Such a great set of teachers and great hot sequence. Bring water and there’s a dressing room and shower.

The instructors at this studio are fantastic! I don't know how the Owner continues to get such talent. 1. There is an instructor who can sing the instructions during class. Her voice is beautiful and she makes the class like being in a small concert.2. There is an instructor named Brian who, I'm pretty sure, is one of the top competitors in yoga. Very helpful for a guy like me do to his superb instruction.3. There used to be an instructor who had burns and was motivational in his instruction. He moved on but I'm hopeful he will return one day. 4. There is an instructor named Sarah who provides insight into getting further into the postures while you are a beginner. 5. The Owner instructs as well and, as you would expect, she is great. The people who practice here are friendly and welcoming. I brought my daughter here and she loved the studio and people too! I've gone to a number of hot yoga studios over the last 5 years including San Diego, Irvine, New York, Sacramento, and many others but this is my favorite of all of them. The studio is on the second floor above an auto shop. However, I've never smelled anything from the shop below or heard noises that impacted the practice so I'm fine with it. Sometimes there is fresh orange juice available which is delicious. Can't say enough positive about this studio.

Hot Yoga Davis is the absolute best for an impactful workout mentally and physically. The instructors - Erin, Sara (2), Carolyn, Jessie, Anita, Astirol, Bineti (who should audition for the Voice with her pipes) are all spectacular in their own unique ways. I have been practicing with Erin and the hot yoga community for years. This community cares for one another with a welcoming, inclusive vibe and always ready to ensure newcomers have a guided, positive first class. I had two surgeries in 2019 (one planned, one not) and after each surgery, this practice was the catalyst that made me feel well again. Don't fear the heat, the heat helps with stretching and encourages mobility. Come join this community of folks for some of the best self care you can practice #bewell #stayhealthy thank you Erin for creating this space for us #namaste

I've been going here for a little over a year. A friend started me with a 30 day all-you-'eat'-card. It's been fabulous. There are a variety of classes; I especially like the ones with music and that expand on the basic Bikram format. My practice has grown considerably over this time. I notice very strong changes in my flexibility and core strength. I'm over 60 and the aches, pains and twinges have diminished amazingly. Erin and her instructors are personable, pleasant and put together great programs for different needs. Highly recommend.

Try more than one session and you will grow to love this place. The instructors give great guidance to help with proper position. It has completely fixed my chronic back issues.

A bad location inside an industrial auto parts block. Poorly ventilated studio. Antiquated teaching style. The owner is very rude. Do not recommend.

This is without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had in a fitness environment and that expression is being kind. The owner Erin is carful not to tell new clients that this location is unhealthy. You are literally doing yoga at a hot temperature in the middle of an auto parts, smog, and tire center! All ancient looking dirty buildings in one big industrial heap. The studio while not half bad looking on the inside smells dirty and ventilation between classes isn't being utilized. As for Bikram College of India the title, many studios tossed out his name years ago due to his open and proud misogyny. That's one Yogi's name I do not want to study under -ever, I was told that the owner had "like changed the name of the studio awhile ago." Not true. The name Bikram was on the sign when we showed up to take a sample class and is still there. According to her own post on Facebook she waited until a few weeks *after* the shocking Netflix special! And that she "got like tired of explaining about Bikram." Oh, sounds stressful... so you waited over half a decade to part ways with the brand? Netflix outcry had "nothing" to do with it? Hard to believe. Erin as an instructor has a heavy fake tone to her voice. There's too much of an overall bad vibe here. Sorry, just my experience.

There’s a reason why this ratchet Bikram Becky is up above a dirty car parts auto center and doesn’t have a decent studio. She’s repping Bikram who has multiple rape charges against his worthless azz and fled the country a years back. This Becky’s entire life has been as concubine for misogyny. And you can feel it when you walk into her studio. While other studios were dropping his name long ago she only changed because of Netflix. Don’t go near this foul Becky. This is the ugly guru clout chasing side of yoga so white.

Bikram Yoga Davis has such a homely feel as a yoga studio. Erin is wonderful, she's very helpful and welcoming to new students. I've done many classes with Erin and some with her other instructors. In all the classes I've done I've never felt uncomfortable or out of place as a beginner. The classes are always a mix of new people and experienced yogis and instructors which is great as you can see the moves and at the same time not feel out of place no matter what your level. I have to say I was worried about the heat going in and people who I tell about it always ask me about the heat. Some days I handle it better than others, the class flies by and I don't feel the need to sit down and others I feel like I need to sit down after the first move. It really depends. What I will say is the instructors are always very encouraging, and they will remind you to listen to your body and to sit if you need to, so nobody should avoid going for fear of the heat!! I've actually found its increased my tolerance for being out cycling in the Davis summer heat so much! You can rent towels and mats there, pay cash and card, id recommend going well hydrated, I always bring extra water and some form of electrolytes. And when it's super hot an extra bottle to pour over my head on the cycle home. Lots of room to lock a bike outside, but if you drive you'll have to go early to make sure you find parking nearby. The studio is super clean you'd never know people are sweating in there every day! I'd encourage anybody to try Bikram at least once!! I've been sickly over the summer and haven't had a chance to go as much but I'm hoping to get back to it and go every day soon! I honestly feel it's one of the few types of exercise classes you could go to consistently every day. I also love that there is options for paying for class you go, paying for a month, 3 months, with no commitment or contracts like I have seen in other places around Davis! It really suits someone who's income isn't stable!

I’ve been to classes here a couple dozen times and loved so much how inclusive every class felt. Most classes I’ve taken have beginners and yet somehow the class flow never feels interrupted by that. I always feel like I am constantly being taken deeper into my practice by the encouragement and support. This is a judgement free zone, maybe that’s what helps so much. Body size, shape, age, and ability are only welcomed never shunned. All I know is this yoga studio feels just right for me. Also I love how they always seem to be upgrading and improving something. It’s usually subtle but this isn’t a place that sits still. I’m never as happy when I travel because no class I’ve ever taken on a cruise or at a resort makes me feel half as good as I walk away feeling here.

Bikram Davis is my home away from home. I attend UC Davis and take a class at Bikram Davis everyday rain or shine. I have loved every single class that I have taken here. Every teacher is absolutely incredible and the owner, Erin, is an absolutely fabulous teacher and runs her business so so well. I would highly recommend this studio--by far the best yoga studio in Davis.

I've practiced at BYD for over 5 years and it's changed my life. I'm stronger, calmer and happier overall. The teachers are caring, the studio is inviting, and there is a general sense of warmth and family--it truly is my second home and the place I feel most relaxed and attuned.
