Lost my package, lied when asked about it and said it was placed in my mailbox except my mailbox was basically overflowing so there was literally no way. Contacted them about it, told me the same thing and that the mail carrier remembers putting it in my mailbox. Really? You remember every single package? You remember placing a large package in my already full mailbox? Right. Said they'd follow up and never did. Waste of time and my money with no reimbursement.

I've come here for money orders and for a in person change-of-address verification. Both interactions were super fast and quick. The post office is cold haha so bring a jacket

This gets five stars in being a post office. I don't know why people are giving it low reviews. Did they expect it to not be a post office? Were they disappointed with the frozen yogurt selection? I was not disappointed with the frozen yogurt selection because I did not expect one. This is a post office and does post officey things. There are lines, they will send you back to the counter if you bring the wrong form up. There are good things about post offices too.Go to the post office. Be with the post office.

Had 2 not-so-straightforward returns to make to two separate places. Jack was so, so kind and patient with me and helped me through the whole process. Both times I've come to this location, the staff have been very helpful.

I went to the post office with pre paid labels that needed to be printed and a lady told me that that they don’t do printing. The USPS not being able to print labels is crazyyy. Don’t go to this location unless you’re just dropping off packages. Certified to ruin your day.

Someone give Patrick a raise. He went out of his way to help me package my items carefully and patiently even though it's not their responsibility. He was so kind amidst the busy chaos of their environment. Good customer service is rare. Wonderful, empathetic customer service is non existent - except for dear Patrick. Please, reward this employee as my gratitude and heartfelt thank yous aren't enough.

Absolutely useless, loses mail constantly, and don't care about it. Not to mention employees are really rude.

Send a computer to a friend for his b-day. Used the online tracker, to let him know package was arriving today. Carrier didn't ring his doorbell!!!! Just left a note. Friend was totally bummed. He had double checked his doorbell and made sure he could hear a knock or a ring. Best guess...carrier didn't want to heft the big box up the stair to my friend's 2nd story apt. Definitely using Fed-ex next time.

I had to mail something regular mail but certified and return receipt requested so came here on a late Wednesday morning right before lunch. I also needed to buy an envelope, so I was hoping they would sell single envelopes too. There was only a few people ahead of me when I went and the line was not obnoxiously long and moved at a reasonable pace. At first there was only one person working, but then there was two people pretty soon after I arrived. It has been years since I sent something certified mail and return receipt requested, so it was nice that the person helping me at the counter walked me through how to fill everything out correctly. I also was able to buy my single envelope like I was hoping. Overall, I was able to mail what I needed mail and would come to this USPS location again!

Lost $50 worth of packages through their delivery. Occasionally checks that package is delivered. Also their response to lost packages is to file a claim when not every package has insurance to file a claim. Only thing good is the cheap international mailing service.

Jasmin was very helpful in finding my package after it was not delivered due to a vacant mailbox slip. She was very kind and helpful. I had her running around the facility trying to locate my package and then getting me stamps!

This review discusses the USPS arcane policies and treatment of lost shipments, not the hard working individuals at the Davis office.A quick summary of the USPS Financial status: Nearly defunct. Postmaster DeJoy's words about their financial condition was 'dire.' In the past 2 years they have posted losses approaching $15 Billion USD. Ergo, DO NOT DO BUSINESS with a business that is looking for ways to cut corners, & increase your costs of doing business with them. Use FedEX and UPS and their insured services and at least you'll have peace of mind when shipping valuables. The USPS lost my prescription sunglasses that were additionally insured when they were shipped priority mail. The final insurance claim paid out was 10% of the value and the receipts I registered in my claim. Appeals were denied, as I was told. 'that's what the USPS values your item at.' You have no recourse when they use a secret valuation table, and then you receive pennies on the dollar of your lost valuables. Paying EXTRA for insurance does nothing, they'll still devalue your item. The result is I'm totally out of pocket for new expensive glasses and the USPS didn't even issue an apology, let alone honor the insurance that was purchased. USE UPS AND FEDEX and let the USPS go down in bankruptcy.

It’s a post office, same as the hundred of others around. The paintings around the place of how Davis used to look in another era give the place a sense of community and as one was walking into a small gallery. For the most part, service has always been great for me. Hours of operation for the public could be improved, though.
