They have a great selection and keep the store organized for the most part, but I marked them down 2 stars for cleanliness. It looks like they haven’t cleaned their floors in months, which isn’t something I typically would notice except it’s so dirty it gets their clothes dirty too. They make you hang your clothing up at the dressing room entry so they can count your items, and one of the items of clothing I was going to try touched the ground. When I went to try it on the whole bottom hem was covered in dirt and dust bunnies. ? The dressing room floors are just as gross, same collection of dust bunnies and I almost stepped on an open safety pin. Otherwise I really like shopping here!

Rude doesn't begin to describe the manager that I dealt with ..asked him one question... answer was a yes or no. Instead, he barked some mishmash of an answer that was not intelligent nor nice to the ear. Shame on him. Evening shift. Prices aren't so great that I'd return..sad

I went to TJ Maxx in Davis yesterday and was assisted by a staff member named FATIMA B. She was very helpful and friendly, assisting me with many things. On top of that, she was also patient and helped me find the sizes I needed for different clothing items!!

I walked in today to get a tag off of a blanket that I had purchased several months ago and had forgotten my receipt. I asked the young woman working for support and she brushed me off like I was a thief. I asked if she could help me with pulling up my mother's account...she told me that she couldn't without even offering to help. I was pissed off at this point and went home to see if I still had the receipt and fortunately found it and ran back to have the stupid tag removed. I know you all have theft constantly, yet the customer service for legitimate customers sucks. Do better than this and consider getting a better database system to store receipts to verify transactions! I mean you already have people stealing heaps of merchandise already so why not consider investing in some measures that let you and others know when things have been stolen.

I occasionally like making the extra 20 minute trip to go to this TJMaxx for the selection. Not sure I'd be back anytime soon. The selection in their makeup selection were ok. Staff I interacted with have been polite. But what really got me hesitating to come back is the cleanliness. Someone pushed back one of the skincare/beauty shelves and all these huge dust bunnies collecting under were suddenly revealed. One of the staff's response (after I saw what looks like a supervisor walk by and see it), was to push the shelves back in place to hide the dirtiness. Wouldn't it have been better to get a broom and dustpan to clean it up. I also saw the dust bunnies/clumps of hair around the bottom of one of the smaller shelves. Really gross. I don't think I'd trust any health/beauty/skincare products out of this store until they complete a deep clean.

Just wanna say the Davis TJM location is thee best in the region! Trust me I have shopped them all and the Davis store is head and shoulders in terms of inventory and brands. I had to stop catching all the flies with my mouth, when I noted all the popular, good, current brand items they carried...I was in shock! Davis is not the closest store to my family and I, but they've won by business based on variety alone. The Davis store has got something special!

Got tricked into signing up for their Credit Card. While getting my items rung up, the cashier asked me if I'm a member to which I replied "No". He proceeded to tell me I would save 10% today by signing up to be a member. I thought it was like signing up to be a member like the supermarkets. But it's not. It's an actual credit card. I am beyond p1ssed. Not cool. TJ Max, please stop the deception and tell your workers to be clear and upfront. I will be canceling my credit card the minute I receive it several weeks from now.

So the workers are usually friendly but I’ve come three times this month to shop for Christmas and a girl stocking needs some serious customer service skills. She was slamming beauty items on shelves making it known she’s upset or hates her job! and before that time she was hanging up items very aggressively talking to herself about customers making rude comments how we are in the way and rolling her eyes at people near her she gets right up on people and acts like she’s fixing stuff people are looking at Not the tj max service I’m used to please train this worker I’m sure you know who she is!
