I went to Home Depot at Westlake shopping center to look for a kitchen faucet recently. The stuff I needed not available anymore. Gina and Shina helped me find the alternative and ordered one for me . They're very patient and warm. Their excellent service is greatly appreciated.

Don't even think about buying door or windows or any special services from the Daly City Home Depot. They have the worst customer service. Just try to call the store and see if anyone answers and if they do after letting the phone ring for 20 minute straight they will transfer you to a department that no one works in. Management needs to get a clue or be replaced.

Home Depot sucks. Their customer service sucks. I'm completely done with them. Use Lowes!

really not surprised with the quality of service received here. They have such a huge selection of things, so whenever something needs to be done odds are they have it. The prices are reasonable, but if you need help I'd probably just do the research on your own first

Nick, the manager at this location, is useless AF. I was there to there pick up an online order at the customer service desk and was standing behind someone who was also getting help. He comes up me and says I'm not where I am supposed to line up, then directs me to where it starts. Minutes later, other people also started lining up where I originally was (there were no clear indication on where the line is supposed to start), and instead of having them line up behind me, he let's them proceeds to get help before I do. How does this make sense? ......useless.

Don't bother calling this location. They don't answer the phone. Still ringing... Still ringing...

Useless. Their text following my search made it look as if they had many bird baths. Of course, I hadn't read the fine print. I schlepped down there and they had none. I could order them, but I wanted to see and feel what I was getting. Plus, I understand they get lumber from Canada's Boreal forest, a magnificent wilderness indispensable for soaking up greenhouse gases.. Forget them.

I want to let others know about my experience with getting an estimate from The Home Depot for a laminate floor installation in a 620+ sq. ft home built in 1968. I would never have requested an estimate if all these added costs were made clear up front. There is a $50.00 fee to get an estimate, which was off putting, but I decided to pay it because they have always been great to deal with. They have signs in the store that say $2.75 Sq. Ft. COMPLETE INSTALL. Free Removal of Existing Floor, Free Haul Away of Existing Floor, Free Furniture Move, Free Floor Preparation, Free Quarter Round Trim Installation. Once I received my estimate there a many charges and potential costs that are not directly the "Install" but are required to get the floor installed and drive the installation cost up considerably. 1. Extra costs for disturbing lead paint if build built prior to 1978. Cost $908.30 2. Possible asbestos in Vinyl installed in 1990 or before, must be tested and if asbestos found removed by customer before install. Cost unknown? 3. Added cost to move bedroom set and refrigerator $192.00 4. Material delivery fee $121.00. Please consider all the hidden added costs before you spend $50.00 getting a quote from The Home Depot

I recently ordered a garage door opener with installation from Home Depot. The opener was delivered promptly within two days. Installation? Nothing. They were supposed to call me to schedule an appointment. No one called. I called the number they gave me and after waiting on hold was asked to leave a message. I did. No one called back. Left another message. No one called back. I contacted customer service. They opened a case for me but nothing happened. Contacted customer service again. They gave me a number that went to the same voicemail. No one called back. They said they would send an email to schedule for me. Again nothing. Called the local store in Daly City. They said they were emailing the installer and someone would be in touch. Still nothing.

I have a number of RYOBI tools and am very happy with their performance as a heavy using DIY guy. Not a RYOBI hater at all. Recently purchased a Wood Door Lock Installation kit. Looked like it would be very helpful to place holes and keep the hole saw and spade bit aligned during drilling. From that perspective I'd give the tool a 4+. HOWEVER, it is a good thing I've installed a few door handles and locks over time because the directions provided were the worst I've ever seen. I would have been hopelessly lost try to use them. I don't give a lot of reviews but they were so bad I felt the need to warn first timers.. I read the instruction five times (no exageration) and tossed them aside. Whomever wrote them jumped from step to step, figure to figure and left out a key step or two. After installing the door lock and strike plate I still don't know how the "auto strike locator" works. Go to you tube for help to avoid major frustration and wasted time. Again, the tool is useful for alignments with a few adlibs. FOR HD: I'll write you some instructions for $5,000 :).

Horrible people! Try Lowe's or another business instead, but skip this store! I purchased online for curbside pickup and the employee who brought my item brought something that did not match the description online and then tried to pass it off on me anyway. He said I was wrong because the sku number online was assigned to the time he held. I showed the webpage for the item, and even the video that describes the design features and a how-to, the photos and the dimensions shown online. He still said I was wrong and insisted I take what he brought. I asked for a manager. I got a supervisor, Travis, who said the same thing. I'm wrong and a sku is the all correct. No one here has half a brain cell to resolve why an item shown for sale on the website has a mismatched sku or how to find the correct item. No resolution. The mansplaining from the duo of incompetent employees was unacceptable. I reported them both for their behavior, rudeness, and trying to push off lesser items for something else sold. Neither of the people in this store I met with today should be employees of the Home Depot. completely useless, they should be fired.

I've always been supportive of Home Depot and take my kids to workshops every month, but the last few months, I've been really disappointed. I register kids workshop on Home Depot.com, but every time I go to the site, sometimes there are no goods, and sometimes there are goods but they are not given to me. Today this Saturday is even more excessive, a male employee actually told me that if I only have an email address, I can only take one handmade material, then what is the point of asking me to fill in the number of children on the website? When I was in line at Home Depot with my two kids, they handed me a handmade package. I'm very disappointed about that. What made me most angry was that another employee gave me the quantity I had filled in. The male employee actually stopped us and did not allow us to take enough quantity!

Home Depot doesn't communicate with the online service, they don't do what you paid for after they send you a confirmation email. Well ....you all know I wasn't taking all that lying down. I paid for a manual drop off it inside my pickit fence the driver refused I was on the phone with them and they agreed with him. The manager says ohh "I understand the confirmation email as it reads. It doesn't say a front yard and they can only drop it where they can fit a forklift.... please tell me where you see that.....by the way the delivery charge was $124.00.

I went to rent a box truck from them after my reservation being canceled at other HD locations. I called the night before my reservation to ensure they had a box truck as I rented, and they said yes they did and confirm in the morning. I called in the morning and again they confirmed they had one in good and working condition. I show up for my rental and the associate who helped me, Antonio, was really nice and attentive. He got everything squared away for me pretty quickly. However, he missed a major issue on the truck that ended up costing us way more time and money than we anticipated. After going through a check of the truck he said everything was good. As I was loading it up, I noticed the tire was low on air. To avoid any issues I immediately went back in and brought it to their attention. The supervisor just said "well we can't rent it then" and then said she'd to look at it. I asked if it could be fixed and she just immediately said no. After going out to look at it, she just shrugged and said she couldn't rent it. I was fully expecting a truck to be available for me to use and when I asked about other options, every other truck had an issue with it. She tried for another location but they didn't have anything'. I walked out without a truck and instead had to rent a pick up from HD at a different location which took double time for pick ups and drop offs for our move. 1. Missed major issue with the truck 2. No working trucks I like renting with HD but trying to find a truck after making a reservation and plans for moving was a complete fail
