They've extremely poor customer service. People will get your number and not finish a service. Then have you take another number to be in line again. I understand that they've to take their lunch but if you know you're going on lunch it is common sense not to take another person to then have them go in line again. This happened to me in number 3, she wears a mask. She lacks common sense if possible avoid this window number.

May I explain how I was Over Charged $521? Making a mistake or error is forgivable. But Refusing to Correct a Mistake is serious. When questioning the Error on my 1st visit, I was publicly shamed and embarrassed in front of the entire office. "I am the Office Manager!". "Who else are you going to question?" "I have an Auditor, would you like to talk to her?" I apologized and explained that this isn't personal. The charges just didn't make sense: Prior Year fees on a car that I bought from an Alabama dealer? My tags were expiring, so I had no choice but to pay. But, another Error was made on my paperwork. And I got a letter telling me to Come Back (), or they'll cancel my registration... When I returned (more time off work), another lady was supervising. So I asked again about the previous Error. And this lady agreed and corrected it ()!!! But (plus), I found Another Error: I wasn't given credit for Alabama Sales Tax that I had paid! Bottom line? "We The People" rely on DMV to help us. I felt like a Victim with no Advocate. What do I know about Vehicle Law? Legislature creates Law. DMV needs to be Fair, Honest, and Unbiased. So does Davis DMV serve "The People"? or themselves? May He the Great Judge decide.

After waiting for over an hour, WITH an appointment, all the computers froze. The approximately 25 people crammed into the airless office, many who had been there at least an hour, were told they would have to come back another day. The entire office looks raggedy and neglected.The state of California needs to invest our money in our public services. Computer systems should not be freezing up. Offices should be clean and tidy. Staff should be well supported. People should be able to accomplish what they came for with minimum discomfort.

They refused to assist me saying my account was “locked”. Went to Woodland DMV and got it resolved immediately.

The reason I gave them one star is that I had to do so in order to write this review. I recently visited this DMV in Davis, CA to take the written test on June 6, 2023 around 1:30 PM, and there were several people taking the test at the same time speaking in Chinese to one another so loudly that it became impossible for me to complete my test or concentrate. I believe they were also cheating in order to pass the written test. Unfortunately, there was not a single DMV employee who addressed these individuals, and allowed them to be disruptive. These people were disrespectful, ridiculous and had no regard for others taking the exam.

The DMV in davis is a good place to do your driving test. The instructor I had was nice and friendly. After he explained what you did wrong and what you need to work on

Wait times online are a joke. When I arrived listed wait time was 11 min. I've been here for 50 minutes. Not a good choice if you need this to be quick. I would've been better off driving into Sacramento and back.

I have been here twice. It is not horrible. It has a small waiting area but you will be gone within an hour.

This place is awful! The man that checked us in is rude, had no customer service skills. Needs to take a class! I had an appointment everyone with a none appointment was helped before me. Thesis is ridiculous what's the point of having an appointment if your not going to be helped at your appointment time! Never again will I come here. They need a better supervisor

Quick and easy. Davis DMV is a decent place to get stuff done. Longest wait time I had in the past year was 30 minutes. Usually in and out in 15-20 min, with no appointment.
