Looks like I'm not the only person who has had awful experiences.I come to this post office very often to mail out packages.Every single time I've come here I'm been treated like I am trash.The clerk who works there has made countless deragatory remarks and slurs at me.I come here because I live close by,but yesterday marked my last straw coming to this location.I will no longer be returning to this location.

6/24/25 - The old lady working at the front needs to be fired. I came to deliver one package, already in a bubble mailer envelope ready to go. I got there and had to wait like 10 minutes with a line out the door because she won't stop making small talk with people and once it was my turn to see how much it'd be to ship, she tried to charge me for the bubble mailer envelope and I explained that i brought it with me and that l've been holding it the whole time while waiting 10 mins. She gave me a nasty look like im lying and tried to steal an envelope?? The attitude is crazy coming from a lady in charge of watching the smallest lobby possible. If you have time to make small talk and hold up the line, you should have time to be watching the small room and seeing if people actually grab inventory to buy. Will NOT be coming back to this location, I'much rather drive 5 mins down the road to the other location for polite service and to not get accused of stealing 👍🏼

I ship orders regularly through an app called depop, this time when I came into this location an older lady at the front accused me of stealing a bubble wrap envelope when I came in with it pre-packed. I tried to explain to her I had been waiting in line with it for over 20 minutes as the line was out the door, after bickering with me for 5 minutes I told her I don’t appreciate being accused she said “It’s not my fault you look like the type” as I walked out, needless to say a few people left with me that were in line and said they will never do business with this office again as I also won’t myself.

The clerk was actually one of the rudest strangers I’ve ever encountered… I understand that working in customer service you are not obligated to be an angel, but this lady was unhelpful, condescending, and straight up MEAN. I have social anxiety and I am always overly polite & hyper aware of how I present myself in public, so her attitude was unwarranted to say the least. Immediately after leaving the place, I messaged my friend about the encounter because it was so appalling and upon reading the reviews, I suspect it may have been because I am Asian (granted, nothing specifically made me think it was bc of my race). I am amazed that this lady is still employed even with so many reviews complaining about her.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. The lady at the front was really mean, she deserves to get fired. No people skills. If there was a reward for being the rudest person in Davis she would definitely take it. Do not come here, you will not get good help. I believe she is racist to Latinos too or students in general. She seems to be friendly to the locals that's why she has some rare good reviews.

I have no idea why all the negative reviews. The attendant acted cordially, pleasant and smiled. She commented on the weather and we conversed about the new winter stamps, which I just purchased. Winter, the best of all seasons!
Go there. Feel the Davis downtown vibe, as the customer in front of me reeked of weed, yet conversed with his current package about to enter the world of first class mail: classic Pokemon cards. Again, the attendant had something positive to say about the hobby. Who could not like this little slice of postage heaven? Cheers people

The location of this service is convenient but I also had the same experience with the clerk as others shared here. I literally get anxious when I have to go there because of her discriminatory attitude. This is a rare experience for me in Davis. Usually staff are friendly and supportive of international students.

These people are amazing. Not sure what the other reviews are referring to. They helped me with a “wild” & glitched package intercept and worked way beyond the call of duty to help me ensure my package wasn’t stolen/left at the wrong address!

The clerk was very rude to me when I came in yesterday. I waited in line to drop off a package, and she spoke very fast, rushed me and told me I could leave it in the mailbox in the future. I asked her about the weight of the packages allowed in the mailbox, and she gave a very snarky and dismissive answer, implying that I didn't read the sign above it carefully enough. I'm an Asian student, and I noticed that she treated me exactly the same way as a lot of the reviewers here have stated. She was very polite and helpful to the people in front of me (they weren't Asian). Someone like this should not be working in a customer service position. Shame on USPS for keeping her as an employee for so long when she makes many students in the community feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It's frankly disgusting.

AVIOD! Racist aside, the clerk mislead me while purchasing money order on purpose. She specifically told me to sign on the back before sending, making the money order useless. USPS don’t get customers for a good reason.

Very bad experience with the clerk lady. She is clearly rude toward asian people without even a little patience. I can’t believe years ago people posted that lady and she’s still here today. She could seriously hurt people’s feelings. It’s not about whether people do or do not understand how busy she is or how the usps works. It’s all about attitude. She is clearly RACIST.
