Naida Always did my hair so beautifully. My hair was finally long and getting to be all one length. I called to get the very ends cut and that was it. I requested Naida and they gave me a girl named Taylor who cut my hair 3 inches or so shorter than I asked. She also kept insisting to cut it a different way than I wanted it to be, after I already said what I wanted. I’m absolutely devastated about my haircut and I had a lot of faith in you guys and trusted you guys with my hair. I can’t explain how awful it feels to get a terrible haircut especially when I asked for a VERY simple cut . The very ends. I can’t believe how short my hair is now compared to what it used to be. It took me years to grow it that long. I’m so angry.Service: Haircut

Stopped in to see if this Aveda salon had any travel sizes of the Control Force hairspray since it is a discontinued item by Aveda. Asked the price, she said $13 or $14. I was looking at the products and found $10 pricing on them. She said no, pricing went up a couple days ago. I said, no, it says $10. Majority of stores would honor this $10 but she would not. I purchased anyway due to upcoming travel but NOT COOL at all. As an owner of an Aveda salon myself, my employees would be instructed to honor pricing, old or new, that is published online or on the products.

Color turned out good first visit - second visit I did notice a few missed spots where they didn’t get covered after going home. By my 3/4th visit I kept getting blonder because she stated color had to be lifted first ( goal was to go ash and blend in gray growth w dark roots ) Each visit I just kept getting lighter instead of the gray - another visit the back of my $200 silk blouse got bleached out from all the coloring that washed on my back during the shampoo at no time did they ever offered to compensate for it . After every visit there was no wow factor to my hair and the coloring just kept getting worse . Hana doesn’t return phone calls or text messages in a reasonable time - and instead of saying she couldn’t do it she just said I she didn’t think I’d be happy with her services I wish I knew that before I spent hundreds there- Thank God I already found a color specialist Add another salon who got it right the first time thank you!Services: Highlights

Highly recommend Kim Sudakoff at Sundara Salon. I moved to California 5 years ago. I tried six different salons before discovering Kim at Sundara. I have curly and very frizzy hair and Kim has been able to tame it and give me a cut that is attractive to my face shape and is also receiving many compliments! I feel like a new person. Not only is she professional but also a good listener to my wants, flexible to my schedule and as sweet as can be. I'm getting up there in age and she makes me feel like I'm back in my 30's. Kim has also recommended excellent hair products when I ask. No pressure to buy, but everything she recommends has helped me maintain my hair at home. Thank you Kim and Sundara for making me feel young again!

I love my stylist Megan. She truly listens and gives me the cut we talked about. She's attentive to the cut but is also so relaxed friendly and open. The check-in gals are always friendly and offer their delicious tea, etc. I love the atmosphere.

Neyda was incredible!!! The Brazilian blowout she did left my hair silky smooth. I couldn't believe my hair would ever look this good. The highlights she added were just perfect too. I wanted something that looked like I did my hair everyday when in fact it just gets lucky when I wash it. She delivered everything I could've asked for and more!! I will definitely be recommending her to everyone I know.

Kim Sudakoff is our stylist at Sundara. She is a gem. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and professional, she is caring as well. My husband has curly hair and it's always been a challenge for stylists. Kim managed to give him an amazing cut quickly and skillfully. I have been getting my hair styled and colored by Kim S. for the past four years and there has never been a time where I do not get compliments after leaving the salon. You always feel welcome when you enter the salon and Angie, the owner, is incredibly professional and caring as well. ~ Maureen & Rich Aquilina

Thank you for using sun in on my hair. It's ruined. I came here for a shampoo blow dry. I asked to see kimmie who is brunette. I was given kims number who is blonde. When arriving I knew it was the wrong stylist but chose to move forward, as not to be rude and cancel. This is an AVEDA salon, who exclusively uses aveda products only. During my blow dry I witnessed Kim, spray my wet hair down with a "It's a ten blonde color changing spray" I came home to find my scalp hot and burning, had to wash it out. Unfortunately the tone and texture of my hair is changed and not in a good way. I didn't consent nor authorize Kim to use a "sun in" product on my natural hair. I stated just shampoo blow dry no color services performed. It was $55 to have my scalp burned and hair color changed and damaged because the stylist felt it was necessary to bring non aveda products from home and use on my hair. She turned me away from the mirror- first red flag. I watched her spray a it's a ten yellow bottle into my hair. I thought it was leave in conditioner. When googling it online I saw it was a blonde color changing product. I am allergic to this product and my scalp is now warm to the touch. I didn't have scalp irritation prior to my appointment. Why would an aveda salon, exclusively aveda, use sun in on a clients hair, when they came in for a shampoo and blow dry? Why would you do that to someone? Highly disrespectful and now my scalp is left with allergy issues While the owner/manager is a nice woman, this is inappropriate. The manager told me Kim s broke aveda policy by using non aveda products during a service I paid for the was only supposed to use aveda product. Not one aveda product was used prior to the blow dry. One was a yellow it's a ten color changing spray, and the second used was a purple it's a ten spray. Neither of those is aveda, I'm allergic to that. I can't imagine what she would have done to me if I booked a cut or color service with her. How is it that my hair color is completely changed and looks horrible yellow and stringy, over a shampoo and blow dry? Because she blow dried my hair with a cheap lightening agent. My scalp being hot is just adding insult to injury. The front desk girl with the braids gave me the wrong stylists number, claiming she gave me kimmie g number who has long brown hair. Not blonde hair in two buns on top of her head. I wish I did not come in.
