Difficult to get appointment when you need a doctor.

We have been going to this clinic for almost 3 years. The care was great at first but as we got older and Medicare became our primary insurance we have been treated like second class citizens. It's all about the money and not patient care. Patients are not heard here, everything is done according to the guidelines set forth because no one is an individual in this office, Be compliant or else. Patients are merely objects who must adhere to the rules and regulations. I don't think anyone genuinely cares in this office. It's strictly going through the motions and getting compensated.

My whole family goes here. My elderly parents, my wife and myself. The office staff is always professional. The doctors and nurse practitioner and other medical staff take time to listen and are always concerned for our well being. We've been going here for the past 5+ years and it's always been a very good experience for all of us. I recommend this facility without hesitation.

Cecilia Suarez , the office manager in the call center just cursed me out, I have never been treated so horribly in my life. The horrible customer service provided by this facility was terrible- do not go here. Cecilia, disregarded me, yelled and treated me as if I was nothing. I was saddened to have been treated in this manner.

They decided to run up my bill on a routine annual checkup for no reason other than to fill their pockets. They are exactly whats wrong with a medical industry that is willing to gouge their patients so that they can charge insurance companies, and patients more money. Avoid like the plague!

Today my wife started calling the danville office at 9am when they are supposed to be open for an appointment and she was unable to get through so i called and was placed on hold by the automated system i sat on hold for 45 minutes and the recording kept say we are busy helping other customers, at 09:54 someone from the danville office answered the phone and because i was frustrated i asked why was i on hold for 45 minutes and she stated that she did not put me on hold, i stated the system did, during this time my wife drove from pleasanton to danville and there sat the receptionist doing nothing. why do they not do there job and answer the phone and help the patients, i have been with bay valley for 10 plus yrs and i have never had this poor of customer service ever and to top it off they gave her an appointment and the doctor came in late. you would think being part of Stanford health care that it would be better, not so much... I can not recommend Bay Valley medical.

Was finally happy to find a primary care physician Dr. Kulkarni who actually seemed to care, listen and provide sensible advice. No wait. Future Annual physical seems a lot less stressful and intimidating now that I have found the perfect physician :-)

Just a shout out to the staff...Roxanne and Lisa. So helpful and friendly. I forgot to make an appt. for my daughter in the Hayward office, so when the weekend came she was out of her medication. I was panicked, because without the medication she can get sick. When I called the Hayward number, I was transferred to Danville and Pleasanton. These ladies jumped through some hoops to help me replenish the meds for a few days until my daughter could be seen. Wonderful customer service! Thank you for being so helpfu patient and pleasant! You both deserve a raise!

Spend 30 minutes with your doctor and a lifetime trying to get them to bill your insurance carrier correctly. Not sure if it's incompetence or fraud, but either way you will be the one to sort things out before they send your past due bill to a collection agency. I am now contacting the Medical Board and Insurance Commissioner to sort things out. Recommendation: Go to Kaiser. They have the best doctors and billing is simple. No problems!

I have been going to Bay Valley now for 3 years and have always had top quality care from multiple doctors with very short wait times and very courteous staff. I highly recommend Bay Valley.

Phone inquiries and interactions with the staff and doctor have been overly complex, inefficient, and ineffective. I do not recommend. I'm changing doctors.
