“Highly Recommend! David was amazing. We were debating whether to go to Lowe’s or home depot but decided to stop by Lakewood nursery and boy we’re glad we did. David was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We came in looking for Star Jasmine and David showed us exactly what to purchase, and how to plant and care for them. He is passionate about his work and you can hear it when he talks about the variety of plants and flowers they have. My husband and I mentioned we were looking for flowers that would attract bees and butterflies and took the time to walk us around the nursery and show us exactly what flowers would work for us. We will be back as we continue our gardening project.”

“This nursery is outstanding. They have thousands of different varieties of plants. They will probably have just about anything you want. The nursery is huge, it goes way back underneath the power lines. The workers are very friendly and helpful and if you need help picking out a plant or loading it, they will take care of all of that. The staff is very friendly, very courteous and the prices are outstanding. I found a Carolina Laurel Cherry for 1/3 the price of a popular large nursery. I highly recommend you come here.”

“After months long search for a specific leaf catcher, found it here at Alan’s. No surprise. My father, one of the original Japanese gardeners in Orange County, used to frequent Alan’s Lawnmower Shop. I believe that was the name back in the day. The leaf catcher is exactly the one used by my father and it’s almost impossible to find on the internet. I understand Alan’s is now run by the 3rd generation.”

“In the chaos after a horrific tragedy, we forgot flowers for the funeral and placed an order just a day before the service, with special requests (no flowers in colors reminding of fire - red, orange etc, soft shapes without dramatic spikes) and they were so kind, and the church was lovely with their arrangements. Wonderful compassion, competence and coordination. I highly recommend Queen's Flowers!”

“I had a great experience working with JR on my AQMD rebate application for an electric blower and edge trimmer. He has been incredibly helpful, communicative, and patient throughout the entire process. From the beginning, JR made sure to clearly explain every step, which made everything much easier to understand. He stayed on top of things and kept me informed, which I really appreciated. It can be a confusing process, but having someone like JR guiding you makes a big difference. I highly recommend working with him if you need assistance—he truly goes above and beyond to help.”

I got an amazing discount that beats any of their competition.Highly recommended to anyone. Not sure why they don’t have all 5 stars. The competition around here is wack. (Sorry not sorry) Other shops are racist. These guys have a far superior operation than any of the other shops I visited in the area.”

“I'm so sorry for this... I'm not one to be posting reviews But, this time I honestly don't know what happened. I came into the store asking for help on some sale items and Cashier Bianca H. was extremely rude, unprofessional, and had very low attitude. I come into this store ALL the time ( in fact, I was there that morning), and never once I've had to encounter this type of behavior. I was called weird, rude, and said I was yapping!. To the point where cashier Lizeth had to help me out (because Bianca, asked Lizeth to finish up the order). This is a day before Thanksgiving. I don't know if Bianca was just ready to bounce off work to start her holiday weekend or just too lazy to do her job. It's not my fault sale items don't have an easy scanning barcode to punch in the items into the system. I understand, I'm not the person who's on the account, or is authorized to put in an order. I simply wanted a list of the items so I could then transfer over to our sales rep to put in the order for us and THEN later pick up. I understand store policies and all that, I get it. That's why I was NOT going to place an order!. I'm a calm understanding person, there was no need for this type of childish behavior. Ofcourse! my tone and attitude will reciprocate the same way back to you, why? because excuse me, but who are you! to speak to me that way? I was doing good. I don't know what else to say other than ''Do better Bianca''. Many thank yous! to the Store Manager, Lizeth, and the guy who helped carry out my items to the truck. Happy thanksgiving all! One star for Bianca, Five Stars to White Cap!”

“The Customer Service at the Home Depot HB location has always been five star. They are helpful and pleasant and have always been efficient and kind... over the years I have purchased a ceiling fan, a desk lamp, paint products, had keys made and bought great plants fom the garden dept. I had items delivered there that I ordered online- the perfect mattress topper! Oh and a wonderful large area rug at a great price. Most recently, I used their truck rental service which as usual, turned out awesome! I typically buy my batteries and lightbulbs here, and they also have a great variety of beautiful fresh cut flowers!”
