I first transitioned to JFFD after my vet recommended it for my senior dog who had pancreatitis and needed a low fat diet. I was able to give my dog a quality life for almost a year and a half after being diagnosed thanks to this food. I would bounce between Hepatic Support (Rx needed) and the Fish and Sweet Potato - whichever was available because they were often out of Hepatic at the time. Fast forward to the next senior dog we adopted and I decided to also put him on the fish and sweet potato after he began having gastrointestinal issues from another company's chicken blend. I learned that beef and poultry can be an allergen to dogs. I tried the venison JFFD had, but it upset his stomach. Thankfully the fish and sweet potato was a success, as it was for me before. Since moving to the area I was so happy to have this store nearby. They always have what I need in stock and product quality never disappoints. Previously I would purchase JFFD at Petco but often found insane amounts of crystalized ice (almost like freezer burn), so when I defrosted the food it was extremely watery and liquidy. I have not had that problem at this store and feel quality control is much better here.

I have always gotten excellent service there , and advice on what to feed my dog when needed . Barbara is amazing ! My dog loves the food and I can totally see a difference in her activity level ! Love the new store !

The customer service here is awesome! Super helpful and informative! I started my dogs on this food as they get fickle every so often. One dog lives this food and one is okay with it. I have them in Venison and squash. I get it delivered and the delivery is prompt. I may try a different flavor for my picky guy.

I really love the customer service at JFFD and they truly care about our pets. My slightly overweight and older dog has a sensitive stomach and they worked with me to get him on the right program. When something didn't agree with his stomach, they allowed me to exchange it for something else (even an open package). They even had the food tested to ensure it was not on their end but just my dog's stomach (which it was). My dog loves their food and I love their customer service! Thank you.

My dogs have been on this food for the better part of a decade. I've always been happy with them, but wanted to give credit where credit is due. This is one of the best companies out there right now. Their customer service is second to none and the happy healthy dogs are testament to quality of the product. I had an issue that caused me to be out of town at time of usual delivery of my dogs food. I was travelling and lost service when explaining the situation to the team. The food was delivered to my house and then picked up and brought back to the store for later delivery as my plight was relayed to the closest store.. Have you ever heard of a company coming back on their dime to pick up the product and ship again at a later date? Yeah, me neither. I'm gobsmacked by that. Thank you Nicole and team, I'll never buy any pet product from anyone else.

Store is never open when it says it will be and to add insult to injury I have driven to the store and they will be gone to lunch. If you can catch them open they don’t have half the items you need almost every time. If you call customer service you will be on hold for at least 10-15 minutes. If you want to order online forget it you’ll have the same issue they are almost always out of stock. I’ve given up you lost a loyal customer.

This stord is never open when it is supposed to be!! And when they are they act like their doing you a favour letting you spend your money there. I know I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars at Just food for dogs. But no more good bye

"Just Food for Dogs" should be renamed "Just Food for Nobody's Dog" because they've been out of food for weeks, if not months! Like most small businesses, they've blamed COVID for their misfortune of the inability to obtain fresh food ingredients. Sure?! Hard to believe JFFD can stay in business when they have no food some days, and others, only one flavor/type. Ironically they have a newish multi-million dollar contract with PetSmart nation wide and cannot provide their brick and mortar locations with adequate products to sell. They promise to get in a batch/ delivery and never do; They promise they will call with food updates and never do; They promise to take care of their customers and once again, never do. The list of bad experiences is a result of no leadership, no management, poor customer service and lack of communication between their headquarters and those employees working at their stores. It is no wonder why this Capo Beach location has a high turnover rate because they're tired of customers complaining to them! Needless to say, I've even witnessed this particular location selling wholesale bulk food to a veterinary office rep at nearly half off what a regular consumer would normally pay. Unprofessional service if you ask me! JFFD is on their way down the toilet if they continue this pattern as I will be taking my business to Farmers Dog. Good riddance!

They are never open and they have a sign saying they are open and then the door is locked. It seems to be getting worse the last few weeks. What is going on? Did they get new personal or what? They use to answe the phone, and now they don't even answer the phone.. Very inconvenient.

I have had a repeat delivery good service with no problems, and then the food stopped coming. I called customer service they said I would have it in 2 days-still don’t have it. Called again and they promised a call back, still have no heard from anyone. I’ve emailed them twice- no response. I’ve called customer service twice (after 35 minute hold times) no resolution. I still don’t have dog food and they have my money! Terrible service and unreliable. I’m mad and my dogs are even matter. Looks like I’ll have to find another option..
