Going overseas and need access to my safe deposit box, note on door, saying bank closed for "emergency", no other explanation given, left message on voice mail, no response 24 hours later, went to branch again today, still closed for "emergency", called Customer Service 800 number, they have my account info but nothing regarding the branch being closed, suggested I call a nearby branch for possible explanation, I did and was told branch was closed because of flooding, but they had no idea how long would be closed. You would think voicemail would inform customer branch was closed, but no, just asks to leave message and will get back by next business day. Meanwhile I have 3 days to figure out where to stash my stuff if my branch doesn't open by then, a major worry, anxiety with no clear alternative or guidance from US Bank, avoid!

Horrible service by a banker Justin Cresci. Wasting my time to find the incorrect charge for $2 on my U.S. bank card for more than an hour and half. That was Ridiculous. Confused Frustrated and Disappointed. And I just sat there and can't even ask him any questions. I'm not sure did they went through my background check or credit score to correct that $2 mischarge for an hour and half!!!

Poor players. After we switched banks they lowered our credit card limit from 7K to just $500. Then they bombarded us with mail offers. They have no way to opt out of this easily so we will have to contact the feds to do this.

The older lady with blondish grey hair and face full of makeup is horrible. If you encounter her upon entering this bank, talk to somebody else.

I deposited my money to my checking and the teller told me that my cash money is short for $25. I was disappointed and I felt like something is wrong and the teller was dishonest. I didn't not say anything because Im in hurry to pick up kid from school. but again that needs to be investigated. Maybe it happened so client and they just get away with it . not happy . I should have went to my other bank on that day.

I always regret coming here. End up standing in line for 20 mins. One teller plenty of workers standing around. Nobody cares. Makes me upset. I do not understand this place. Been like this for years. 20 mins later ..... I have finished my transaction. Helped by a nice man named Robert who did his job.

They screwed me over with $400 of overdraft. I didn't even signed up for it. They are refusing to remove it. That's fine and dandy tho, cause I am the one laughing. I had scheduled my direct deposits and cancelled it, including a $220,000 deposit set to occur on August 2018. They just let go of quarter of million for $400 of overdraft. How d*** is that? I bet Bank of the West is thrilled to have my business.

I opened an account to be able to refinance my house. They suggested to put $50.00. The refi didn't push through. After 2 months they started charging me$19.95/mo for fees. Then they opened a reserve line of credit of $1000.00 without my consent and started getting the money there to cover for the monthly fees. I complained and they reversed some but not all. I finally decided to close the account to be able to get some left before losing everything and end up owing more money due to fees that they didn't disclose to me when I opened the account. I only got $23.88 out of my $50.00 plus stress and lost time from dealing with them. Don't open any account with US Bank ... They will just give you stress and get your money.!!

Wonderful service here! I walked in and had to speak with a banker and the teller told me that she would let someone know I was waiting. A banker came up to me within 3 minutes! He was very nice and knew the answers to all of my questions. I came over from Citibank where the service was always terrible so this was a great thing to see! The banker, John, was very friendly and didn't mind the fact I had so many questions. My mother also accompanied me for this transaction to make sure I was doing everything correct and my mother was highly impressed by him. John explained everything thoroughly to myself and my mother about how the accounts work. So happy to be at U.S. Bank now! Thank you for the great service!

this is the worst bank ever. I tried to open a HELOC there. Long story short, the staff was not responsible, incompetent, never responded to phone calls messages or emails, never called back when they said they would. It is alarming how lacking services are at this branch. My application sat stagnant for 2 months with no one telling me, no following up whatsoever, even when I tried repeatedly to ask for status.

I had an issue with my Gift Card that was issued by US Bank. Be wary of any Gift Promotions from US Bank as they will deduct fees for calling customer service. I talked with the Branch Manager and she said she would look into it. I told her not to call customer service as they would charge me money for calling. The Branch Manager Carol called and they deducted a fee from my gift card and Carol said that they would take care of it if there was an additional fee deducted. Carol said she would call me when she had taken care of the fee on my account. Carol never called me back and when I called her - she was very rude with me for bothering her. When I looked my account, US Bank charged me instead of crediting me. Carol is the older blond lady with the stocky build. The Point of this review is beware of US Bank and there Gift Card Promotions. They will make go through hoops to correct their mistakes and credit you back when it is rightfully yours.
