Great credit union. Their fraud department is outstanding I had an unusual charge on my account that immediately got flagged and within minutes of it happening I received a phone call from a representative asking if I had made those charges. They immediately canceled the card and issued me a new one. On a side note if you go to any branch they will replace you card on the spot so you don't have to wait seven to ten business days for it to be sent in the mail. Staff is very friendly and helpful would highly recommend doing banking business here.

Worse customer service I have ever encountered. Uncooperative, uninformative, different answer from each representative. I am closing my account.

Eleven years with USE Credit Union and I really like them. I miss my original teller (she got promoted and changed locations) but nearly every experience I've had with them has been positive. I definitely recommend USE for anyone looking for a credit union, and any UCD student or staff.

Extremely sketchy.I'm a college student, and I'm not supposed to be paying a $5 fee, but they're still charging me. I asked about it, and they told me I have to fill out a form online even though I opened a student account. My account is on hold, so I can't access my account online at all, and there's no way to fill out the form personally.Currently, my account is in the negatives because of the fees I shouldn't have gotten. My account seems to be lost as whenever I call the bank, they "can't find my card" so there's no way for me to be refunded or have this problem fixed.

I have been with USE for over 20 years.They have gone downhill in customer service in the past few years.Its unfortunate that they have become the CAN'T DO instead of being on the cutting edge of can do.

The worst experience I have had in mortgage lending. I'm very experienced in the industry so understand the process. All I can say is that everything you want to avoid when doing a mortgage transaction is what happened. More fees, higher interest rate than promised, chasing them for communication and long unprofessional underwriting period. Very disappointed at our treatment after being associated with them for over 25 years and being a A+ member with strong credit history. Will not recommend to any of my clients as refinances and home buying is stressful enough as it is.

I called USE credit union yesterday to make a payment on my vehicle and I was told no I could not make a payment. They repossessed my vehicle this morning and continue to refuse to take my payment. I was told I could not speak to a manager. I was told they did not have the invoice from the repo company after I had gotten off the phone with the repo company and was told that they sent the invoice to USE earlier this morning.

We have a car loan through USE and they have always been great. Currently we were looking to consolidate some bills into a personal loan with a little left over to do some upgrades on our new home and Chris Majestic has been amazing. We are not sure of the status of our loan application yet, but even if we are not approved, Chris has done a great job and definitely worked hard for us!

My bank since 1992. I opened it when I was a college freshman at San Jose State. I'm grateful that they have online banking because we moved across the country. I've never had a problem with this credit union. They belong to the credit union network which means we can go to any participating credit union and do onsite banking if necessary. Only thing I don't like is that they don't open accounts online.

Some days ago, I went to the USE Credit Union, located at Davis, CA. I was attended by a clerk whose name is Reina. Reina with friendly and amiable manners called to be attended in her window. She showed me great respect and knowledge of her job. After doing my business, I discover in Reina the following qualities in the customer service area. 1). She is very friendly, courteous, and respectful with customers. 2). Reina has a good knowledge of banking operations. 3). Quickly resolves custormer's issues. 4). Great communication with customers. 5). Outstandind skills in her customer service. For those great qualities that Reina has, I want to congratulates USE Credit Union Davis, Ca branch, for hiring workers like Reina. I think she is a great asset in this branch for the outstanding job she does with custormers. I hope USE Credit Union, will hire more workers like Reina. Thank you so much.

used to be SO much better, each time they change their website it is impossible to locate anything.. just wasted over 3 hours dealing with first the idiots at their service center, when the idiot who answered couldn't even repeat my number, I asked for a better one, had to wait hours again, then she knew nothing, then passed me to someone else, then she said they are not answering, could they call me back, I said don't U use USE where is the spot to do a deposit online.. she just laughed and sent me to another number, I waited for 20 minutes of ringing and got some bozo from some OTHER service center, I told him to pass me to the DAVIS Branch and he asked which CU and where? he is the backup for thousands it appears...I stayed on hold listening to music for almost an hour before it cut off.. the folks at the branch are amazing, but all of the idiots at the "service" center should be trained or let go.....

Very slow credit union using outdated data system. It took two months longer to get a preapproved loan processed than Wells Fargo. Clerks are also slow and friendly (asks personal questions like what does your business do). It is a good bank for people who have time, but not for busy people.
