This was a very good experience for me. I had warranty work completed on our 2023 Thor Class C. I was told repairs could take time and was provided with a reasonable time frame. Our service advisor was great and Courtney provided weekly updates. I will return to this service center for repairs.Service: Body & Trim

It is tough to find anyone in there to talk to. I called 5 times in one day, did the same on different days, and left messages. I emailed them. Finally, someone called me back and talked to me about my order. They sent my order. But, after 20 times calling and emailing and one month later than the time that they promised me to send. At least they sent it without an extra charge. They deliver the part without cost. That was a significant part of service.

La Mesa RV engages in deceptive practices, luring customers in with false promises and then failing to deliver on those promises. They have falsely advertised product features like leveling, remote capabilities, and the presence of a spare tire. Additionally, they sell extended warranties but refuse to honor them. They initially offer mobile service for warranty and other services but retract these offers after making a sale. Furthermore, they do not schedule timely repair appointments, often delaying them for up to six months. Their warranty coverage for collateral issues, such as a Cummins generator with a recall, is also unreliable and not upheld.

We bought our RV from them right before the Covid shut downs. They have an amazing indoor show room. The sales people do not hover over you but are very helpful when needed. We went to MANY MANY other places and it felt like a complete rip off and just complete game playing. From the very beginning until the very end the sales was great! They would get 5 stars however the repair place is non-responsive you have to hound them to respond they literally take weeks to months. They are also only open Monday through Friday regular business hours which I do not find very customer service friendly.

Went into Parts a month ago-- spoke with Shane the Parts and Service Manager after waiting for 15 minutes. Brought my motorhome in looking for an end cap for my shade. He took the information and said he would email the manufacturer and get back to me. No correspondence-- send a follow up email a month later... he said yes sorry he hadn't gotten back had heard back from the manufacturer however the part is no longer manufactured and he sent me to EBay to find the part. Waste of a month. Emailed back and asked if there was another alternative or vendor-- no response. It appears they are not really a resource.

Have only had negative experiences dealing with this place but in a way I have become grateful for them as this has led me to learn to fix and repair my camper van myself.

My service person, Kayla went the extra mile for my wife and I. She spent a half hour going over the technical workings of our travel van. So helpful to us!

La Mesa RV has improved immensely within the last year. I have experienced poor to mediocre service in the past. Everything from Service advisors to the technicians to the restructuring/streamlining has turned this place into a top notch business. From the moment I dropped off my RV for repair, Courtney has kept me updated on progress and status. Very professional and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend anyone that requires RV service to make La Mesa RV your go to shop.

Took my Van twice for the same problem with no power on my outlets. Now the third time having the same problem they told me last time they've fixed the problem but obviously they don't know what they're doing! Wasted my time they look stupid! From sales to service they'll fail! What a shame! Go somewhere don't waste your time with them.

So I called to get on the waiting list for service , 8 months went by and nothing . So I went in to talk to someone about the problem I was having ( gas leak at the valve of the propane tank ) couldn't get anyone to talk to me in service , sent me up to the service ladies and they told me that they still had me on the list but they are backed up , basically left with no answers and no date ... it's now been 15 months and I have since had my issues fixed on my RV but still have not received a call . My parents was just in the market for a trailer and I told them 100% do not buy from LaMesa ,,, so they took there money elsewhere and purchased last month , I am also in the process of upgrading from a Class C to a Class A ,, and yes you guessed it NO WAY in hell I'm spending my money with this place !!!!

I purchased a Thor camper van as new from La Mesa November 2022. I noticed the house battery was not charging after it's driven for extended hours. I made an appointment for this issue with LA Mesa service in Davis. The appointment was for1/09/2023 Monday. I dropped off my camper van on 1/9/23 per appointment scheduled. As of today, which is 1/31/23, they were unable to figure out the cause. Here is a log of my experience with Ms. Kayla at LA Mesa listed in chronological order:1/9/2023 Monday I drop off my camper van. Ms. Kayla told me they will perform diagnostics in 2 days and call me.1/10 & 1/11/2023 (next 2 days)I figured they were supposed to be running diagnostics for 2 days as planned. No phone calls.1/12/2023 Thursday I called Kayla asking when I can pick up the camper van. That's because I have another appointment on 1/14 Sat to have a dash cam installed at another place. I was told the camper van would not be ready and Kayla will contact me Mon (1/16) or Tue (1/17).1/16/2023 Monday Kayla did not contact me1/17/2023 TuesdayI called 2 times, left message, and there was no call back. I went by La Mesa and Kayla was there. Though she apologized for not replying to me, Kayla said it was not an alternator issue and my camper van should be ready for pick up in 2 days.1/18/2023 Wednesday (next day) No calls1/19/2023 Thursday (2nd day)I called. Kayla said my camper van was not ready and they will call me next Mon or Tue (1/23 or 1/24)1/23/2023 MondayNo calls.1/24/2023 Tuesday I called because I was supposed to pick up my camper van. No reply. I called later. Phone was picked up by Kayla but I was asked why I kept calling. She indicated she was busy and had 60 cars waiting for her. She said the technician could not handle the problem and they will need to contact Thor and, again, will call me the following Mon or Tue (1/30 or 1/31).1/31/2023 TuesdayNo calls from Kayla or LA Mesa. I called twice and the phone was not picked up and the message was not returned.For those who need to know whether LA Mesa service in Davis is good or not, stay tuned. I intend to continue posting.

If ALL you're after is a low price then go there. As for customer service before, during and especially after the sale. Fagetaboutit.
