I can't say enough good things about Kenny's music. Kimberly and Kenny have years of combined experience in the music trade, Talk to them before you buy of trade. You'll be glad you did. They have a fantastic teaching staff comprised of veteran professionals-- and happy students of all ages. Kenny's skills as an instrument repairman are top-notch. Five stars!

We've been with Kenny's music for both musical equipment as well music lessons for our kids since 2015. Kenny and Kimberly are amazing people not just for music but for the community. My kids went back for more lessons even after finishing school to push a bit further. Wonderful folks. Great location.

The store is a charming converted Dana Point cottage. The owner couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We sat on the comfy couch and chatted for a long time about the history of the store and how they could help us restore and restring our guitar. Very encouraging and we can't wait to go back for a guitar lesson or two!

The sweetest people!!!!! Kimberley not only helped me restring my ukulele, but she went the extra mile to clean salt and super glue stains I had on my uke, fix the zippers to my carrier bag and called me to ask how I'd like my uke tuned .... And she got it done fast and for an extremely reasonable price. Would highly recommend supporting this local music shop full of heart and soul, the owners really do care about their community and provide the best service. Genuinely a gem! Thank you so much for everything!

If you're looking to have your guitar setup don't hesitate to bring it in to Kenny's. Kimberly helped me with the questions I had and a few days later my guitar now plays like a much more expensive rig now. Kenny explained everything he did to it and the problems it had. So much better! They also have a nice selection of instruments for the upcoming holiday, so be it a new guitar, amp or just a new set of strings (stocking stuffers) you'll be good here! The owners Kenny and Kimberly are very friendly and made me feel like family, glad I made it in thru a recommendation. I'll see you guys next time, thank you and happy holidays!

He has a ton of experience teaching and knows how to explain musical concepts so that even a hack like me can understand! Kimberly who runs the shop is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Kenny is the man, Kimberly is the sweetest woman ever. I've always grown up in the area and have been there only for strings and smaller items, however Kimberly has known me by name since i was 13 and I had not even know hers til a year ago or so. Kenny fixed the intonation on my 80s strat that guitar center absolutely f***** up and Kenny did his magic. Tell Kenny what you play and he'll set you up for a great deal! I hope this economy doesn't ruin this mom pop shop because this is the only music store in south OC. Ps sorry I made you put 11s on my strat kenny, maybe in a few years I'll be less stubborn and move to 10s Ha!
