Hanlees Service had my 2021 Z71 for over a month, needed a new engine after 20k, no offer of a loaner, no help with rental costs, dealership never called me to update me or even tell me that they were replacing the engine. I had to call week after week, where I was met with unprofessional customer service. It’s not their fault that the engine had the problem, but they represent the manufacturer and clearly they aren’t putting the customer needs first. When I was picking up the vehicle I asked the service manager to call GM with me to raise my concerns about my rental car bills he indicated he didn’t have the time. To add insult to injury, the car was parked outside and was covered with a thick layer of dust when I picked it up, I asked about a car wash and they informed me that it wasn’t something they offer. I can’t recommend the service department based on my interaction with them. I am hopeful the mechanical problems are fixed.

At the age of 59, my 2023 Colorado Trail Boss is the first Chevrolet I've ever owned. And my experience at the dealership was excellent, with no pressure. There is a very good chance that my next vehicle will be purchased at Hanlees again.

Brought my car in to get a code read, which I already had the code and showed them. Mind you my fans were loud but my car was fine and driving perfect. Got my car back and it was super hot like it wasn’t that hot in 100+ temps, drove it less than 10 miles before it shut off on me on the freeway with my kids in the car and now isn’t drivable. Had to get it towed back home because Hanlees did not answer my call when I called. I will NEVER be coming back.

Took two visits to get a TPMS sensor replaced. Also, the casher made me pay twice for the same service. There is something wrong with their accounting system.

We had such a wonderful experience. We needed to bring our truck in urgently and the manager German took us in the same day. We felt very welcomed. He also found us a rental in such short notice. I will definitely be recommending this dealership to everyone!

Showed up at this dealership right as they were closing do to hearing metal on metal on my sons brakes. The service manager German asked his employee to stay after hours to check the brakes making sure it wasn't an immediate safety issue. German was doing everything possible to take care of us and it was after hours. Both German and his employee who's name has escaped me (apologies) were very kind, professional and accommodating. Our car isn't even a Chevrolet nor did we purchase it at this dealership and they still wanted to help us. Highly recommend!!

Was able to order the parts to be overnighted and installed before our travel day. Thanks to German who helped with the whole process.

I had my car towed to Hanlees Davis Chevrolet during an emergency mechanical failure in my car and I wish I could have gone anywhere else. The service manager is an extremely rude person. I had to request the itemized service list be emailed from him several times before the document was sent. He treated me with disrespect assuming I couldn't understand the paperwork and insisting that I drive to Davis from Sacramento knowing my car is in his custody. He repeatedly said I needed to "visually see the forms" with him instead of just letting me work out any issues I was having with my warranty coverage with the company that I have the warranty with. Every step of the process of getting my car fixed has felt like the service manger trying to swindle me out of more and more money. He also said "too many people are involved" when I asked him to reach out to my claims adjuster because they had additional questions about the work being done on my car. I am not sure how many claims adjusters contacted him on my behalf but I can't imagine it is out of the ordinary to have verify work with claims people and warranty groups. If I hadn't had an emergency I wouldn't have gone there and now after this experience I would never plan to come back. If you are thinking of taking your car to this place just know, there are much better options.

I took my vehicle to the service department at Hanlees Chevrolet in Davis. I had been having an electrical problem and reported every situation that made the problem reoccur and stated exactly what was happening with the issue. I left my vehicle with them for a full week. At which point they said they couldn't replicate the problem. I was not charged, but was still left with an unreliable vehicle. I got into my vehicle to drive away and the problem happened immediately. I took my vehicle to a standard mechanic who diagnosed the issue immediately as the connection to the battery was literally loose and the negative connection was corroded. Second mechanic had me repaired and good to go within 2 hours. Could not recommend Hanlees Chevy for repairs if you actually care about having the problem solved.

My Chevy Volt's warning light was beeping like crazy on my way back from SFO indicating an overheating engine. I took it to Hanlees on December 20th. The mechanics diagnosed it to be a sensor problem and informed me that due to a parts shortage, it would be about 2 to 3 weeks' wait. On Friday January 13th, the parts were still not available and Service manager Herman Franco referred me to GM Customer service. It took another 3 weeks for GM to come through and I was finally able to pick up my Volt today. Herman worked empathetically with me throughout this process and he treated me as a person rather than a run-of-the-mill customer. On top of this, he found a way to waive the $2000 cost of the parts and labor! Definitely FIVE STARS in service and compassion---we appreciate it very much!!!

Very poor communication we have to be the ones calling to get an update. I was even told by the service manager, they don't communicate with the customer unless there's an update. I didn't get a call because I had already been told we were waiting on parts but they failed to see that I needed an update as far as time. They gave me a period initially but it was constantly changing and I wouldn't know unless I would call.
