This bank is garbage. They don't honor their own customer checks. Put you through the Ringer talk about. They had to development profile on you because you're cashing their customer's check. does not make any sense. Walnut creek branch Needs to be fired. Then they needed my social security number they don't need my social security number. Then they have enough nerves asking what's this check for it? It's not in your business with the check is for just cash it. Does your customer have enough money in the bank? They could easily saw that the customer recently put that money in there so they could cover the check.

Someone please tell me how to report this bank to the government regulatory agencies. This is absolutely the worst bank I have ever used. I have opened 2 checking's accounts with this bank at this branch and deposited the money there. Somehow between 2022/09 and 2022/12, they closed my accounts without my knowledge. I have asked for my deposit money back. The branch manager Brandon Avanzato said he mailed the check to my old address. I said "I didn't receive it, can you cancel the previous check and mail it to my new address?" Then I no longer receive any answers from him after many calls and emails. Then I called the bank's customer service 888 number. They said they couldn't see any details, because the branch keeps all the history, they recommended me to keep contacting this branch. Then one day I kept calling the branch and finally was able to get a hold of another person named Tracy Mendez. She took my information and said she will investigate. Then again, after that she no longer responded to my emails and calls. How can I get my money back? Someone please tell me how to report this bank to the government regulatory agencies. Reply with any advices here is highly appreciated!

We were referred to Comerica by our mortgage broker to set us up with a Home Equity Line of Credit to pay off some credit cards and cover a few small repairs around the house. The entire process was a complete mess that dragged out for 3 months. We were originally approved for a $50K HELOC, but after a couple months of working through the process, they lowered it to $38K. However, their manager, Christopher, assured us that we could make up the difference by applying for a credit card promotion that they were running with 0% interest and $0 Fees on balance transfers(remember the fees for later in this story). We figured we could work with that (and frankly, we just wanted to get it over with) so we continued to proceed. Throughout the entire process, Christopher, seemed aloof and completely disorganized. Most of our correspondence was done over email (I like to have a paper trail), which was painful because he only seemed to skim his emails and partially reply to my original notes. There were several instances where I would email him a bullet-pointed list of several questions, and his response would only answer the first bullet point. The only way I could get a direct answer to all of my questions would be to call him directly and talk through each of my questions or concerns one by one. There were also several instances where we had to interface with other people in his office, who didn't seem to have the same updates that Christopher had given me in previous calls or emails. Finally, when the process was complete with the HELOC, Christopher told us that he would work on setting us up with the credit card we had discussed. I was expecting to fill out another application, but instead, we were surprised when 2 credit cards arrived in mail that were already pre-approved and registered to my wife and me. Each card was provided with a separate credit line, which was a little confusing, but we figured we could work with it. However, when we transferred over our balances, we were surprised to see that we had been charged 3% fees on each transfer. This resulted in hundreds of dollars in extra fees, and after combing through every document and email (even the welcome letter that came with the cards), I found no mention whatsoever of any balance transfer fees. Of course, I was upset, so I immediately wrote an email to Christopher to complain. I received an automated response with a link to settle the dispute with Christopher on Comerica's private email portal. When I visited the portal, I was able to read his reply where he told me that there was nothing they could do for us because Comerica works with a third party partner, Elan, to manage all of their credit cards. He told me that if I had an issue with Elan's fees, I'd need to take it up with them directly. Honestly, I don't know how this is even legal. At some point in the process, Christopher and his team signed us up for credit cards under the false pretense that there weren't any fees. Applications to Elan were obviously submitted on our behalf without giving us an opportunity to review or consent to the terms and fees, and now we're stuck with these credit cards that we never would have agreed to in the first place. I'm not sure if this is all a result of dishonesty or incompetence, but suffice to say, you should probably look elsewhere for your banking needs.

Jasko Korajkic, who is the manager of the branch is an amazing manager, and person. His leadership extends to the tellers, who are also awesome. The highest praise I can give is that he treats me like the most important customer he has, even though my account balance would not reflect that. Use COMERICA in Danville. It's like hometown banking where the bankers' care about you.

Cannot say enough about the terrific service at this branch in Danville. I saw that there was an old review from 2012 saying avoid this branch but please remember that things change. I am a bookkeeper and through my clients I have banking relationships with over 10 separate banks. Four of my clients have at least one or more accounts with Comerica. I deal solely with the Danville branch because I have had more than one problem working through the Walnut Creek branch on Main Street. The manager at the Danville branch, Jasko, has helped me over and over again as issues come up with my clients' accounts. I've had to open new accounts, update very old accounts and transfer accounts at Comerica and everything was done seamlessly and with a friendly and helpful attitude. Kao and Allie are the two tellers and say hello to me by name. Truly they offer outstanding customer service at the Danville Comerica branch - if you are considering changing banks or opening a new account, you should absolutely stop by and meet them.

Closing a home can be stressful and at times complicated. Recently, the professional staff at Comerica swiftly and seamlessly assisted us with such precision we were able to close on our home 5 days early. Specifically, Valeria's efficiency and knowledge those last days before closing escrow were instrumental to the successful outcome. After relocating in Danville, California from Michigan, our family of 7 was concerned we would have to move all of our Comerica accounts to another bank. We didn't know there would be a friendly Comerica around the corner in Danville plus other branches close by. We have been loyal customers of Comerica for over 15 years and plan to continue this relationship. Our University of Michigan daughter is happy to have a Comerica branch in Ann Arbor, Michigan she utilizes. When here in CA she finds downtown Danville's service first rate! All five of our kids have accounts in Comerica. We are more than pleased!

This is a great bank that truly cares about establishing relationships. Another thing that I love is that they make sure that I am in the best possible products instead of opening unnecessary accounts. Staff is super friendly and they have a lot of experience. The new management(Jasko, banking manager) has created a very experienced team that is focused on customer service. I will definitely refer my friends there.

Thank you Jasko for taking care of the fraudulent charge on my account! It would have been nice if I didn't have to turn to you for help with this, but sometimes you just have to get a manager involved!! Greatly appreciated!

avoid this one. there are plenty of Comerica Banks in the area and this one is the worst. If you need anything other than an ATM or to make a deposit/withdrawal, this would be the place (I suppose) as there is never much of a line. In terms of customer service, you won't get anywhere..
