“Trying a frozen banana from Balboa's original spot "SUGAR N SPICE" for the first time was a delightful surprise. Despite the ever-present long line, the service is efficient and friendly, making the wait a small price to pay for such a treat. It's a must-try for anyone visiting Balboa, highlighting the establishment's popularity and quality.”

“Cutesy ice cream parlor, been around for a while. Very colorful and always up to date with different themes and holidays inside. The service is quick and super efficient. The fudge tastes artificial, but you can never go wrong with the ice cream.”

“We really enjoy their milk chocolate box. Every time we're in San Francisco we get a 2lb box, then have a piece each night until they're gone. See's Candy is one of the great joys for us when visiting San Francisco.”

“The Swedish candy is overpriced, but the service and staff are so helpful. All of the candy are in little jars and the workers scoop some in a plastic clear bag for you. Just remember that Swedish candy is a TikTok trend so the place will be busy, when I went they were all in stock. Try the bubs”

“How can a chocolate factory so consistently treat all its employees across so many places to be as kind, sincere in their attitude, warm and pleasing to every customer as this brand does!?We were enroute to SFO airport and chanced to see that the factory itself is here. Was quite good to know. As usually get a whole bunch of samplers. They have such a wide variety of chocolates that are brilliant in itself.I never knew the willy Wonka and the chocolate factory was based on see's ! Also that a few of the timeless recipes are those of the mom.No, they do not give factory tours and that is coz the formula is a secret”

“This is a cute shop ran by a cute couple that have been here forever and I'm sad because I just now discovered them! My 6 year old picked out unique candy like a toilet bowl candy and other toy candy that's edible! They are warm and friendly and I keep telling them to open up a shop in East Palo Alto because that's where I moved to! Our daughter was wanting to go to a Candy Shop and they were highly recommended on Google and Yelp. We will be coming here again!”

“Thank you very Mochi! [Japantown, San Francisco CA] These are beautiful Japanese confections located on the West Mall at Japantown in San Francisco. The confections are fun, fresh and yummy. We were given samples of the Harajuku mochis in strawberry and chocolate flavors. Ooh the chocolate just hit you at first bite... it's like Nutella with a doughy texture. I preferred the chocolate over the strawberry but these little soft pillows are so heavenly delicious. The packagings and canisters are amazing. Beautiful selection of wrapped traditional Japanese food gifts! They also have some packaged candy and mochis that come in cutesy Hello Kitty tin cans. My daughter couldn't stop with the oohs and ahhs LoL ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Nippon-ya is located on the West Mall at Japantown in San Francisco. Instagram: @nipponya.sf Review #3378”

“Love this See's. Plenty of parking, lots of samples, great peeps working at this clean shop. Love my dark chocolate nuts & chews. Well stocked. Discount for law enforcement, SFO airport workers- bring ID for discount. Across the street from Costco, kill 3 birds with one stone: candy, gas and groceries. Winner-winner, chicken dinner! (And dessert)”

“It’s a cute little hole-in-the-wall to indulge your inner child with. It’s small store front boasts a large selection of all the staple little sugar fixes a candy jar could ever contain. Their staff is hella nice too and that’s really the icing on the cake for me! I just wish they were open late nights. ???? ????!”

“This candy shop has a wide variety of candy and a great selection of salt water taffy. The taffy is purchase by weight, so grab a wicker basket and fill it was you go through. The only downsides were:There wasn't many diabetic/sugar free options. They must have had airconditioning previously as most of the individually wrapped hard candy by the windows had melted at one point. I'm sure it was fine but It looked unappealing.Dietary restrictions: There is a.small section of sugar free/diabetic friendly at the entrance to your right hand side.”

Double reasons why I always come during the holidays for myself and family gifts. Highly recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: They usually leave their doors open. First level / street level entry. Accessible street parking outside, as well.”

“Last time I came to this shop was before COVID and the variety has not changed a bit. Candy and chocolate from floor to ceiling. Chocolate covered strawberries and caramel apples are usually my choices.Parking: There is paid street parking all around, there are paid parking lots all around. Depending on the day it will be a challenge to park anywhere so come prepared to search.Kid-friendliness: Yes what kid doesn’t like candy or chocolate?Wheelchair accessibility: Most definitely but it is a tight store with a center median be aware.”

“Why isn't this store advertised more? When searching for candy or sugar on Yelp by Stonestown, this place does not show up. I was visiting apple store so found it by coincidence. I was pleasantly surprised by the well-organized categories of candy. The store is a great place to find gifts and easy to locate what you're looking for. Also, there is a fun seasonal selection located by the front of the store. Much more pleasant that it's sugar by pier in my opinion to browse.”

“Tried the beignets at Off the Grid at Fort Mason! Lovely way to finish the night. We got the Strawberry cheesecake one, and the filling was DELICIOUS. so creamy and added a good amount of sweetness to the bread. The other one was Apple Pie filling, but it was slightly dry. Make sure you enjoy them by the fire pits :)”
