This place is the reason why my jewelry making skills have skyrocketed. I can spend all day in here, I'm so sorry if I only buy a few things but I just can't help but stare and touch all of those BEAUTIFUL stones!! I've learned so much about different semi precious gems through this store, as the woman who owns it has an insane collection of strands of things you've never even seen before! And i can't help but notice she has different strands of things, even the same beads, every time I visit. Speaking of this woman, who I'm assuming is the owner, she is a pleasant, beautiful woman who knows her craft VERY well. I love it here. I wish I could go here every single day. As soon as I hit the lottery or something, this is my first stop!!! I love you OC Beads! I do splurge sometimes so here are some of the gorgeous stones I've bought from here. There's laramar, Morganite, blue Moonstone (expensive but worth every penny), pink opals, LOTS of rhodonite (my favorite) and various pendants. I really really love this store very much!

I was creatively stumped. My daughter wanted to use the earrings I wore at my wedding as buttons on her wedding gown. Mishi looked at them, took about 30 seconds and said "Why don't we try this?" She bent the post back to make a loop, even adding hardening glue so the thread can't slip out. Genius! No charge. Very, very kind and left this mother of the bride eternally grateful.

This is a message for the owner. Whoever you had working today (10/5/22)was VERY rude to my wife and kids when they came in. Despite no other customers in the store she was incredibly rude and condescending. We hope this isn’t the norm given all the other excellent reviews.

This is such a beautiful store. I went here for the first time with my friend while we were visiting and we absolutely adored the personality and character this store has. Any bead you can imagine is in this store, each with a unique story behind it. The employee was very kind and was very willing to tell us about the beads and where they came from. The beads are very reasonably priced for how beautiful they are and I wish I had visited earlier!

Visited this bead store when I was in the area and was continuing my month-long search for a bead store which offered what I was looking for; a variety of 11/0 round seed beads in generous quantities.While they did sell Czech seed beads by the hank in the back, it was not what I was looking for. Needless to say, this store did not have what I originally sought, but what they did have was a plethora of beads, gems, crystals, and everything in between when it came to unique and eye-catching jewelry.The store is small, but don't be fooled, it is densely packed to the point where you got to skirt your way around some display tables to get around the store.So many options that would make a beader searching for something different and unique very happy.⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 stars!

This is one of the best bead stores I've ever been in. Such a huge selection and very unique beads. Very organized. Best to come early due to limited parking in the back. The owner does a great job with stocking the shop. The prices are reasonable.

Came in looking for some good deals on beads and this place was NOT it.. it's expensive but the variety is immense and the owner is friendly and approachable enough that you may ask for specific beads you're looking for. I saw a few beads that were almost twice the price as Etsy, and I thought Etsy was pricey. It's definitely 'Dana Point prices'. If you've got money to burn, and only making a few little things, this place would be perfect. But not for starving artists like myself. I am better off in LA in the fashion district. I did find some beads I haven't quite seen in awhile. It looks like they offer classes as well, might be worth checking out for the locals.

Coolest shop in Dana! Especially if your into crystals and making your own custom jewelry! The pieces in there are works of art! Great prices and great staff too! I bought to pieces of carnelian! One is hand painted with an eye! So cool!

This bead shop absolutely blew me away. I didn't expect it to be as incredible as it truly is. Ive been to many bead stores throughout the years and feel this place is really special and has such high quality offerings and is meticulously organized. What I loved the most is that they had amazing quality Gemstone beads in a variety of cuts and sizes (Labradorite, moonstone, lapis, amethyst, rose quartz..etc.) you name it they have it.. whether you want a more raw natural gemstone bead or smooth etc. Yes, it's definitely pricier..but that's because the quality is unmatched. A place like Hobby Lobby or Michaels can't compare. They had the most beautiful strand of Labradorite beads that I can't stop thinking about (the blue flash of the stones were so gorgeous) I purchased a smaller Labradorite bead strand but may have to go back for the bigger ones. I just didn't expect to see that kind of quality Gemstones. I can't wait to go back with my daughter soon! Highly recommend!
