tried to make an exchange coz the item has quality issues, the lady didn’t show empathy and kept disrupting me when I was talking. She seems like she’s just doing her work but doesn’t care about anything else. The Walnut Creek one seems provide better service.

While I love Anthropologie the vibe of this store is off. Customer service is hit or miss. I went in a few weeks ago to return a sweater I had bought online. No where online or in receipt of said sweater did it say no refunds. The clerk argued with me and acted like she was doing me a favor taking it back. Did I mention the security tag was still attached. If I had kept it I would have to drive all the way there to get it off. Seems like with the prices they charge they need to remember to be more pleasant to the customers who shop there.

Worst customer service, with no respect toward their customers. I was treated poorly for a return, after waiting for the employee to come help me while she was restocking a shelf right next to the cashier area and could clearly me waiting in line. Then she proceeded to clearly laugh at me for returning an item which I had bought several months prior. To Anthropologie staff, let's be clear: you do not know people's situations, and there is NEVER a good excuse to make anyone feel bad about themselves. Period. Oh, and saying " hi " and " bye " is really not that difficult. Meanwhile, I will clearly never go back to this store.

Consistently a sub par customer experience. Icing on the cake was during my latest visit when the cashier forgot to take the sensor off my slacks. I got dressed for a holiday party and was out the door when I realized the sensor was left on. Had to turn back and change into a new outfit last minute. When I brought the pants back to the store and shared what happened to the cashier (different one,) she said.. “oh.” Not I’m sorry, not that’s terrible, not what a an inconvenience…..just OH.

It pains me to see so many average and bad reviews about this Anthro location because this is my go-to. I am in LOVE with Anthropologie. Especially their Capri Blue Volcano candles. I recently purchased the colossal size one as a Christmas present to myself. Now, my home smells like Anthro, making me want to go shop at the store even MORE! So, I see you what you did... good one, Anthropologie. Haha.Rant aside, I've never felt mistreated inside this location. I am greeted multiple times whenever I'm shopping. The staff that runs the fitting rooms are always so nice and helpful, too. So sizing and stock do vary a lot here. Because of that, I do hybrid shopping: some online and some in-store. I've done multiple online returns here with zero issues. I always have my receipt and original payment method ready at hand. The only time you can't return in store is if you paid online using Afterpay, a third party billing entity that allows you to buy stuff with zero interest installments. I normally come here for the sale items that I don't want to pay shipping for. Their back room is always filled with stuff and I have found some good deals there. With additional 30% (and sometime up to 60% off) off the price tag does make for a reasonable deal. My only complaint is that the store does close relatively early, at 7pm. Meanwhile other stores in The Lot stay open to at least 8-9pm.

My sister and I visited yesterday with the expectation of maybe getting 1 thing each.. We left clear over $900 of beautiful items that we feel amazing in, all because of Shirley’s (Anthro sales associates) help!! I cannot rave enough about how helpful she was at pulling new sizes, suggesting other options that accentuate our body types (5 of the 8 pieces we purchased were recommended by her), and generally making us feeling good/ empowered! My sister and I kept bringing up how Shirley was the most helpful person we’ve ever had help us in any store… We highly recommend finding Shirley if you visit this store!! Ordered something online and salespeople are snotty. Not friendly and stuck up. Even in the Walnut Creek location. Who can afford their stuffs. It's freaking ugly and expensive. Plus staffs are not customer service trained.

As mentioned in other reviews this store has terrible customer service. I don't typically shop here (now I remember why), but wanted to pick up a few items as a gift for someone. Felt unwelcome and uncomfortable the moment I walked in. Staff looks at you just to ignore you. Do yourself a favor and shop online or drive to the Walnut Creek location instead.

It makes me sad to read reviews about how bad the service is here. I've been going to this location ever since it opened at Bishop Ranch. I guess I've been lucky because I've never once had a bad experience. I've even called more than once and everyone has been helpful and friendly. Just like with any location , the sale items are always varied stock (and sizes). So it's always worth checking out that room in the back, by the fitting rooms, where all of the sale is housed. The best thing about all Anthropologie stores is when you walk up and you see the additional 50% off sale sign out front. That's when you know you're in trouble because the prices are more than fair for the quality and style of the clothes. It is, of course, final sale at that discount. And they have both the ladybug blouse and sweater in stock. It took every ounce of self control for me not to buy both when I walked into the store. They're very strategically placed so that when you walk in, and even walk by, you'll see their cuteness front and center! I also want to say that I come here half of the time to return my online purchases. And I've never been treated poorly for it.

I was inside the store and I would like to try on two pants ( $150 ea.) fifteen minutes before the store closed and the staff told me the fitting room was closed. The staff asked the manager if I could quickly try on the pants but the Manager said no. I didn’t try on so I didn’t buy and left.
