Costco is still better than other pharmacies, especially CVS. But recently, I have had the displeasure of speaking (by phone) to a rude and brusk person who likes to "scold" me as though I am an idiot or a not very bright child (I would never talk down to either). Don't know if it's a tech or a pharmacist - but his attitude is very robotic and nasty at the same time. Some human consideration and courtesy would be nice, especially in customer service, but it is sadly lacking just about everywhere these days. So sad that I thought I had found an excellent pharmacy (and I wrote a great review previously), but all good things must come to an end. Costco, pay heed; please.

I normally only write good reviews. But this one star review is only to the Indian lady who abruptly hanged up phone calls several times and spoke super impatient this morning. How can she make patients feel even worse after speaking to her??? Other than this lady, I really like Danville Costco Pharmacy. I hope I won't have the chance to be in touch with her again in future and no other customers need to bare with her rude manners/attitudes. Thank you!

This is my go to pharmacy! They are great communicating with you via text that your prescriptions have been filled. They always have ample staff working the registers in the pharmacy so there's not a long wait time to pick up your prescriptions. And all the staff are both knowledgeable, and very personable, which is a much appreciated combination! Great people, and fair prices on medication's.

I noticed while I was in a long line, there was only one person at the counter. I said, "Are you working alone?" She said "Yes." Then I said, "You probably will not be a very good Saturday night date." She replied, "When I get home I am going to say to him, " Do not even speak to me!" Only in America! Costco is an exceptional pharmacy.

Costco Pharmacy is the best and easiest place to get your prescription filled if you have or don’t have RX coverage with your health plan. You can take advantage of the deals whether you are a Costco member or not.Costco Pharmacy also provides flu and Shingles vaccinations and now Covid-19 vaccinations. No appointment required. You can place your order in person (while your shopping) or have your doctor’s office (except for Kaiser) send the prescription for them to fill. Once your prescription is in the system, you can phone in and get your prescriptions refilled. You have up to 7 days to pick up your prescriptions.Costco even has pet medicines. Much cheaper than getting them from your vet. They even have mail order if your need 3 month prescriptions. The only con is the pharmacy is not open on Sundays.

I've been making this my go-to for stuff I don't get mail order. Always friendly and helpful staff. They listen to me, and never mess around or do the typical rude things some cashiers or technicians do while you're waiting for your order (talking on the phone while in store customer waits, helps others who interrupt while they're helping you, etc.) They are helpful and courteous on the phone. They enforce mask mandates. They run an orderly customer line. Prices are the best I've found in the region for Executive Members.

I told my doctor I always had a lot of trouble with pharmacies messing up orders, or causing delays for no reason, so my doctors' office recommended Costco which ended up being a mistake. I got a call right after my doctor placed the order from Costco asking me for my insurance information which I provided. The phone agent told me she ran the insurance and I would have zero co-pay and it would be ready in two hours. I could not pick it up for a few days so I was hoping it would be ready to go. When I got to the counter they said 'sorry we don't have anything for you' and I mentioned that via the phone they told me it was ready, she said costco does not call, I mentioned that costco called to get my insurance and then told me it would be ready. She did not reply to the information I shared she just said 'go over to the other window'. I went over to the other window and she looked up my info and told me insurance declined the medication. When I got home I looked at my insurance and there is no request or decline so now I need to start the process again with my doctor. I will go back to the other poor services I am using, Costco is not a better option. I can't say the people who work there are very friendly either.

My entire family has been getting all of our prescriptions at Costco Pharmacy for over 21 years which includes my in-law parents. The pharmacists and techs are our neighbors and live in the area. Friendly, efficient and helpful for all of our medications needs. Our doctors send our prescriptions electronically to Costco pharmacy so there is no need to bring an order to them. They even apply for any known discounts or coupons for us. And they automatically text message you to refill orders. One of the major pluses of being a Costco member is the Pharmacy.

This pharmacy is great. The customer service, knowledge, efficiency and price are so much better than Target-now CVS, CVS, Safeway and RiteAid.

During the last six months, I have patronized this pharmacy location for diabetes supplies and to purchase a CGM device (for which I paid cash). As typical, I provided my commercial insurance card from my employer and to get a little discount for the CGM, I signed up for the Costco Medical Membership card, this is where the problem began. Yesterday, I called the pharmacy regarding the cost of my maintenance supplies, I am quoted $45 for a thirty (30) day supply; then when I arrive at store to purchase the item, the cost is four (4) times higher at $162.00!!! Quite surprised by the difference, I asked if the price quoted was via my health insurance; the clerk said "no". Then I replied, "Isn't it cheaper through my insurance plan?" She glared at me and said, "Let's go to the drop-off window and check your plan". We did and then she supposedly "confirmed" the lower price and asked me to go back to the pickup counter where she completed the transaction. Now, I am suspicious about the pricing I've received from previous transactions; I will no longer reward this type of deception and dishonesty! Shame on you Costco!
