She is great and knowledgeable. I took my shy Persian cat there and she made sure to take a good care of him and not to scare him. She told me she is against unnecessary vaccines which I really appreciate. I definitely recommend this clinic.

The care and attention I receive for my little guy is beyond AMAZING!! When I adopted him he was sickly, but with love, attention, the help of AWC and their amazing staff, he's a decent little dood who is having a pretty good life. Thank you to EVERYONE at Animal Wellness Center!!

My rat was having an emergency and they were able to help her when nobody else would take her. Thank you!

Dr Dailey is a compassionate, knowledgeable vet who gets to know patients and clients in order to best serve them. The negative reviews are from people too unintelligent to compose a properly constructed sentence, those who do not see it fit to spend money on their pets (making excuses, complaining about life not being perfect, if you aren't willing to spend money on an animal don't get one), those happily ignorant folks who refuse to be educated about their pet's health and treatments, and of course, the entitled. AWC is an integrative practice, offering acupuncture, VOM (chiropractic treatment) laser therapy and herbal remedies as well as traditional western medicine. Two of my dogs have chronic conditions which cause pain that are managed with herbs and VOM rather than heavy pain meds which can cause liver and kidney issues when used long term. My other boy was having urinary incontinence problems, usually treated with a medication that can cause organ damage. He is on a Chinese herb and no longer has accidents/leakage. A few years ago I had a rescue dog for whom I used a low cost voucher and there was no out of pocket cost. I mentioned I she was looking for a forever home and one of the techs adopted her. Most vets will vaccinate everything, even immuno-compromised animals and those advanced in age. This is unnecessary and can be harmful. A simple titer will show if an animal has the appropriate antibodies to protect him and is valid in place of a vaccine when proof is needed (animal licensing, boarding/grooming). Dr Dailey offers and thoroughly explains titer testing, as it's in the best interest of the animal (as a society we way over-vaccinate pets). Dr Dailey recommends and explains the benefits of a high quality diet and sells specialized food but does not pressure clients to buy it. The hospital is clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly. It's unfair to call them rude when they have to place a call on hold or ask a client to wait (others pay for time/services too, you're not more important). If I didn't work at place that treats my boys for free I'd drive the hour to continue seeing Dr Dailey.

Thank you to Dr. Dailey for 16 years of great care for my dog Smitty. We really appreciate everything you did to keep him healthy and happy for so long. I highly recommend this office.

Took my dog Chachi for a consultation regarding a certain matter. Dr. Dailey was patient, thorough and took the time to explain option treatments, including those based on Chinese Medicine. The office itself and examination room was very clean (unlike some other vets) and didn't feel like it was an "assembly line" type of an operation with a staff which constantly multi-task. Overall, a positive experience.

I have been taking my cats to Dr Dailey for over 15 years and I have always found her to be compassionate and caring. I think that she is especially gifted with managing chronic health issues and senior pets. She will try to provide multiple treatment options so that I can choose an option that is both affordable and appropriate for my pet.

I thought the vet seemed competent, but I felt grossly misled about the pricing. I went here for their fall special with the intent to save money, but it would be WAY more here than with my regular vet. Of course, I had to pay for an exam before finding out the big, overpriced surprise. So disappointing to be fleeced like that!

I live in Sacramento and drive to Davis just because they have always been way more reasonably priced than the Sacramento vets. Dr Dailey is amazing and I've been taking my pets to her for 10 years now. They've always been really helpful and make sure you can get your pets in good health. I'm super shocked to see that there are bad reviews on here. And the comments about the prices being made. People should really not be going to a vet thinking it's going to be dirt cheap lol. That being said, I definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

We had to let our Gramma's old dog go today. Everything was wonderful from the moment we walked in the door and our beloved dog had her last breath. They were gracious, kind and patient with us. It was completely affordable and they were nothing but supportive. Thank you.

We will never take our zoo to another vet. We've come here a few times over the years but the latest experience has won us over. We took our boxer puppy Jersey in to be fixed July 3rd. Everything went great. The office called to check on her after the holiday. Then this past Sunday she had a reaction to something. Poor baby broke out in welts & bumps all over. I took pics & emailed them to the clinic expecting a call or response to my panic on Monday. Nope....within an hour Dr. D had emailed me back, told me it looked like hives and what to do. On a Sunday!! After Benadryl and medicated baths she's doing much much better. Personal & caring staff all around!!

Integrative Medicine is another slogan for Herbal Remedies which is a phrase for b******** I haven't visited Animal Wellness Center in YEARS! I don't believe in what they do, and that's fine. Steve Jobs needed to die, but please stop cold calling me to schedule an appointment for my dog. She's been dead for nearly 2 years, and I already told you to piss off last year. If you want true medical attention for your pet, please talk to the fine people at UCD VetMed.

Disaster Out for the Money Dr. Dailey seems to know her trade; however, I have never experienced a worse service, that caused more pain to me and my family. Because I refused to pay for a useless X-ray for a clearly broken spine, I was ignored and simply told that "she already told me what to do" by her underlings for a week. Our family struggled with money at the time and did not have an extra $300 to waste on useless X-rays. When I went to a new vet, the new VET was shocked. I have the letters and documents to prove what a money-grubbing, soulless-towards-humans Dr. Dailey was for us. I wrote and she knew exactly how my family suffered by her ignoring us...yet, she did it. She can come up with excuses and claim whatever...STAY AWAY FROM DR. DAILEY

If I could give them less than one star I would! If you care about your animals at all, please do not take them here! I have watched them mistreat and neglect animals. They have been reported to the board before and I'm sure they will again. Their attitude and service is horrible and they could care less about the well being of your animal.
