other UPS stores take USPS packages as drop offs. this store has decided they will take them but charge you $2 to do that.
i won’t be coming back here since i can just go to the one on Crow Canyon and they take all packages as drop offs for free.
customers should know about the “upcharge” at this location. this is not a one stop shop for package drop off
edit: owner said that “each store is independently owned and each has their own policies”…yeah you are just proving my point. Since you dont know what to expect at each location, stay away from the ones that don’t provide the best service. if the basic store services are all franchised, like a subway, wouldn’t it track that the owner would want to prioritize the best level of service at each location?
upcharging $2 for a drop off makes zero sense when up the road it is free. i’ll just go to the free one and avoid this place.

I recently visited a UPS Store to get passport photos taken and was surprised by the $25 charge for just two photos. The store manager explained that the higher price was due to new software with special passport compliance features and the store’s high rent. While I understand the need for accuracy and quality, the price still feels excessive—especially considering that FedEx and even other UPS locations offer the same service for around $18, with equally compliant results.
Overall, the photos were fine, but the value for the price is questionable. If you're looking to save a few dollars, I’d recommend checking other options before choosing this UPS Store.

I purchased a $10 flat box which turned out to be too small. I specificaly asked the gal if I can return it. She said "yes with the receipt". Today they said I can't return it, and the gal I purchased it from was new and didn't know. Well, she is representing your company and should know. I will not use this location again. The San Ramon location will return items. Go there....

Absurdly expensive. Of course, so is everything nowadays. Big box $13. Piece of bubble wrap $5. Wouldn't surprise me if the prices are inflated because Danville. I only use as a last resort. Staff are friendly in that corporate handbook kind of manner.

Wouldn’t take my Usps paid envelope. Told me find a drop box. I rarely spend money at a ups store but will make sure to never return to this store. Why have a USPS box but then charge me. Horrible policy. Feel free to contact me

stopped by at 4:50PM on 9/2/23, I was second person inside while other person was at the counter explaining to UPS employee what she was requesting/needing (something about moving into her new address coming up).The UPS worker replied "if you let me get a word in I could respond, but you haven't let me get a word in to explain we cannot forward your mail". The customer seemed to understand the point of not forwarding the mail and she was still trying to explain what she was requesting from UPS. The UPS employee told the customer she needs to calm down because clearly she upset because he could see it in her face, she said your embarrassing me in front of your customer (me) and he was not listening. The UPS employee continued to insult the older female as he stood behind the counter two young daughters that were standing along him on the right side and the left side. I witnessed another UPS employee walking by looking but not coming out to deescalate the unnecessary insults from the UPS employee. Then a female came out looked like possibly the mother of the two young girls and she went to the UPS employee who then explained that this customer is completely out of control, he's trying to explain to her that her mail cannot be forwarded and this elderly women stood there and said loudly "excuse me, I'm the customer here, your speaking about me, I'm right here". The UPS female did not try to help the customer either , just listened the the "story from the UPS employee that basically confined to insult this elderly women. The customer left and said she's done with them. I'm sharing what I witnessed as this was completely unfair on the customers behalf, this UPS employee should be terminated for the insults towards this older lady. As far as my own transaction, the young daughter in the middle possibly 10 or 12 yrs old used the scanner and the register and completed my transaction at 04:53PM. There are many laws in the state of California. This UPS store needs to be evaluated immediately.

This was my usual Amazon UPS return and has always raved about the customer service here, with the exception of my latest experience. After my fathers recent sudden passing, I had several Amazon medical supplies still unopened to return, and not having the time or heart to go through everything, I brought the boxes to UPS for return. I was a mess and didn't have the boxes sorted. I just wanted everything out of my parents house so my mom didn't have to be reminded of the tragedy that took place. As soon as I arrived, Tamica was extremely rude. When I asked for the boxed to be opened so I can ensure the correct items are being returned I was told that I would be charge a tape fee, which wasn't the case I guess till recently. Another employee relayed that due to the size I was able to get the fee waived. Which made Tamika (sp) unhappy and she was rolling her eyes, while continuing to be rude in tone and attitude so I requested for another person to assist instead. Generally everyone at this store has been kind and extremely helpful, I shouldn't have to tell her what I am going through in-order for Tamika to be human and kind towards others. Human kindness doesn't cost you anything, I am thankful for the kind gentlemen that stepped in.
