I got to see my favorite Box Person today. I stood in a longer line just to see Eric. He always brightens my day. He lit up when I tipped him.

I have shopped here for years and unfortunately it completely falling apart. They have taken out many of the checkout lines and placed self checkout lines. I think if I wanted to bag my own groceries and self checkout I would got to its sister company food for less. Recently I was in line and as the lady was checking me out I saw that my milk was not in the cart and there were some tortillas. Someone has swapped carts with me. I informed the lady and the bagger I needed to grab my milk, which was on the same isle. She said oh you need to pay or I'll suspend it and you can grab it and stand in line again. I said it will only take a second and she said no. So I paid so I didn't have to start that over and it literally took me 5 seconds to grab the milk jug. I had to stand in line again and start a new transaction. I asked who the manager was and it was the lady who originally checked me out. I believe her name was Monica. I had never seen her there before. I told her that it was really not ok that I had to stand in line again for my milk and it would've been nice just to allow me to go or the bagger to grab it and she said "yeah well sorry" . Pretty sad and unbelievable. They use to ask if you found everything ok and helped but now they don't even want to deal with you or be there themselves. Not even worth it anymore to go and pay the higher prices. Go to Costco or somewhere else where they are nice and helpful still.

Yes, it's true. There's a Ralphs gas station on the lot now. Currently with gas at $4.09 vs. about $4.23 for the nearby Arcos. This place is cleaner than your own house. If you're used to the Shell stations for cashing in your rewards, beware that the Ralphs screen is a little different - showing, say, $0.50 instead of your points, say 516. So it's a little jarring - only 50 points? Also the air machine is super accurate. It may show that your tires - perhaps filled with the old fashioned machines - are overinflated

This is such a great grocery store, always well stocked, very friendly staff, and they even manage to keep everything running smoothly with the huge influx of clientele after another local Ralphs closed. They have been managing everything very well!

Edit: I just got home from a long day of work and what I ordered to make for my dinner is expired. I even put it in my notes to check expiration dates as lately expired food sitting on shelves is a common occurrence at this location. My items expired September 9th 2023. There is no excuse for this.Do not order delivery. They will mess up your order. And unlike other businesses that do not use Instacart you will not get a replacement order. However you will get a refund for your missing items that you have to wait 5-7 business days for and the suggestion to order the items again but have to pay another deliver fee so your items now double in price due to the fees. If it were DoorDash they would have simply sent out another driver to deliver. Instacart is awful and Ralph’s is awful for using them.

Ralphs in Cypress is my go-to grocery store! Wide selection, friendly staff, and convenient location. Makes shopping a breeze. ???

A decent small neighborhood store with little variety and with prices like a convenience store...in other words, very expensive compared to alternatives in the area.

The heavy set greeter is rude. She appears to be in a bad mood most of the time. They ought to have more cashiers. One has to do their work but the prices are high. I shop there because it's near work otherwise I woud'nt.

Friendly staff, items are easy to find, but omg they need to do something about those lines. Shopping here on a weekend is a nightmare if you come at the wrong time, sometimes there's only two lanes open and the lines are going halfway to Timbuktu. I can't blame the cashiers, since I know it's Kroger's fault. I've called Kroger and they don't change a damn thing!

This is pointed at prior 1 star review... I was a customer shopping the day this guy was a complete nuisance. He wasn't hard to miss as he appeared in the store with a couple gigantic bags that looked like his entire life was packed in them. He was kindly asked by a staffer in the front of the store to leave his bags at the front desk. He felt otherwise and decided to argue with this person and the manager that came up to aid the situation. He went right into cursing at the manager and after she asked him to leave the store he took it up notch by telling the entire store to "F-OFF" and giving "F-YOU's" to the staff as he walked the front of the store from one side to the other. As he got closer to the exit he startled a senior carrying a small black purse into the store. He called her a potential shop lifter and announced to the entire store. The senior woman was a bit shaken and completely caught off guard as she walked into the store to shop. As well, kids underage listening to this crazed guy carry on - how scary it must have been for them. He got so carried away with his rants that even customers were telling him to leave and that the police were being called.During all this I overheard a staffer telling a customer in line that in the past Juan seems to have a problem with shoplifting. I don't know if this is just another fresh face to homeless camp of people living up off Coyote Creek or if he just appears to look homeless and lives in a mansion. What I can say it sounds like he has history at this store and got called out in the nicest way.I commend the staff for handling this the best way you could. You don't have security and shoplifting is problem everywhere and must be handful to keep tabs on the same problematic people coming in.
