far as I am concerned because if you don't have that kind of common sense or courtesy or even a sense of awareness that people are standing here watching you this is not for you. This is people's health here.

I used to love shopping at this Costco, for one thing it's the one closest to me and it honestly used to be fun. Not so much anymore, nowadays it is always always so crowded and congested, both on the week days and the weekends. It gets so busy to the point where I have a hard time just pushing my cart through the aisles. Some of the employees can be courteous and some will give you serious attitude for no reason so it is a hit or miss with the employees. I guess it depends if that particular employee is having a good or bad day? The parking lot situation is kind of a hot mess, you literally have to circle the whole lot several times to find a spot. Sometimes people don't pay attention and drive pretty erratic in that lot, so beware of that. Also, they are now being extra strict on verifying card members before letting you enter the warehouse and also being stricter about returning items. So with that in mind, it is understandable why it deters people from wanting to renew their memberships. You have to be a member to enter the warehouse and also to buy food at the food court outside which is somewhat of an inconvenience. One reviewer said you are paying Costco just to have the honor of shopping there which I find to be true and kind of comical. The good thing about Costco is when it comes to the products and the majority of the food they sell both are top notch, never really had an issue with either. The quality and selection are up there too. The prices are okay just because you are not always going to get the best deal grocery-wise shopping at Costco compared to a regular supermarket. They also provide tire, optical, and pharmacy departments. Overall, I guess if it wasn't so congested all the time, it would be more of an enjoyable shopping experience.

Would like to give zero stars but not an option. Been shopping here for 20yrs spending anywhere from 200$-600$ a month but this will permanently stop today after this last purchase. I got stopped and asked to show my Costco id card i used my wife's card bc mine was lost. Told employee who was checking my card this and she said I had to have my own. Then she wanted id to go double check that I had one. She found out I did and I was able to make purchase. Hopefully the higher ups at corporate realize they will lose a lot of people this way for sure. Maybe they need to learn what happened to Starbucks Inorder to learn you can't do this this type of s...t here this is the USA. I'm sure a lot of people will do the same as me and not come back here. Over a stupid rule that was put into effect from a stupid corporate control freak Costco will lose a lot of money. Won't be at at once but slowly over many months. Then they will learn.

Been coming to this Costco for 18+ years now. The staff is 99.99% wonderful. Sometimes you'll catch them in a bad mood, but we are all guilty of having a bad day. I watched many employees here grow older and older. We are all getting old together. Emma always has a great attitude. Jim is always practicing his stand up comedy routine and Daniel has such a warm smile (although I haven't seen him lately. He may have transferred). I enjoyed reading the Karen and Darren's recent reviews on Yelp complaining about Costco cracking down on membership. If they knew how to read, they would know that Costco always required the actual member to be present when making purchases. It's nothing new. These young (and old) privileged Karen's and Darren's need to step up and get their own membership. Unfortunately the government giving out free handouts during Covid has spoiled some of these privileged brats and they expect businesses to give them free handouts. I couldn't care less if they spend thousands of dollars at Costco..I spend tens of thousands of dollars at Costco each year and you don't see me complaining about having to pay for 2 separate memberships. $60 and $120 is a bargain for the service and quality we get from Costco. So don't be a cheap Karen and pay for extra membership if you have more than 2 card holders. Everyone else does so why should you be any special? If you don't like the rules, go shop at Sam's Club in Fountain Valley or Long Beach, they don't even check membership ID's because they can't pay people to shop there. I'm sure after a few trips there and feeling like shopping in a third world country, you'll come back to the warm comfort of Costco.

My family and I come to this Costco all the time-it's nearest to our home. We spend thousands of dollars here. On this day, I came with just my 3-year-old daughter as my wife wasn't feeling well. It gets pretty busy here so I typically try to come when they're closing but this time I came as they were opening-sadly, still very crowded. We do all of our shopping and our cart is pretty full. I get to the line and I'm told that my wife needs to be there to make the purchase. I understand they are just following "policy" but come on. My wife was literally sick in bed. And they made me feel like I was some kind of criminal. Look, it is my wife's card-she pays for it, 99% of the time, she's the person to make purchases. But they gave us no other choice-my wife had to drag herself out of bed to go and make the purchase because we couldn't waste another hour buying everything we need another time. They didn't even want to look at us when we returned to make the purchase. There was no remorse, no understanding, no empathy. Costco and their employees just don't care. Are there no good people out there anymore? People like Kathleen and Carolina need to be better. They need better judgment. Also, it didn't look like she verified membership cards equally among all customers. Based on reviews, Kathleen has had some prior complaints. We won't be spending our money here anymore.

"0" KEVIN at membership is the worst person to deal with. He talks down to you and he make your return like it's your fault. Now, if you don't sell me moldy items then I wouldn't have to return it now would I KEVIN! He makes it sound like he's doing me a favor by doing it for me this time. Then he speaks to me with attitude..."do you want it back on your card?" I looked right back into his face and said, "YES." Then as I was walking away he tells me to have a nice day in an ass hole sarcastic dick way. I told him I purchased it 3 days ago. It shouldn't go bad that quickly! When I opened the package, the inside ones were moldy already. Lately, their berries are the same ...all moldy when you open up the package.
