The rudest customer service, i came in to get some torque converter bolts and i didn't care what the brand says i just needed them because i knew they fit. Neo was the first to help us, he didn't even know how to spell torque so he couldn't find the torque converter bolts until i showed him a screenshot of the actual part on the autozone website. He directed me down the isle to the bolts and when we got to the register my gf's dad had pointed out that it was gm and he didn't know if it would fit but i said i'd rather get them then chance not getting them. But he kept pointing out it said gm. Neo didn't ring me up and kept giving me attitude and saying snarky stuff like "if it doesn't fit then don't get it" or mocking us with sarcasm saying "yea i'd go with common knowledge, it says gm so it definitely only fits gm." Kept calling me a little punk when i told him i wasn't liking his attitude. He was downright weird and only acknowledged my girlfriend which was weird because he didn't stop talking to her last time. pervert

This AutoZone was by far the best AutoZone I have ever been to. The manager Hamid was so helpful and went above and beyond in helping me with not just my questions but with my problems as well. If you need to go to a AutoZone drive the extra miles and go to this store in Dana Point. You will not be disappointed.

I am so thankful yo Mr Danny at the Auto Zone store in Dana Point for helping me this morning with my auto needs. He helped replace the key’s battery and filling up the coolant solution in my car. He did that with his care and his heart to help a customer like me who knows nothing about car!I am thankful to be served by him.SincerelyAileen

I was here before and customer service was great. I needed to get wind shield wipers and they helped me install it too. Came back again today for coolant fluid and Danny was amazing. He helped my mom fill the coolant tank and went above and beyond. Thank you autozone!

José is the best! Part of my engine shield came off while driving on the freeway, causing it to drag and make loud screeching noises. Since mine was metal not plastic I couldn’t just rip it off and being in a leg brace post ACL and Meniscus surgery I was unable to get underneath the car. I had attempted a couple places before hand, but they said I had to go to the dealer no one else would be able to take it off and tried to help in the meantime by sticking the detached piece underneath something else, but it didn’t work or either and then going to the dealer but it was a Sunday (8/27) so all the mechanics had left and no one else there could help out. Fortunately enough I was able to get to Autozone and José came to the rescue! Instead of just saying to wait for the dealer tomorrow or he couldn’t help he took his time to assist me and said he’d try to get it off. He manually jacked the car up and got underneath my car to be able to take off the entire engine shied. Mind you it was very hot well over 85° and he was in the sun the entire time while having to go from one side to the other manually jacking up the car putting it back getting all of the other clips/screws off. He went above and beyond to help me, could’ve easily stopped when the 1st jack wasn’t able to lift up the car high enough reach the clips but he found a way by getting another one todo the job. If it wasn’t for José I would’ve been stuck in that area over 70miles away from home because it wouldn’t have been safe to drive the car in the condition it was on the freeway. I hope his managers see this and give him a raise/promotion because he deserves it! A hard worker and kind soul that I was blessed to cross paths with ??

Bought a Duralast battery about 1 year ago. I come to this location to have them test my battery. It shows failed on there meter. We go inside for a replacement (autozone brags heavy on there 3 year free replacement). There system shows no record of me ever buying this battery. They tell me since they cannot verify I bought it, they are now are not going to replace it for me. *Note you can only buy duralast at autozone (they are the makers of the battery). So whatever guy initially sold me the battery never added it to my account and therefore autozone assumes I got this battery off the street or with the purchase of the vehicle, and I bought my vehicle in 2017 so 100% not the case. I will never purchase from autozone again. I have been a customer for about 15 years and this is how I am treated. I feel very scammed.

We are from out of town and our car battery was dead. I went to AutoZone and was immediately greeted with a smile from an employee named Neil who was helping another customer at the counter. I waited for the next person to help me who was the store manager (I can't remember his name). He was friendly and very helpful. He helped me figure out what battery would be best for the climate where we live. He even came out and looked at our current battery before our purchase. I was concerned about installation and being able to lift the battery. The store manager kindly stated that they would install the battery for me and take out the old one. Neil a customer service rep carefully took out our current battery and then installed our new battery. Neil was fantastic!! He knew what he was doing, he put my mind at ease with his knowledge and expertise of battery installation and gave me advice for future maintenance. A huge 5 stars to AutoZone for their expertise and help today and another huge 5 stars for Neil and his kindness to us today as he installed our new battery. If you need a new battery don't hesitate and go to AutoZone, especially if you are in the Dana Point area. Neil and the store manager were so kind, respectful, and knowledgable. Thank you! Thank you! The people who worked here were very helpful! My boyfriend and I got in a rear end accident on our way to San Diego and had to stop to figure out how to secure the hood shut. A worker looked at our car, and made some suggestions and helped us find the best easy solution: zip ties! Thank you!

Great service. Stopped by to get brake pads for my car, was not sure what type or brand to get. The gentlemen there, helped me in selecting the right product. I appreciated their expertise and patience with me as he took time to explain and show me which product would be the best. I will go back again.
