I’ve lived in Davis for years and iFix has been a great help with my issues with my old phones. They are super honest and helpful, sometimes they have even given me free advice and told me there is no need for them to work on the phone and charge me. I really appreciate a place like this that I trust because I don’t know anything about electronics and they have been great!

My phone wouldn't turn on because of a software issue and they fixed it in under 30 mins for only $40! The service was fast + friendly.

They only have a one month warranty on their screen repairs.
I brought in my iPad Pro and they literally ruined it. I had to spend hundreds of dollars at a different place after I took it to these guys because the screen started glitching and not working after going here. The iPad is broken now and I need to buy a new one 👍 don’t go here. Just go to the Apple Store.

Went to get a couple of ipod batteries changed and once I showed him a 3rd gen nano he didn’t say he couldn’t fix it or anything of that sort he just told me it not worth the time and I said I didn’t care and h just kept saying it wasn’t worth the time took my business elsewhere and now all 3 of my iPods are repaired and working great no thanks to Ifix…

If I could rate it lower I would. He replaced my iPhone battery when I told them it was my port. I called to tell him my port needs to be replaced. He refused to give me any refund for the mistake he made. When I went him I told him my phone had no battery and it doesn’t charge. I stayed arguing with him to do something. He raised his voice while his little daughter was in the back watching tv. He made this his personal home and business. Now my iPhone has a non Apple battery that I never asked for! He even said when I gave him my phone that it didn’t charge with the port but did with wireless! That means the port is faulty! Oh mind you he was going to charging me for port cleaning which I never asked for, for another $20. I’m going to be reporting him to the BBB. This kind of theft should not be acceptable. Friends of mine have had similar experience. I have to get a new phone because of his incompetence. I don’t write reviews ever. This one is for anyone that wants to get anything fixed avoid at all cost!

Bad engineer, heavy charges etc. are there for sure - but I've never in my life encountered a colder human soul in terms of interacting with a customer. I've seen both extremely jovial and extremely ill-tempered people in such repair shops and I'm fine with both, but this guy is hurtfully sarcastic and bitter.
I think this place should be avoided at all costs.

Had my screen replaced and supposed to get a 30day warranty. One day later the corner popped up and he said it was our fault it was damaged by dropping the phone and wouldn’t honor the 30 day warranty. The phone HAD NOT been dropped it was poor screen replacement. 2 more days later the whole screen is falling off! $160 down the drain. On top of that the posted hours are not correct. I went at 5:25 pm and it was closed and I went at 12:15pm the next day and it was closed!

My iPhone's battery swelled for no apparent reason, causing the screen to bend. I was concerned it might catch fire. Online, I found that others had encountered the same issue. They reported that when they visited the Apple Store, they were advised to replace their phones for around $700. I had a similar experience when I went for a repair. The staff at the Apple Store gave me several reasons why they couldn't replace the battery and suggested I replace the entire phone for $700. I don't understand why Apple is so greedy now. I declined. Sitting at the Apple Store Genius Bar, I called iFix Electronics, as well as a bunch of other nearby iPhone repair shops. Fortunately, iFix Electronics was able to help. The repair, which took only an hour, involved removing the swollen battery and installing a new one. Now, my phone is functioning properly again, and the screen is no longer bent by the battery. Although the new battery isn't "Apple authentic," I'm fine with that because the original "Apple authentic" battery swelled for no reason. Why should I continue with another "Apple authentic" battery that could swell again for no reason? I'm pleased with iFix Electronics' service, and they have successfully solved the issue and prevented me from being ripped off by the greedy Apple Store.

They do not observe their posted business hours. This means that if you’re counting on getting your very important device back, you might show up to a closed shop with a telephone that rings endlessly but does not allow you to leave a message. You may have to track them down to get your device back. This caused me a massive amount of aggravation and to lose income during my work day. I sincerely regret giving them my business — they overcharged as well, for some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had in my entire life.

Recently asked iFix to help with a keyboard issue and replace my battery. Jimmy the owner was pretty nice and gave a fair price. He was nice over the phone as well.
Battery replacement for macbook pro was done well, and keyboard issue was fixed. Everything under $200, so it was reasonable for cost nowadays. He repaired everything within a few days.

Brought in my busted iPhone 14 (I dropped a weight on it) and was pleasantly surprised when the repair guy here told me he could replace the screen. He said that because the phone was as little bent it wouldn't look as good as new and I'd have to watch out for water and stuff but otherwise should be fine. Two hours later I have a repaired phone so great experience to that point. Less than 24 hours later my phone screen completely stopped working and he wants to charge me for a whole new one again except for an oh so generous $50 discount. I feel like he knew that he should've just said the phone wasn't reparable in the first place but did it anyway just to get my money. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.
