I was visiting from out-of-state, certain I had a big problem. Daily city auto clinic could not work on my car so they recommended me to Jackie at K West. My Car was inspected. He fixed a minor issue free of charge!

I’m so disappointed ? with this shop. $95 for a full synthetic oil change. Herbert and his team used some generic Made in China ?? oil filter. God knows what type of oil they used. Hook screws under my hood were missing. The stereo’s code was not even set. Just a simple task they can’t do!!!! Jackie wants me to do it, really??? Even if he offered, he doesn’t realize customers are busy. After paying more than $400 just to reprogram a key. $95 for oil change. $70 at my other mechanic at The Shop in San Bruno. Herbert said they will top all fluid but when I checked, it wasn’t done! So quick to point out what’s wrong with the car which is fine but never coming back for important jobs. Not very reliable. Herbert was my mechanic in the 1990s but I’m sooo disappointed. Shop has no parking and no decent waiting area. He is charging $25 more for oil change compared to my go to mechanic. I thought I could trust him. NOT RECOMMENDED despite good reviews by others being fooled!10/30/23 update: I spoke to Herbert to address my concern. He never offered to even correct the issue. Independent shops need to step up with the competition!

I drive a 20 year old car and I’ve been bringing my car to Jackie and the team for 10 years, they’ve been able to keep my car running like new. I brought my car here for everything, power steering issues, cat converter, timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, tires, coolant leaks, power door lock issues, smog checks, brakes, oil changes, etc. I even bring my girlfriend’s Prius here. They’re really good at diagnosing issues and they’ve never tried to upsell me on anything. Major props for keeping my 20 year old car running like new.

The local Hyundai service centers told me for a diagnostic I’d have to wait 1 month for an appointment, so my aunt recommended K West Auto. I was a bit nervous taking my car somewhere other than the dealership service center but Jackie and Hubert made me feel extremely comfortable. They did an amazing job communicating the needs for servicing and work to find the best possible price. They took great care of my vehicle and their confidence made me feel very comfortable taking my Hyundai to them. I’ll definitely use them again for my vehicle service needs!

We were visiting San Francisco from Sacramento and I desperately needed an alignment. They were kind enough to fit me in this morning and got it done quickly and efficiently! Also, I think it was a reasonable price for an alignment.

I recommend them because only K West Auto Care saved my trip. Tire on my VW Tiguan went flat and this was in the middle of my trip from Cincinnati, Ohio to Las Vegas via San Francisco. They fixed the flat within 15 minutes without any appointment. Thank you so much
