Great staff to serve all your pets needs. Wellness plan is wonderful insurance to save money and extend the health of your pet.

The vets and staff are fine. DO NOT PURCHASE their wellness plans or insurance. It is impossible to cancel them. We put our dog down and the process to stop the insurance is nothing short of ridiculous. On top of that, the value the insurance offers is minimal. I do not suggest you sign up for these programs.the Vets and staff were fine. Its the corp identity that is now this pet hospital that is difficult to deal with.

January 2023, our beloved Tommy, about 15 yrs old, had a couple of seizures within a month. The last one caused him to lose strength in all his limbs. We called and the receptionist was very understanding and accommodated us to bring Tommy in right away. Even though it was a sad decision, Dr. Wong and we all agreed that it’s time to let Tommy go so that he didn’t suffer any further. All the staff and the vet were very kind and caring to Tommy and to us during his final treatment, which made us feel less guilty to let him go! Then, yesterday, we received a sympathy card with lots of kind words from Dr. Wong and all the staff! It really touched our hearts! We’re very grateful to have found this clinic!Thank you to all of you from the bottom of our hearts! ????Due to the pandemic, they have a very efficient and safe way of checking in and taking our dog into the “patient ward”. Receptionist was very courteous and professional. After waiting in our car for about 10 min, The vet came out herself and discussed her findings and next steps. Then, an assistant brought our dog back out to our car, and we just waited for the blood test results in the parking lot. Later, the vet came out to our car to discuss with us the results and action plan. She was very detailed and patient with our questions while standing in the parking lot! Thank you so much, Dr!!!

One girl in the office was very rude, one was very nice. The rude one makes me not want to ever go back here.

I have a 12 week old puppy that we just got 4 days ago. The dog is coughing, gaging and releasing fluid. Called to make an appointment, after explaining the situation, the front desk assistant asked for my client name and number to set up a time to bring the puppy in today. Informed her that we would be a new client, she immediately said sorry, but we will have to schedule you in about 30 days. For a pet hospital, it appears that a sick animal is not as important as being a previous customer.

Yes, they do try to upsell care that you may not necessarily want but we have had good, compassionate care at Banfield. This is the 3rd location we've used due to our two moves within the past 10 years. I like this location in that it's a standalone building with its own parking lot. Staff is friendly and the vet calls directly to give status updates and answer questions after drop off. I feel good knowing that our cat is up to date on his vaccinations, his teeth are checked, his weight is monitored. A happy cat is a good cat.

I highly recommend Dr. Kielty at this practice. She is efficient, practical, listens to the owner, and is respectful of the dogs. She is only there once a week or so I believe, but it is well worth booking with her when you are able. Most of the techs and staff are also great.

Nice doctors and staff, but it has become nearly impossible to get my dog in for an appointment - even when she's very ill. This is why I feel I must give this vet poor marks. My dog is seventeen years-old and has been going to this same vet group since she was a pup - but in recent years, the office been so overbooked that we often cannot get an appointment in under a week - even when the need is urgent. They simply have no room for my pet anymore. Our long time of loyalty with this veterinary group has not earned us any loyalty in return. The office is overbooked and expensive, and this is unacceptable. Take your animals elsewhere if you want to experience anything like a personal human touch when your pet is in need of veterinary assistance.

Dr. Haxby and Dr. Wong are so wonderful with my my cats and my French Bulldog. They have taken care of my pets for over 20 years, even before Banfield took over the practice. Their skill and compassion are above and beyond. Even through the pandemic and all the protocols my animals never received less that excellent care at Banfield. The ladies at the front desk are awesome and super friendly. The vet techs are amazing and so caring. My animals are in such good hands with these professionals.

Warning: My experience talks about end of life for a pet.We took our elderly cat to Banfield when she suddenly started going downhill one day, and they welcomed us with open arms despite us mixing up appointment dates and arriving a day early. And just before closing. The staff were thorough with their tests and diagnostics, and when prompted, did not sugar coat the prognosis, all while maintaining a great degree of empathy. They allowed us time to get my family together (we live 10 minutes away) to say our goodbyes, even if they were closed. The woman who helped us send our cat off to a better place was calm, and explained the process to us in simple words. And they gave us time to prepare and gather ourselves.About a week later we received a card in the mail from the team at Banfield writing their condolences, with each staff member writing their own section. While this was not a happy experience due to circumstance, I am extremely grateful for all they have done, and will be sure to return for my other cats!

I've never been to a Banfield office that is not within a PetSmart. The staff at this location was awesome, very pleasant and helpful. I recommend anybody that has services through Banfield visit and live in the Danville area, that you take your pet to this location, they will be very happy
