i normally HATE the post office and i never write reviews but today i decided to. been to this location probably 5 times (it's not the closest one to me) but every time i go in is such a good experience. the people who work in there are so nice and helpful. i know absolutely nothing about mailing things and have anxiety every time i need to mail something out. but the men in there make me feel comfortable and always help me out. skip the dana point location and drive the extra mile or two. thanks guys!

Was happy that this location was open late for self service kiosk. Others have shit their doors at 8pm due to homelessness issues and mail box theft. Clean and everything was working

The office typically takes their sweet time with processing everything. Want to send something that has lithium batteries? Too bad, Thats illegal with usps... The delivery staff have recently just given up on quality. I've a beautiful video of an "attempted delivery" where the package delivery man waited a full 10 seconds before leaving with my package. Now I'm on the phone with amazon and attempting to get my package shipped through literally any other shipping provider as USPS.

They lost a package worth 200 and when I asked them to help they said they couldn't because I didn't have a tracking number. But I was never given a tracking number or receipt and it was a prepaid label. Instead of at least trying to help they just said no and told me it wasn't their problem that they didn't give me a tracking number or receipt or the fact they misplaced my package. I got online to their site and see they could have looked up the package without the tracking number simply using the address I sent it to. And their management team ended up helping me. So note to self: customer service is lacking, overall corporation higher up is willing to help. I work in customer service too for a big corporation and fyi, even if you specifically can't help in that moment at least SUGGEST an inquiry form or a person higher up to help. It's not on me that you misplaced my package and didn't give me a receipt. That's on you. So thank you USPS corporation and thanks for nothing this particular store.

Their employees are nice at times, however this isn't the case. When I was told the package I sent out over a week ago suppose to arrive in Pennsylvania on the twentieth. It's just arriving there today. Thank god I keep in contact with my client about this problem. I make handmade plush dolls and do commissions, and getting the package to the customer on the day it's suppose to be on along with giving them the tracking number in case a problem like this ever happens. Plus I've tried doing their survey site it won't work for beans. And my family wondered why I go to San Clemente, at least they know what their doing over there instant of this lazy snails pace they call a post office.

Service is marginal.. same as every other P.O. office I've been to. Capo Beach location is small, poor parking. Lines tend to be shorter than at Dana Point in my experience so if it's convenient to my other errands I'll stop by here.

How is this post office still in business? horrible service! Stopped to mail packages was greeted by a man named John who has no customer service skills. The man has a bad temper and anger problems

John at this location was awesome! He made hand cancelling my wedding invitations a breeze. He didn't look annoyed or bothered when I told him I had 60 to do. He was very helpful and did it all with a smile, something you don't find at all post offices. Earlier I walked out of another post office because this lady wanted me to put my envelopes in a basket and they were going to ship it out to get hand cancelled, no way!! I wanted it done in front of me. John also doesn't overly ink the stamp so less chance of bleeding from one envelope to another. Thank you John so much!!!!

The nicest people work at the Capistrano Beach post office. It is always my first choice when I need to see a person.

I've never had a good experience at this post office. Street parking is miserable. Service, in my experience, has usually been slow. The last time I went there, I had to wait 40 min. to mail a package. Try to avoid, if possible.
