The cashiers at this Walgreens location are rude. The worst service you can get. They rudely kept telling people to 'form one line on one side of the aisle' when they didn't have a sign/ indication for it and when suggested to put a sign, the look of disgust was amazing.

Horrible customer service in pharmacy. Tried to get prescription filled through workers comp. they were sending to wrong dept. & when we tried to call them to get them the correct information we were transferred multiple times, eventually reaching the rudest human on the planet. Person we were talking to put us on hold, didnt say she was transferring to another person, when she picked up my daughter told her we were on hold for another person and she says you called me,how am i supposed to help you if you dont say what you want? She explains whats happening and this rude manager keeps telling her how they cant change anything(like to the right phone number) she was rude, terse and condescending and when my daughter told her she didnt need to be so rude and condescending she was worse, she then said they would not fill my daughter's prescription and shed have to go elsewhere. I called back to complain and turns out shes the pharmacy manager and she told a lot of lies about how my daughter was too upset and medicated to understand

This is the Walgreens I shop at most of the time, located in the Westlake shopping center, so, conveniently located where I do most of my basic shopping in the evenings and usually stop here and Target and sometimes at the Trader Joes, after making my daily stop at Safeway. The store itself is fine and one of the bigger Walgreens stores with more items than a Walgreens in the city. The staff are generally nice, especially Trang who has a super personality and always goes out her way to say nice things and please her regular customers who check out in the cosmetics register. The shoplifting problem in this area is amongst the worst at this store and is frustrating to watch. Some of the prices are exorbitant compared to other stores and Amazon, but the one thing that really bugs me about this store is that the Cashiers almost never pay attention to when a very long line forms, without calling for an IC3! that and the fact that they imposed this 'one line' rule where everyone is to line up somewhere between check stands one and two and even put up a sign that says "One line starts here" but have since removed it, but the cashiers don't pay enough attention to their own rule and there is no consistency on that! I don't even know how this rule is supposed to benefit anyone or what purpose it serves; just confuses people and some people even get into arguments over who is next in line.

Let's start with what I like: Open 24 hours However, this is one of the worst places to have your doctor send a prescription. There's usually a shortage of pharmacists, and a long line ensues, with only one functioning counter that tries to service several patients. If you need a consultation after pickup, good luck, as there is another line and often the pharmacist isn't around, so be prepared to wait in front of an empty window. I have empathy for the employees, as they stated they are short staffed, but that's a problem for the corporation to solve. Making customers wait 30 mins in line, only to tell them their prescription isn't ready, and then to stand in the line again is a colossal waste of everyone's time. What we need is a better check-in and pick-up system that uses technology (a phone or a kiosk). To be fair, the overworked, under appreciated employees are nice, and struggling because of Walgreens corporations cost-focussed mismanaged HR priorities.

We went to Walgreens to pick up medicine about one hour ago. We found the people here are very friendly, working hard and efficiently. In particular, Grace, Bernard and Tran etc are very warm, responsible and very patient. We really appreciate their excellent service.

Horrible! Pharmacist Saba - most incompetent egomaniac pharmacist ever! Absolutely incredible! Went in person, was given wrong medication after having verified that it was available for pick up. I get home and have to call back no less that 12 times to get them to help but to no avail - first doesn't know what medication should be available, then doesn't let me talk to tech who had just told me name of medication; I have to call back to speak to the store manager to let me talk to the tech to get the name of the medication; the tech is afraid to talk to me because she is intimidated by pharmacist who still insists she knows best what is going on. Finally the tech gives the name of medication, then transfers to pharmacist who hangs up on me. Again have to call back the store manager to get me to pharmacy because they are not picking up. Finally pharmacist Saba attempts to process medication but then says her computer is too slow and that I should call in the morning and hangs up. Again, I have to ask store manager to go help pharmacist Saba with the computer, she then again hangs up on me. And, same process repeats several times- finally computer processed and says she'll check if medication is in stock (which had previously been verified was in stock and ready for me to pick up - and again pharmacist Saba hangs up on me. I call yet again and go through store manager because Saba is not picking up in pharmacy or pick up and hanging up. Now pharmacist Saba says they don't have medication in stock. It's been more than two hours - never in my life have I ever experienced such outright malicious incompetence! Absolutely horrifying!

