Strand Vista Park offers a stunning ocean view, but visitors should be prepared for a challenging return climb from the beach. The steep roadway and numerous stairs on either side of the parking lot provide access to the clean and quiet beach. While the funicular was under maintenance, the hike down and up can be challenging for some. However, the beach is great for surfing, swimming, and enjoying the sunset, with ample free parking available. The park is perfect for a small setup, but the multiple flights of stairs to reach the beach should be considered. Overall, Strand Vista Park provides an amazing beach experience with beautiful views.
Very nice overlook. The beach is accessible through private properties, down (and up) about 200 stairs. Probably should have checked out a more accessible beach for sunset.

Only used the parking lot to have closer walking access to the beach and to hike to the caves. Beautiful beach and caves! Got to see a SpaceX flight from the parking lot just after dark.

Free parking! Beautiful beach. No Wheel chair access. Lots of stairs!
