Honest mechanic!!! I have been going here for years and always get a reasonable price for the service and goodsKevin is super nice and kind and is always willing to help any way he can!I had my battery have issues and with that the radio blew out. He fixed my radio with no extra charge or fees after replacing my alternator. They don’t mess up your car here purposely to upsell and I appreciate the business so much!Service: Engine repair

Cannot believe the one star reviews on pricing. This business gives quotes and offers before consenting to the service. If you can’t afford it don’t fix your car?I always get the best service and this mechanic never upsells useless and unnecessary products or servicesI loved the customer service care I got! People who had a bad experience are probably weird and have bad energy.I been going here for years and will continue to support love my small businesses in Davis!Services: General repairs & maintenance

I went in to get a belt change. They are personable, honest, and quick to get the job done in under 2 hours. Far more professional than the establishment on the other side! I highly recommend this place. I am happy with the results. Extremely fair pricing

While traveling from Puyallup, WA to Bakersfield, CA for a wedding, our car started to give us some problems. We stopped by on a whim, and my boyfriend walked up to a “mechanic” that had been just standing around. My boyfriend proceeded to ask if he was available and if he could take a quick listen to this strange noise our car was making but was rudely and abruptly shut down. If you’re a fan of good customer service, this is not the place you’re looking for.

Reliable and trustworthy! They are honestly the best, I went to a different mechanic where they were charging me 700-800 for the problem however here it was only 200! They are honestly the best, trustworthy not overcharging! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I called for a quote here and got a reasonable one, however they werent going to be able to see more for 2 weeks, which didnt work for me, however, they did recommended me another place. To me, that shows their integrity, which is rare in this world.

Reyna has some of the best customer service around and is very knowledgeable, a true asset to her company! Also they offer cheap reliable smog checks and helped me avoid a late fee by telling me I could pay my DMV before my smog check. Highly recommend them!

I bought a 1993 Toyota Camry a couple weeks ago and when I took it to smog, it failed. Furthermore, it would intermittently bog down at 2000 rpm and I couldn't figure out why. Now these Toyotas are known to be good running reliable cars, and even though my car was 28 years old, it only had 155000 miles on it and looked to be taken care of all its life. So I called around to find out who would fix the problem and was shocked when I discovered that most automotive places will not touch a vehicle, especially where smog is concerned, if it is made before 1995. So Now I had a dilemma… if I can't get her smogged, then I can't get tags and I would have to get rid of the car. So with one last effort, I called Advanced Auto in Davis and to my amazement, they were more than willing to take up the challenge. And a challenge it was… they went through the entire exhaust system and finally discovered that my PCM sensor, which is the brain of the vehicle, was faulty. Upon putting a new PCM sensor in the vehicle, it ran beautifully like it was brand new. They were so professional and what impresses me most is the fact that they didn't give up when it seemed for a moment that all avenues were just about exhausted. And even more impressive was the fact that they kept me informed daily of what was going on. I just have to say that Advanced Auto Repair in Davis are some of the finest mechanics around. The professional courtesy of keeping me informed and making me feel like they were not giving up on pinpointing what the problem was is second to none. And after all was said and done, the bill was much less than I had anticipated to the point where I felt like giving them a tip! They put so much time, care and effort into my 28 year old vehicle as if it was just coming off the showroom floor. Yes, they will always have my business and if anyone is reading this review, they should have yours as well! Thanks again Advanced Auto, and especially Rina, who kept me updated with the progress on fixing my car as time went by. I am in Davis visiting for the day. On my way home my front bumper guard falls down. I call three shops. The first two tell me no we can't help you. This is a five minute fix. I'm stuck here. This place says, "oh how frustrating. Come right over we will figure this out." Seriously lovely front staff and team for helping me out. If I were a resident I'd come here for sure. I can see why their Yelp ratings are high! Thanks so much team.

These guys are great! Not only was the tow service timely, he also accurately diagnosed my car's problem in the field, provided the tow, and walked me through the process for great service on my car the very next day! This was so helpful, especially in the evening after work, when most places aren't open. Great customer service. I cannot recommend this place enough!
