“After relocating to Davis about a year ago, we chose West Davis Veterinary Center for our dog primarily on the basis of a referral from her oncologist who lives here locally, We have now brought our Chihuahua there several times and the staff has been exceptionally accommodating and professional. Dr. Bradley and Dr. Brown have both treated our 15 yr old Chihuahua who has a fairly complex combination of medical issues such as cancer, arthritis, and the usual "senior" dog complaints. The vets are very compassionate, thorough, and genuinely motivated to provide the best care possible.I would not hesitate to recommend West Davis Veterinary Center to anyone looking for quality and professional care for their four-legged family members.”

“Acorn vet is the best! I love my cat's vet Dr. Nixon. She is wonderful! She's always very patient, kind and she really cares about my cat and it shows. I have talked to her about so many of my concerns and she always takes the time and gives me good advice. As a result, my cat is doing so well!! I'm so grateful I have been able to take my cat to her since I brought him to Davis! The animal techs, other vets who have seen my cat and people at front desk are so nice too! Dr. Wolf did successful surgery on my cat too.”

“We brought our beloved dog Basil here for acupuncture and holistic care when he was diagnosed with lung cancer. Due to the nature and location of his cancer, other treatment options were not available to him and we were hoping to make his remaining time with us as happy and healthy as possible. We wanted to give him as many good days as we could. We could not have asked for better care or kinder care givers. Basil was always anxious and scared at the vet, but not at CIAM. I could tell he felt safe and relaxed with Dr. Yamate and at peace in the office. They gave him their very best for his last few months. And when it was time to say goodbye, not only did Dr. Yamate take my personal phone calls after hours to walk me through the painful process, but she helped us decide when he was no longer well enough to continue at home under our care. I will be forever grateful that we got to bring him to a place where he was loved and felt at peace for his final moments. It was evident how much every staff member loved our dog, even though we were only with them for a short time. He was so cared for, and we were so cared for through every step of the process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for holding me and my family through this experience.Dr. Yamate is an absolute gem and we wholeheartedly recommend this practice to everybody.”

“I can't say enough about how wonderful the team at Midtown is. Reception is always incredibly friendly and helpful, the doctors are thorough, compassionate, and truly listen to your concerns about your pet, the tech team is excellent with your fur babies. Today they did a dental on my tiny angry Chihuahua and they couldn't have handled him and his large personality any better. The doctor called mid-day with an update on exactly what they did and was wonderful. They took fabulous care of him and adapted their handling to his special needs to keep him as stress-free as possible. They are also incredibly reasonably priced for the outstanding quality of care they provide. If you are looking for a new vet, look no further.”

“I take all 3 of my pets here, two of which are seniors. My long hair calico has severe anxiety when she leaves the house. To the point where she will vomit, urinate and defecate in her crate. It's always embarrassing to take her anywhere. The staff here at Midtown animal Clinic is wonderful with her. They even go out of their way to help clean her up and they'll bag her dirty bedding. I know it's not their job and they go above and beyond. I truly appreciate their staff. They're always throuough with their examinations and diagnosis and don't run any unnecessary tests. I live in Sac but will always make the drive to bring my pets here for the exceptional service.”

“If you're looking for a vet that puts animals first, it's Acorn. The dogs truly love the staff, including our pup. We do rehab there and they are the only vet I'd trust with my paralyzed pup. They have gone above and beyond to help her through every emergency. We will be patients there forever.”

“The folks at UC Davis went above and beyond what we have ever experienced!! 10 stars!! We had a dog come in through our rescue who needed a TECA (double ear ablation surgery) this is a very major surgery, and requires specialists. We got into Davis, we met with the wonderful Doctor Kyla Walter (DMV) and her staff. The thoroughness, care, compassion and attention to detail they had when taking on Cletus's case was just outstanding. He had other stuff come up (skin issues, infection due to bacteria that had been growing in his ear prior to surgery) they handled it so incredibly well. We got detailed updates twice a day, and he was so well taken care of. We have gone so numerous specialists in the Bay Area, and UC Davis not only provided stellar care, but they were honestly more affordable than any other place we got quoted. I cannot recommend them enough!! This has been a long journey for this dog and we couldn't have had a better group of experts to help him with this, and been more joyful to work with. THANK YOU DOCTOR WALTER and UC Davis!!!! We appreciate you all so much.”

“Amazing service!! My daughter wanted a hamster (under my supervision). We went to Petco after we had the worst customer service at pet supplies. We were greeted when we came in. My daughter picked out a cage and food and we had questions on the different types of hamsters. The kind human that helped us gave us the information we needed to decide we would like the bigger hamster. We were allowed to meet the hamster in person before we bought the hamster. After we chose the hamster we wanted we were helped with choosing the right size cage and accessories. Such wonderful customer service. Sadly I didn't catch the amazing human that helped us but we appreciate them and will start doing our shopping at Petco I love the fact that they actually cared about our questions and helped us every step of the way.”
