Capistrano Beach Parking offers ample paid parking (via app) near a thin strip of beach that alternates between sand and rocks. The beach is great for walking, with plenty of room for laying out towels and picnic tables. While the beach is very clean, the sandbags are not effectively preserving the shoreline from high tide damage. This off-the-beaten-path beach location provides a quick stop for a peaceful beach walk and rock collecting, away from the crowds.
