I must be more than stupid. Our hamster died under his care, then he couldn't solve our rabbit's problem with losing his fur and now my Guinea pig dies. Our Guinea pig survives the anesthesia for the access draining but on day 3 of the antibiotics, he stopped eating. I did everything I could to save him. They wouldn't even take him yesterday because they were too busy. I was supposed to take him in this morning. He died in the middle of the night. I've read that antibiotics can do more harm than good for Guinea pigs. Restani had him on two antibiotics twice a day plus a solution to flush out the wound twice a day. Bottom line is, these vets don't put much effort into helping with "pocket pets" as he calls them. They treat them as if they're disposable. Only dogs and cats matter to them. I wasn't going to take my Guinea pig to him because he had failed me twice in the past, but he was the 10th pet hospital I had called. All the others that supposedly serve exotic pets were either too busy, closed for vacation, didn't have the special vet available right now, no longer had an exotic pet vet on staff....so like an idiot I went back to this vet who basically poisoned my Guinea pig with his strong antibiotics. And the lady who works with him also said she mixed one of the bad tasting meds with piña colada mix to make it taste better. I don't think that can be healthy for their delicate gut. They were too busy to take me yesterday but not too busy to take my $425 to drain his abscess. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I RETURN HERE.

Great place to bring your dog for a Doctor very inexpensive, very nice people.The staff super wonderful with the dogs.Payment plan and my dog looks forward.On coming here to see the doctor

The vet, the sole owner has old school typewriter, and two or 3 secretaries.. he's driven by MONEY ONLY.
My dog a while back had peritinites
( not sure how to spell that but it's deadly for dogs.) He would operate in a few days . My gf at the time called his father, who opted to pay for the surgery. He said at first there's no openings for anything sooner. Her father offered him an additional $100 and because of that alone, he 'suddenly ' had an opening. ! He leaves the dogs in a cage overnight unsupervised and I'd VERY careless in his work. Giving my dog a shot while talking to me and ignoring the dog, he hurt her bad and she let out a loud yelp, not phased by that. He's up there as one I'd the worst and greedy vets I've ever met . And I've met quite a liot

I have been using Restani for several years. Besides being straight forward no nonsense, and having the best staff (Dana) when my beloved bestie passed they took the time to send a condolence card ❤️❤️ talk about personable - thank you

I love them with all my heart. I trust them with the life and health of my best friend. I would trust them with my own health, too. I am reluctant to give this place a good rating because I fear it might make it harder to get an appointment. But fair is fair. They deserve the rating.

Always good experience. I've taken my two young budgies to Dr. Restati few times, he is very honest & gentle to my birds. Reasonable fees not like some places over charging. I will continue to go to him again if ever needed.

Always a good experience here. Prices are honest. You don't get grossly gouged through the heart trying to get help for your loyal pet like that veterinary chain you see all over. Parking can be a challenge if you feel you must park closer than twenty feet from the door. Otherwise you'll find a spot. So far I've been loyal to Restani-Fatima Veterinary Hospital for more years than I can remember.

dr. restani and dana really took thorough care of my senior doggies, and with kind and professional attention to them. it was certainly a big relief to have them so good at what all they do. in my 80`s, i am thankful that they will be there whenever i need them again. diane porter

Came here today as my first time to have my parakeet check up as he was sick. Used to go to Oceana before they closed down. Dr. Restani was professional and thorough with the history and the questions and concerns we had when it came to our pet. They also have more options concerning treatment and testing. Prices are more affordable here as well. We left pretty satisfied. I'll say the only con is that appointments are usually booked out 1-2 weeks in advance (not surprised since they seem awesome here) and the prepare some wait time like you are waiting in any doctors office. Still 10/10 for me though

Dr. Restani-Fatima and Dana the vet tech are so kind..He has a heart for both animals and their owners..He keeps it real and will tell you what he would do in any given situation. I am so used to money hungry vets with no emotion or heart..that is not who Dr. Restani is... he's the complete opposite.. Thank you, Dr. Restani . I'm grateful for your honesty, knowledge and expertise. I appreciate you being there for my daughter and I when we had to put our dog down. I appreciate you for allowing us to grieve and process everything. May God bless you, and Bless your practice/ business.