Walgreens is suppose to be open 24/7! Don't be fooled. Last night, I had trying meds for my post op pain control but I could get any person to answer the phones. I was in the hospital trying to assure, I have the meds for severe pain. I was on "hold", for the 2 customers ahead for 25 mins. I was then told they were 24/7 closing early! This is not the first time that this 24/7!closes early. I called several times to get updates from anyone but again the "hold time for 1 customer ahead" were absurd! Finally I get a real person, can't give me any information about the "real pharmacy hours today". Now, at home, I am so stressed that my son in law waiting for the prescription that was sent at 6 and is still not done at 9:30. He is told to wait or he will not be able to go the meds. 9:50 he is told that they can not release to him. I sent the photos of the Home Orders Post Op care. They said they are closing at 10 pm. I don't what my son in law, the medication were release to him. Customer service at this location has never been great but the 24/7 has kept me as a customer. I gave 2 stars because a previous time, a female was kind that to rush a home delivery of meds that were supposed to have picked up. If you have to use this Walgreen WestLake location, VERIFY THE OPEN HOUR! Also, their in store wait line is horrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WALGREENS LOCATION. I hope this review spares you stress

This is for the pharmacy ONLY. Rude customer service. The pharmacist or lady answering the phone was not helpful and had a condescending tone when asked about transferring meds to their location. It's no one's fault you're behind on filling prescriptions. They need to hire better employees and management to run this pharmacy. There is ALWAYS a long wait time for medication, refills, and standing in line!

Worst pharmacy experience ever. You wait in line for Pharmacy drop off. You gave the person the medication as well as insurance information. She tells you that she will expedite the process. Hoping it will be faster. So you wait in the pick up line. Then, once you are in pick up line, they can't find your information so they send you back to drop off line. I had to do the process again. For some odd reason, these people are running around as if they need two people to help one customer. This place is a mess. I don't even know how they are still operating. This Walgreen was my go to when I was younger but now, it was a mistake sending my meds here. You have people complaining left and right and yet management doesn't do anything about it. Hire more staffing and actually train them so you don't have two technicians helping one customers.

Worst pharmacy experience. Worst ever managers to run the store with no customer service skills at all. They don't know how to deal with customers. They need training!!!

Damn dude!! This is a rating about the pharmacy. This dept is crazy understaffed!!! No one should have to wait over 1 hour in line for medicine that is on the shelf ready to take home. Because they are understaffed they lose their cool rapidly and are on edge. Walgreens corp, do better!!

I am absolutely livid and disgusted with the abysmal customer service provided by Walgreens in their pharmacy department. It is beyond comprehension how they can consistently put customers on hold for hours, only to hang up without even bothering to speak to someone. This experience, which seems to happen every single time, is nothing short of shockingly evil and vile. It is utterly disrespectful and shows a complete lack of regard for their customers' time and well-being. We are not just faceless entities, but human beings who deserve to be treated with basic decency and respect. But what truly infuriates me is the fact that they have the audacity to hang up without even addressing the issue. It's as if they believe our concerns are insignificant and unworthy of their attention. This level of incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction is simply unacceptable. Walgreens needs to wake up and realize that they are in the service industry. Their primary goal should be to serve their customers, not to frustrate and infuriate them. It is high time they make some serious changes for the better. Improving customer service in the pharmacy department should be their top priority. They need to hire more staff to handle the workload and ensure that customers are not left waiting for hours on end. Implementing a more efficient call system, where customers can leave their contact information and receive a call back, would also be a step in the right direction. Furthermore, Walgreens must invest in proper training for their employees. They need to instill a CULTURE OF EMPATHY, UNDERSTANDING, and GENUINE CARE for their customers. It is not enough to simply have people manning the phones; they need to be equipped with the skills and knowledge to address customer concerns effectively and efficiently. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and receive the service they rightfully expect!!!

I'm waiting in line right now for a prescription and have been for 30 min. The line behind me is at least 15 people deep. It can be like this no matter what time of day. They simply do not have the bandwidth to handle the demand and never do. It's the worst pharmacy I've ever experienced, and I'm not exaggerating.

This is the pharmacy where prescriptions go to die. I waited 5 hours before I called and asked where my strep throat medication was. They said they hadn't started working on it yet and didn't know when it would be done or if it would even be done today. I waited another 2 hours then transferred it elsewhere. Strep throat feels like swallowing glass btw. Would've been nice to have meds for it...

Awful customer service. Told our prescription would be ready at 445pm. Went there at 630... it's 730pm, still waiting. Called the Walgreens in Marin county, they said they would fill it as she got off the phone. Seems like Westlake has incompetent pharmacist that didn't know how to formulate the wrong dosage.
