My experience with this business has been incredibly unprofessional and frustrating, and I believe it's important to share my story. My daughter was enrolled in March 2024, but we unenrolled her in January 2025. After disenrolling, I was shocked to find that the tuition was still being charged—$327 a week for three weeks, totaling $981—even though she wasn’t attending.
When I reached out to Jennifer, the director at CYPRESS Tutor Time, she informed me that we were supposed to cancel the automatic payments. I asked how I could’ve known this, as no one had informed us, and she apologized, assuring me that she would resolve the issue. She promised that the funds would be returned to our account within a week.
However, a week later, we still hadn’t seen any refund. I followed up with Jennifer, who said she would consult with corporate about the delay. After some time, I was told that the check had been processed in March and should arrive in a couple of weeks. I felt relieved but also frustrated, as we had unenrolled in January and I had begun voicing my concerns in February.
As April 28 approached with no check in sight, I contacted corporate again and learned there had been a mistake. They assured me they would resolve it, but it became increasingly difficult to accept that it would take so long for them to send a simple check. My frustration grew as I noted that if we were ever late on a payment, they would eagerly charge us a late fee.
Eventually, the district manager, DeAnna, reached out to apologize for the ongoing mistakes, said that I’d receive a check in 2 to 3 weeks, but more waiting was maddening after having already waited six weeks. After another two weeks passed with no check, I called to complain again, only to hear that there was yet another mix-up regarding my refund.
It’s difficult to understand how a well-established organization can mishandle such a straightforward request multiple times. I just feel stuck in this loop of mistakes, and the principle of it matters deeply to me. This school owes us $981, a significant amount that could have been used for other essential expenses like tuition, mortgage, or groceries. As of May 28, we still have not received our money.
Unfortunately, my repeated emails and calls to corporate have yielded no answers. It's disheartening to feel ignored and undervalued by such a large corporation that seems indifferent to its customers' financial struggles. I hope sharing my experience sheds light on the serious flaws in their operations and prompts them to take accountability.l

After a year of my children attending this daycare, I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone. It’s safe. The staff, including the director, are all easy to reach, welcoming to everyone, and will solve any problem brought to their attention. I love the way they speak to the children, my kids truly bonded with every teacher no matter what class they are in. They have cameras which are nice when you first get there, but I easily and quickly felt that my children were safe and I didn’t have to watch them the whole day. If you have any special needs they will do their best to accommodate. They work with childcare aware which is a blessing. My preschool age child will be going into kindergarten WELL prepared because the little homework assignments and class activities really helped my child excel. They change diapers very often, my child has never had a rash.I have had the best experience here at TT Cypress. I’m choosing to keep my children here instead of relocating them closer to where my new job is because I love them so much.Take a tour!

My babies have been with tutor time since the age of one and are now three years old. Tutor Time has met all of my expectations and my children love their teachers Ms. Sheree and Ms. Veronica. I truly appreciate the quality of education and care my children receive here at Tutor Time.

I just took a tour of the campus with my very curious 4yr old son, you can only imagine. We had to press a door button which was perfect. Once inside everyone said hello, not one person walked by without saying hello. I was nervous, new city, new school but they helped ease that by simply acknowledging my son and I. Once I signed in as a visitor I was given a visitor sticker, another bonus. My tour was given by Larrisha, I hope I'm spelling it correctly. She gave us a tour of my son's soon to be new classroom. All the kids said hello and couruis Kingston, my son, got shy. The teachers looked very happy with their students, and each kids personality shined. Over all the 4 schools we visited this school by fair stands out. I know there are mom's like me out there who consider an honest mom's review. In my opinion Tutor Time of Cypress deserves this 5 star review. My son will be enrolling here.

There just isn't really enough I can say about this childcare center. The English language just doesn't have enough words. The energy everyday is upbeat every class every teacher ever body here is so happy on their careers they truly love the children they take time with the children. They know everyone's names and are just happy to be apart of the children's life. My one year old sings her ABC and a few other songs as well as knowing what things are which really speaks to the parent school effort to teach the child. she's learning though she doesn't talk yet she tries. I will wrap it up by saying from the bottom to the top great childcare if I wasn't moving my kids would still be here thank you guys for all you do for us as parents and for the children because it's not easy.

This is over a span of a year being on waitlist and getting the run around from various staff members on the phone. I understand the challenges day care facilities face, especially with regard during this time of COVID. However, it is completely ridiculous to have to continue calling and be told "he's number 2" then on a separate call say "oh no number 5, they other staff didn't know if they are looking at the right list". Then be told keep waiting as we transition other children out. Having parents be placed on a string like a yoyo and never getting clear answers. Today after MORE than a year back and forth, they stated to call again September and their notes "show we declined a spot last July". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Be upfront about timelines and have clear communication protocols for both staff and parents to follow up.

I really like the care my daughter gets here. They do tons of art and play time. They have a great playground outside which she just loves! Her teachers Ms. Lauren & Ms. Ceci are awesome. They love her and take awesome care of her. They are always keeping me up to date with what is going on Via the schools email program and send little notes about how she is feeling/doing through out the day.

My daughter has been going there for almost a year and I can say that I absolutely LOVE this place, Miss Ceci Talamantes in particular. I was very hesitant at first taking my daughter to a daycare so young but Miss Ceci quickly put me at ease. My daughter absolutely adores her and I am going to be so sad when she has to move to a different class! Everyone here is super friendly and very nurturing. I couldn't have asked for a better daycare.

My experience at Tutor Time have been fabulous. I am blessed to have some great caregivers in my child's life. The Infant 1 and Infant 2 class rooms are the best. Thanks for caring.
