Visited second times, the female remains rude and persistently exhibits an affectionate demeanor exclusively towards individuals of the Caucasian race Lol

Some time ago I had the same experience so many people have shared here. I heard her complain about international students for not understanding the US postal system. She was rude and clearly discriminatory towards me, while friendly and helpful with the white customers that came afterward.

I think the clerk also doesn’t like Latinos. I thought it was weird how monotone her voice was and how she looked so annoyed and pissed when I just asked her how much shipping was. Thought she was just having a bad day. Turns out she’s like that with Asian people as well. She even look annoyed when I told her too have a good day and thank you.

A government office that has no need for competition and therefore treats their customers (constituents) like bums. Too much inefficiencies and no need for innovation. They do the bare minimum and take all the criticism since the only way they lose revenue is if everyone stopped paying their taxes. Terrible customer services, lady behind the desk does the job for a check and treats people like they're lesser than her. Probably overworked and understaffed, but totally rude.

Please go somewhere else. I thought she was being mean to everyone, but it turns out it's because I'm Asian. No wonder she was all friendly and joking with two guys before me, but then became cold when it was my turn. I politely asked if I could get shipping and return labels for my package. She just said, "Well I don't have a public printer." and keep repeating her words. This confused me because the website said they provide printing labels. When I asked how to write my address without a printed label, she replied with, "I don't care." It won't kill you to give some instructions and explanation when what you say doesn't match the website.

avoid at all cost - that lady rush and hurry you although there’s no one else behind us. Remember to get receipt so you can fill in the survey

I just came here a few days ago and unfortunately, as the people have posted years ago, the lady is still there and still acted the same towards Asian students. I was being nice and was genuinely confused with my questions, but all she did was answer them in a rude manner and in the fastest way she could. Yet when it was old white people's turn, she was very talkative and nice towards them, even telling them to have a nice day--which is something I even said to her as well, yet she didn't say anything back. Rude. Avoid this as much as you can.

Ronda is so cool and always has great energy when I come in. She is overworked sometimes and I get why she would have low energy towards the end of the shift. Working alone could be tiring! Shout out to her for taking care of my mail.

Avoid this downtown post office, I would only use it for prepaid shipping or stamped letters. I asked for the cheapest option when shipping a package to Canada, and the employee there told me that $45 was the cheapest since "everything goes by air".I went to the other larger post office in Davis toward the east, and the staff there told me it would be $25. Pure negligence. There's only one person working at this post office, whereas I always see at least 5-6 people working at the other one (and they tend to be much more professional, too).

The same rude lady in everyone's reviews from years ago unfortunately still works here and her attitude still has not changed. Although I am not sure if it's Asian people or students that she doesn't like, but, just to be safe and not deal with the hassle, just go to a different location because she is definitely not worth the headache. Anyone who wants to defend her, you are not making sense. She is only working there for four hours and being a little nice when you make an interaction for 3~ minutes wouldn't hurt your ass.

A few weeks ago I went here to mail and as it was my first time mailing I inevitably ran into questions I didn't understand so I tried asking the clerk lady my questions(I was not being rude, on the contrary I tried to be sincere), however when I spoke to her, just like other comments said, she immediately turned cold and sped up her speech(the speed was obviously not so fast when facing white people). The next few times I spoke to her, she became visibly more impatient with me until a few white customers came to deliver their things. The funny thing is that the lady clerk suddenly became enthusiastic and patient when talking to them. I don't understand why she has a bad and rude attitude toward me, just because I'm Asian? I wouldn't say anything if this was her usual work style, but I was disappointed to witness her different attitude toward customers of different colors. Anyways, I hope Asian people, especially students who read my comment avoid this post office because she will try to make communication difficult to get:)
